Looks lovely Paul, thank you so much. I’m Australian and I’ve been married to a Yorkshireman for 25 years - we live in sunny Brisbane, Australia. I’m baking this for him tomorrow to test it out for a Yorkshire themed dinner party we’re having at the end of February. I plan to make mini Yorkshire Curd Tarts for one of the courses and jazz them up a bit. I am deeply grateful to have this recipe from you because I know I can trust it. 🏴
Excellent I love the cakes love the ingredients and explanation I will prepare some thanks for sharing Paul ❤
I have to try it ! 🎉🎉🎉thank you Paul!
Miss you Paul!
I've never had a curd tard. It looks delicious. Thank you for sharing. 🎉
Muy sabroso me gusta, gracias Paul un abrazo grande a la distancia ❤
I love curd tarts. You haven't been able to buy curd in the supermarkets for years. I've never found any. I used to make the bero recipe so I used to buy cottage cheese instead, it always turned out lovely.
Yummy Paul❤
Yum my Love!😋👍💋
That tart looks amazingly delicious, I might add, you do too, Mr. Hollywood. 😉
Regional heritage...from Denmark ;)
The curds look more like soft cheese than curds. I made some yesterday and shall bake a Yorkshire Curd tart this afternoon.
What could be substituted for the curd? Thanks from Csnada.
That looks wonderful. Is "curd" similar to Mascarpone Cheese?
Question, a lady says she loves yorkshire Brackon in that the same a yorkshire Brack Tea loaf, please
Sorry, but curd in this tart should be proper lumpy curds, never a runny smooth mix, ever. Easy to make proper curds. Warm milk and add lemon juice. One quick stir.Once curdled, cool and then sieve through a clean tea towel, in a colander. I leave it overnight. lots of good recipes out there.
I agree never had a curd tart that was smooth it has to be crumbly.
So people in Yorkshire like tea and cakes.
Pretty much as does the rest of the UK.
You can always tell a #Yorkshireman but you can't tell him much!
,🥰😊
I'm sorry but it doesn't look anything like what I would describe as a Yorkshire Curd Tart, and yes I'm from North Yorkshire.
Completely agree, I’m from West Yorkshire. To me, it looks more like a custard tart with currants! Definitely does not look like the Yorkshire Curd Tarts I’ve eaten and known!
I’m from East Yorkshire and I agree, it should look like curd, lumpy and crumbly!
Parkins lots a sponge that lancashire parkin, in yorkshire it should have loads of oats reyt sticky bought parkin is always disappointing
Bizarre that food videos would be prefaced by commercials for deodorants, where you actually see someone applying it to their hairy armpit, talk about gross!
