Another excellent review. The masterpiece versions bent the arms up at the elbow to attach the pylons, so Hasbro could/should have done that with these. It would be nice to have elbows, but it's less of a deal breaker for me because the G1 toys had semi-functional ones (if you could call them elbows at all). My biggest disappointment is that the weapons have to peg into the arms as opposed to sliding over/clipping onto the arm (a la G1). Otherwise i have few issues with these.
Im sure my sentiments are shared among many, the lack of these of the shelves, their inability to track down in retail. Id like to get a set, but so not willing to pay the absolute ridiculous prices that online stores are offering for it. I have seen both being sold for anywhere from $30 min to 80$ Cheaper to buy another copy of the Spy pack and pull out the paints.
We were tripping over rumbles here when he came out. Frenzy is nowhere to be found. I'm not paying three times the price to get it online. So not only has Hasbro lost out on that sale, I'm not even going to attempt to waste my time with the upcoming constructicons. I will not be trying to hunt them down when one store gets 50 mix masters and zero scrappers. So that's $130+ in sales that they won't get
I absolutely respect and support your choice of FIRRIB, and your "Cartoon is King" stance. Nothing further at this time. I am just being a nice and supportive fellow Transformers fan. I do know that there is a Fan Made Movie that shows the real Power between Rumble & Frenzy: they both can alternate their colors between each other at will😂
LOL, that would sure add to the confusion. I get if one is toy oriented but my first memory of Rumble is messing with Spike and Hound. That dude was immediately blue so voila.
BBTS is finally getting these back in stock soon so hopefully I'll have mine shortly, was lucky enough to find 86 Rumble at Target and I've been enjoying him. It is a slight bummer that you can't really do anything with his accessories while he's in cassette mode, but then again I'm not really sure what you COULD do with them. This trend of selling cassettes individually does suck though, even G1 knew enough to sell them in two-packs lol, would be nice to get back to that but I don't see that happening with Core Class supposedly going away. Probably just going to see them packed with bigger figures as "accessories" from here on out.
@@DennisMoultonAKAGotBot, I started that way but as they continued with G1 characters, the seige has become more of something stylized to the netflix series. Despite Earthrise, Siege characters didn't get earthmodes and I can sort them in their own spot. However, some characters do double duty or can fit outside seige easily.
@AsheBailey Whatever works for you. I have everything as one. I personally fon't need or want or have the space for, like 5 or 6 Optimii as, essentially, it's all the same dude, really. To each their own.
@@DennisMoultonAKAGotBot, seige was my first optimus ever. I keep things in crates on shelves in my office-like room and kinda rotate things around as fondness for certain bots or group occurs. However, I've been too busy with work to do much rotating for awhile.
Oh nice! I got the Rumble version! I have him displayed in my Legacy repackaged Soundwave!
Works great wirh that Soundwave.
I have the siege one but I do enjoy the rumble so I might see if I can snag him
It's good, coulda been great but for a few niggling little issues.

Yeah, I mean, it's good, just niggling little things that keep it from being great.
@@DennisMoultonAKAGotBot Indeed. 👍
Great review GotBot!! It's fantastic that Rumble and Frenzy's shared identity crisis has been resolved. lol :D Keep on being amazing.
Only took 40 years lol

Maybe. We never saw Rumble first nor last.

Gotta love them continuously poor business choices, hey?
Let’s be real as a figure the titans return version is the best. The Rewind Mold was really good. (yet they never did Eject)
100 percent.
@@DennisMoultonAKAGotBotI wonder why they never did Eject

Or is it Rumble?

That's the rumor, they'd be accessories.
I treat him as an ER frenzy and keep the seige one in his seige universe.
I guess you can but seems redundant since, let's be realistic, it's all meant to be G1 anyway.

I really hope that third party just woyld step up and make arms with elbow joints.
Hasbro should have.
Why are you wasting 26 minutes on a Core-Class figure?!
Because it obviously took that long to cover the pertinent information.
