@@JBMtravels Caledonia Travel have taken over the Hotel , I seen the information on Facebook. I don't know if they have changed the inside of the hotel as I have never stayed there you will know .
Sadly not the Town it was, they do try but Blackpool really is a sinking ship. Sure it will still attract ''certain visitors'' BUT the good days are sadly long gone, even in the summer season it's now a very sad depressing location.
Hi Gary , I have to agree with you , it's sad to see Blackpool go downhill, I love Blackpool we go every year but I have seen it changing every year and it seems to be getting worse especially the back streets, so sad because it's a great seaside town , I hope that it improves with the investment they are supposed be doing .
@@davidGPS95 My first visit as a kid was 1975 When I was 6 My last visit was 2018 - It just looked depressing and I couldn't justify a return visit as a holiday, real shame what with all the history, the Town needs a lot of upgrading for me 2 ever consider returning.
@@G4RY1159 Yes it's sad because the town has made millions over the years and it seems to be getting worse instead of better, where has all the money gone ? Blackpool is a famous seaside town and the council should be doing more to clean up the town , also Blackpool is not a cheap holiday and you can see why people would rather go abroad especially when the backstreets beyond the prom are run down with empty buildings and shops , the council really need to get their act together it's a disgrace if nothing is done Blackpool will become like Morecombe.
