Hi I love the variety of your channel. I too love charity shops. My local Age Concern shop, gives me off cuts of fabrics and items they have been donated, which they can’t sell and I can make into tote bags for them to sell at a small cost. I find it therapeutic making something simple on my treadle sewing machine, from something that would have gone somewhere for waste fabric. I do have electric sewing machines as well, but that’s another addition 😮love the variety of knitting, spinning, weaving and sewing life is never boring, just need more time and space in the house 😂 I look forward to your next video.
It's wonderful to hear that you love the variety on the channel! Your tote bags sound like a fantastic way to repurpose fabric and help your community. Keep up the amazing work, and I can't wait to share more creative ideas with you!
Lovely video, I would say 90% of my furniture, books, utensils etc. are all second hand - I LOVE a hoik through the shops! You mentioned the Blue Tits, my good friend Charlotte who moved to the area a few years ago from London swims with them. Small world! I hope you have a great week ahead. 🙂
Yes it is a small world, one of the things I love about You tube is that I get to internet meet such amazing people with shared interests. My friend is always trying to get me to join the blue tits for a swim but I keep chickening out, I hate being cold. So glad you enjoyed the video and you have a great week too.
Look forward to your journalling as I've just taken it up too. I feel my tiny cottage would fit in the garage I had when I lived in America, so relate completely to your situation, but oh! the temptation at Paul Sartori and the Garage Sale was immense!
Hi Becca. I’m South Pembrokeshire and find your vlogs really interesting. I love spending time in your area (usually Coast Path Walking) and really enjoy the familiar views 😊
Thank you so much for your kind words! I really appreciate your support and love sharing the beauty of Pembrokeshire I am hoping that Andrew can find some accessible walks in South Pems as we love the contrast between the different parts of the county.
Hello Becca, I really enjoyed the garage sale and charity shop tour, I absolutely Love to do this too! I saw the copper pot and thought of our open fire we have been looking for one lol Anyway So many lovely things and I do like old furniture as well it was very interesting, that old trunk too gorgeous but not the mould lol unfortunately. Thanks for sharing and enjoyed the walking tour too. Well done to your shopping!
I found it really hard to walk away from the copper coal scuttle as I loved it. The trunk would have been perfect but mould is just an instant no. I am glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for taking the time to comment .
I love the variety of your videos Becca. It is always a treat to see you have posted. It has been very stormy here in northwest Washington state. Fall arrived with big winds and cooler rainy days and nights. A sharp contrast to last weekend when I stood high upon the southwest- facing bluff at Rosario Beach and soaked in the sunshine and warm breezes. One thing about living near the sea, it is never boring and ever-changing like the tides. I love it!
I really appreciate your lovely comment! It means a lot to me that you enjoy the variety in my videos. And yes, living near the sea is like a new adventure every day!
Yes-supermoon😮…this weekend…knitting!…playing with oil pastels on top of watercolor…so fun…daily visual journaling too 😊 cheers from the pacific northwest in WA state…ps-i am an eclectic person too 😉
I grew up in South Wales near Abergavenny but my beloved grandparents had a lovely old house in Narbeth, Pembs. It had once been an inn where carriages stopped to change or rest the horses and let the passengers eat. The garage was a huge old forge with the forge still in tact so there had obviously been a working farrier there too. Just hearing you mention Haverfordwest brought back so many memories including one of my grandfather's brother who also lived there for a while and he had a bat which slept in his inside pocket! My grandparents died over 40 years ago but they and the old forge will remain with me forever and sometimes my sisters and I still drive down there to stand at the gate and remember. X
I really appreciate you sharing your heartfelt memories! It’s clear how much your grandparents and their home meant to you. Those moments are what make life so rich.
hehehe I still track mud in my house and I am in a city! ( i do have wood floors tho) love seeing what you get up to, I think you can do junk journaling on here, I think most of us crafters have multiple hobbies too. I'm off to the charity shop now! have a great week !
Just found your channel. Love watching you and will see what else you get up to. Yes I loved the super moon. So cool. Busy sewing and crocheting for my little store. Watching from Texas as an expat Kiwi.
It is so lovely to have you stop by. I feel there is a great story behind a Kiwi ending up in Texas. I'm glad you enjoy my funny quirky videos. I love making them and connecting with crafters from around the world. I hope your shop is going well. Becca.
Nice to see what you are up to and to see your thrifting finds. I love thrift shops and am especially happy when I find something I need (I categorize yarn as a necessity!) Today I spent some time warping and threading my loom. I’ve started on my xmas gifts! Thank you, Becca, for another fun video!

I love opshopshopping too 🥹 Was that a “Rug Doctor” carpet cleaning machine?? They are so good! It’s Labour weekend this weekend. Traditionally it’s “change-over” time for school uniforms [winter to summer wear]. We will stop having fires… so hope it doesn’t snow 🤣🤣🤣
I'm glad to hear you're a fan of opshop shopping too! And yes, that was indeed a Rug Doctor! It makes such a difference. I hope you have a smooth transition into summer!
The super moon was brilliant here as well on the southeast coast of the States! Thanks for taking us on your errands. Great fun ❤
Glad you enjoyed it! 😁🏴🙏

Thanks for another wonderful video. I spent the weekend op shopping and going to a car boot sale. Sending yarny warm wishes from Katy from NZ ❤😊
Thank you so much, Katy! It sounds like you had a fantastic weekend. I hope you found some great treasures at the op shops and car boot sale!
Even with good thrift shops, care is needed to make sure woodworms and mould don't slip through. Well done!
So glad you enjoyed the video I hope the weaving went well for you.
I live near solva and wondered where the charity shop was? Lovely video x
