    Hey Deya!
I'm a direct response copywriter. I've been watching videos from creators in different industries because I feel like everything is interconnected. I'm like a sponge when it comes to learning, sooo here I am. 🙈
When I found you, I started to binge-watch your videos. You're awesome girl!!! I love what you do, and the way you don't hold yourself back when empowering others.
I've watched videos from so many influencers, and this genuine care you have for your audience makes you STAND APART.
A lot of influencers (quite obviously may I say), hold themselves back from sharing info, because they don't want anyone to do better than them, or they want people to buy. It really makes the audience feel like a transaction, rather than a connection. I haven't felt those vibes from you. In fact, quite the opposite. This is why I can easily binge-watch your videos, and I LOVE learning from you.
Keep shining at what you do. I'll be here to support you! You've found a genuine admirer. 💕

Awwwww Shlesha!! Thank you SO much. This is such a kind comment. Keep me updated as you continue on your journey! :)

@@MyNameIsDeya Thanks Deya! :) Maybe a gift guide (I heard you like to gift things!) for business owners, or essential systems in your business? Or something related to money mindset. I find that new entrepreneurs always have these hurdles around money (like cheaping out on things that they need to make their lives so much easier).

The “fake” portfolio tip is great! I started doing this myself as I want to get into freelance graphic design. So, What I’ve done (and highly recommend others should do) is create a portfolio of content based around what type of clients you want to have in the future. Make something they might ask you to make but do it for a fake company/influencer in that niche. This will allow your future clients see themselves and how you can help them through your “fake” work. 😎👍

Honestly I've never heard such good and down to earth advice, usually its just these Gurus talking. ALSO, those edits between topics are soo good. Keep it up!

Thanks for another great video, Deya!
I would like to expand on lesson 1, 10:07.
Always go with your gut feeling when accepting new clients.
If you work on online platforms, you are not in control of the interaction and its outcomes.
If you accept somebody that is malicious, they can hurt your profile and hinder your earnings.
Most people want to get their job done and go on their way.
But unfortunately, malicious people exist-otherwise, we would not have crimes in society.
So always go with your gut feeling. For an extra $50, you may lose $1000. Let alone the impact on your mental health!

Hi, Thanks for sharing this! Yes, I agree, always protect your mental health and have your boundaries set to protect you and your business.

    Hi Deya!
One of the best authentic and most structured video series I have come by yet.
For me growing is no problem, but as a freelancer many clients want me to work online during their timezone so I can't set my own schedule.
Do you have any tips about that?
Are you able to set your own hours as a digital business manager or can you work whenever you want? If later, I would really love to see how you managed to convince clients 😊

Hey Ramtin! I've actually rarely worked with clients in my time zone; though I will say, in my experience, having at least 2-3 hours overlap is really essential to a good working relationship.
I think it's about 1) doing your best to reassure the underlying concern of the client (they're worried you won't be responsive -- so you need to address why that won't be a problem) & spinning it to be a benefit for them ("e.g. things get done before you wake up"), 2) doing your best to be flexible + accommodating so the client doesn't feel inconvenienced by your mismatch of time zone and 3) offering relatively high-value skillsets as a freelancer so you have higher competitive advantage in the market and clients won't be able to exclude you just for time zone reasons.
I will add that boundaries are really essential to implement on your end! Hope that helps.

Is cold pitching really strategic when you got a warm feeling it can work? That's a rhetorical I simply do not joke about.... :))
