I cant believe how FAST the Snapdragon is in opening games! Everybody knows Apple sucks when it comes to opening Apps but the A11 is supposed to dominate games and large Apps and it LOSES 3 OUT OF 4! WOWWWW!
This not is iOS 11.2.5 this is the version more recent, phone battles is using 11.3 beta or iOS 11.0 iOS 11.2.5 is much faster in games ;) and better in multitasking

José Luis Barrientos Carrasco I wouldn't go that far as to make blanket statements like that. The Snapdragon 845 is faster in Apps, which I use FAR more than Games in my day to day. I use the internet and TH-cam more than anything b on my phone, and the Samsung Destroys Apple. As to gaming, yes, the A11 Bionic tends to run smoother but that's not the case now with the 845. 3 out of 4 games launched faster on the 845. It's pretty impressive.

I think the nvme storage on iPhone is faster, it it still loses. It'll be interesting when UFS 3.0 comes out next year. It is 2x faster than UFS 2.1 and with 7nm processors, android should be really fast.

Wow! I did not expect the Sony to be that faster when it comes to loading apps and games. It's even faster than iPhone X. Now I'm satisfied. Sony XZ2 may not have the best looking phone but the performance was very promising.

The Sony is just the better overall phone in every department even the stereo speakers test, the apple sounded a bit louder but didn't sound as clear in any way as the Sony. The quality of the stereo speakers on the Sony just miles ahead. The Sony beats it in every category flat.

It'll only be blurrier in extreme low light and when zooming in, other than that the camera of the Sony blows the apple away which by the way uses a Sony sensor which is the most important thing in a camera.

Irelia I had the xz premium and recently changed to the V30+. It's not really a night and day difference, the premium put up a good fight in terms of black contrast.

1:24 neither of them are waterproof. however they're water resistant. waterproof means it can't get wet in other words submerging it is fine at basically all depths, resistance means it can repel water to a point etc

Did you disable smart cleaner on the XPERIA? I switched mines off the other day and it seems much more snappier, much more willing to leave apps in RAM and seemed to increase battery life.

Because they put a smaller sensor, the lens has smaller aperture and the size of the pixels isn't large enough to catch more light. It is a downgrade compared to the XZ Premium and XZ1.
^^It is a downgrade indeed, but a rightful one. For one, the bezels shrunk down in size significantly because of it.
Like I've said, something like the LG G4's 8mp front camera with AF will be more than good enough. Sony won't be that confident enough to use the front camera for taking high quality 3D scan faces if it wasn't a good one.

Yeah I had the iPhone 6 for the past 2 years now and just recently got iPhone 7 had a lot of glitch and slow... I finally got my Sony XZ2 a few days ago, way faster loading apps.
When you swiped up to early on the lock screen? The Sony stopped the face recognition, while the iPhone continued, that's why it unlocked, both are pretty much the same speed.

Thank you so much for this video! So Sony is slightly faster overall but the cameras and the sound seem inferior to me. It's surprising to me personally since I thought it might be the other way round. The front camera looks really terrible tbh.... but the rest looks good. Is there any chance at all that you could make a comparison video of nokia 8 sirocco vs sony or samsung or iphone? I've heard that it's supposed to be really good and old sentimentalities are starting to surface...

the live photo feature was ON on the iphone, hence the slow response for the shutter press. Disable the live feature and the camera gets fast

Because you saw AnTuTu 7.0 score. On this version scores are a lot higher. My OP3 was 150K on v6 and now I'm at 170K on v7.
The ram don't increase benchmark score significantly.

I'm not one of these fan people I had iPhones previously but felt my customisation options where limited so currently on Android with the XZ Premium. I would like another iPhone as I love the performance design and quality of the camera but would feel a step down in terms of customisation as wouldn't be able to expand memory. What the like for browser streaming sports?
The camera on the iPhone X was slow because the 'live photos' was on. live photos record a 2 second video while capturing the photo.

I want to buy the Sony XZ2 but i noticed that they do not sell the 6GB Ram version in the EU, only in Canada UK and US. Does it make a big of a difference? i hear people complaining about Android 8 not running smootly with "only" 4 GB RAM... can someone tell me that its enough pls :D dont wanna pay the big shipping costs to buy a device from the US or UK

On Temple Run it said "Downloading content" on the iPhone, hence why it took longer.
Also, i think you didnt install the latest update on the iPhone as the indicator and the laggy animations tell me. You have to be a little more clear with that.

On the web browser test you only check which phone is first to the site but not which finishes loading the page first aswell, atleast on the Sony webpage.
