Funny hearing a Sunderland fan talk about greatness and say Mourinho isn't great. What does a Sunderland fan know about greatness. It's like Titus Bramble talking about the art of defending. He shouldn't have even been allowed to speak on the subject. Jim was so happy he dissed Mourinho.
Laughable. Mourinho's probably never heard of Sunderland and you can see why these clubs are notoriously mediocre with these kinds of takes. Look at Tottenham, sacking him days before a final because they obviously want their mediocre trophy less status to remain untarnished.

José won trophies with United, United, United. I hope you understand what im saying. He then took Tottenham, Tottenham to a final and they sacked him before he could win it. Won Roma, Roma, a title and took them to a Europa league final which if that bold headed pompus baffon of an English muffin was not referring he would have won, while also keeping them 6th which with that kinda depth and considering playing in Europe is quite hard to accomplish. José just needs a club which will give him time but its increasingly harder to find those clubs now adays
if jose was at a club like the ones he coached in the past, inter, real, chelsea... then he would 100% be top 3 in england and top 2 in italy/spain. Nothing's changed. He had one bad spell at chelsea and then coached scum at united. The faults of united lowered his value in the market. Because in 2013 he was at real and that team was SCARY. 2015 he lifted the premier league and then those same exact players were in trash form the season after... You cannot make a case for the game changing because those were the same exact players that won with him. If he has a squad of decent mentality and freedom to pick his signings then he wins or comes close. Period.

The simple truth here is that as fans the heart often rules the head...and you know what? Theres nothing wrong with that. On the one hand I want Pochettino to be given time to work with, improve and develop this young side and I feel that the profile of the squad is wrong for Jose's managerial style. However...if they announced tomorrow that it was a Jose/JT double act I'd be more than a little bit excited...thats nostalgia for you. I'm a massive Mourinho fan, always will be

Chelsea was always a physical team, would have our whole team back a player if someone squared up to one, like against city and spurs when we hast Costa and fabregas, Jose will bring that back and even if our players end up not being good enough at least he’ll bring some fight, and that’s what we’ve been lacking the most for me
One of his best lines was when he was at Chelsea, they lost a game and he goes "I have defenders that can't defend, strikers that can't score" he looked like he didn't shave or sleep for months, like a broken depressed man lool

Not going to happen unless the new owners have a complete turnaround on their long term strategy. And that's not likely. Jose did great for the club in the past but that was with an experienced team of established international players. Chelsea, right now, have the youngest squad in the PL and possibly the youngest they've ever had. The talent is there but so is the inexperience and inconsistency. I'm not sure if Pochettino is ultimately the right guy who will lead this bunch to trophy wins when they mature as a team but he's probably the better option to nurture them at the moment.
Many mid table clubs would take him his style doesn't suit the top pressing but he's a genius I'd stick him in the England job and you can't deny he gets the job done if you get to a final.
Mourinho for England would be a great fit! Its not like they play great football now. Atleast with him, they can win something

Newcastle maybe? If the Newcastle owners have lost faith in Howe, then Mourinho has potential.
I think with Mourinho is that he would stamp his style, he would entice talented summer transfers and he has experience both in Europe and title challenge.
The only issues would be Mourinho's hunger, want to settle in Newcastle and longevity.
Howe has longevity at least and could certainly be the future for Newcastle...

@@djpeekay25 I wouldn't say Howe is better, Mourinho has the greater CV, but, Mourinho wouldn't last longer than 3yrs but would develop a great foundation.. Mourinho, regardless of opinion, can still attract the greater players.
For me, if you want longevity for development, then similar to how Arsenal stick with Arteta, Newcastle also have a potential and promising future successful manager, still young... I'd personally stick with Howe and try and develop a team for the future, but, I guess it's about investments and success, can Howe reach this years targets?
And the end of the day, it'd down to the owners on strategy of success

Chelsea could be the best fit for Jose Morinho ,with Chelsea's extravagant spending on squad building Jose is the man to take them to the next level, give Jose the transfer war chest and he will win you titles.

I'm a Chelsea fan, and he can piss off. I didn't want him the second time either. We had a young brilliant squad in his 2nd stint and he barely made it work with them. If he couldn't work with Mata and De Bruyne then, he can't work with what we have now. He screwed us in the long term, this will be deja vu.

Winning the europa league alone at utd was also a failure as utd aspired for more, hence why they sacked him also. I know you're a jose fan boy, but facts are his managerial career has gone to tatters in recent jobs that he has had. Jose Mourinho was a very good manager he has been successful. But I'm not sure if i want him back at Chelsea definitely for long term. If its a short term deal then maybe. His first spell as Chelsea manager was great. I don't care about his antics but he is a very stubborn person who makes very little effort to play more attacking style football. Can't be sticking 10 men behind the ball every game. I don't think it be worth jose Mourinho time to go back to Chelsea when he will have no control over the players coming in and out of the club. He should go enjoy life and comeback when the right job opportunities arrives to finish his career.

Football...like society in general...has become way too sanitised and devoid of character, opinions, passion. We are all becoming too nice and willing to toe the party line for fear of expressing a different perspective. Jose Mourinho has aways, in a way, been an outsider...someone who came from outside the traditional football stable and made his own way, speaking his mind and doing things a bit differently. He is divisive, flawed, petulant at times and not everyones cup of tea but guess what? So are most elite coaches. In my humble opinion the game is better with him in it and I suspect he has one more club job in him before he heads off to the international arena. It would be fitting if that last club job was with Porto where it all started...or maybe CFC ( doubtful ). Just look at his record...its a remarkable body of work
