Really good content but one small correction. We usually say "Quanto custa?" (How much?) when we ask for the price of a single item, such as a box of strawberries. When you are paying for multiple items at a checkout, and you want to know the price, we usually say "Quanto é?" (How much?).
For someone that is just starting, your pronunciation is quite impressing. Almost perfect. Don't worry too much with the genders. It would sound funny to us if you make a mistake, but we will understand you the same.
This was so helpful! I am trying to learn Portuguese for my upcoming trip to Portugal. I am going to watch this video a few times and take down the phrases. It was very helpful thank you!
Parabens Michelle! You did really well accent is good. What Liz was saying about the more you practice, the easier and more automatic it will be to express yourself. I just today learned an expression today to encourage people, "Tas quase, tu consegues". It means like you have got this, keep going!
Amazing!! I always enjoy these types of videos and see how fellow beginners are putting their portuguese into practice. Love this she did so so well🌟👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Nice video again thank you :) just to add that even though European Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese have their differences they are both easily understood by both native speakers.
Great job, Michelle. If Portuguese is your first foreign language, than it is really great, especially at the pronunciation level, after 4(?) months. Great channels, both Talk the Streets and Honeymoon Always
I love both your channels. 🤗This was so fun. Michelle, you did a great job! I feel like I could learn so much more quickly with you and Liz doing these videos. It was so accessible. Thank you ladies!! ✨🙏✨💕
Very interesting and helpful video! Definitely realize a trained ear, especially to understand the cost in euros expressed by the vendor for what is being purchased, will take time. Well done.
Your channel has been so helpful for me! I haven't had a chance to practice my Portuguese in quite some time. I'm going to be studying abroad in Germany next year. Would you happen to know of any channels similar to yours that focus on German language?
Hi. Love your videos. Just one suggestion. When filming on location, please do mention where it is filmed. I'd love to go to this market, for example, but I have no idea where it is.
Thank you, was able to tell my son who was being cheeky during my visit to Lisbon that I understood the gist of what he was saying. The look on his face was priceless! 😂😊🌸
Just been to the hardware store... oh my, ordered things, we'll see if they are correct . Asking for pipes, screws, taps, etc ok it's when the shop owner gave me a choice I was lost sometimes.
This would be my problem. Like the shopper in the video, I have been learning lots of phrases and could say all those things in the market, but would have no idea what they are responding. (especially when they are being friendly with "are you finished shopping" etc.) How to overcome that?
Uma coisa, não é "Olá péssoal". O "pe" não se diz como em "pêra", mas é fechado, it's almost like the sound "hm", I don't know how to explain it better.
Trading crypto now would be wise, but trading without a professional is really bad, I tried to trade alone, I completely lost a lot of money till I started trading with expert Brain Walter that is a nice broker
Woooo that man his good work has been everywhere. Been seeing a lot of good comments about him on several places. I feel more confident investing with him, I've been on the train for over two weeks now... best Broker for life
he is the best Broker, I have tried lots of professionals but only got exceptional income trading with Brian Walter he is the best strategy now earning over $15,300 every 10 days

This is just the beginning!! 💕❤️👏🏽
Great job Michelle! You sounded WAY smoother than I would have/will! :D

I really liked this video! She did a great job, and I’m excited to see her progress! Boa sorte 👍🏽
Eu realmente posso fazer isso também! 😀 Muito obrigado pelo video, Liz! 👍
It takes a LOT of courage to just jump in it like Michelle did, especially on film! Huge kudos to her - she'll speak Portuguese in no time :)
She sounds like me this past month while I was in Portugal .. it does get easier with practice
Thank you Dave!

Obrigada Ana!
You sound so confident
Great video! Trial by fire has been very helpful for me as well. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Wonderful! This is motivating and inspiring. Which market or part of town is this? It's beautiful - I love the markets in Lisboa and Porto.

Brilliant Liz🥰🥰🥰
I tried my basic Portuguese and my brother was puzzled (Olá irmão cómo está, tudo bem)
Thank you, was able to tell my son who was being cheeky during my visit to Lisbon that I understood the gist of what he was saying. The look on his face was priceless! 😂😊🌸
LOVE IT!!
Just been to the hardware store... oh my, ordered things, we'll see if they are correct . Asking for pipes, screws, taps, etc ok it's when the shop owner gave me a choice I was lost sometimes.
Obrigado/a, Liz Ychau 🤩🤩🤩❤️🇵🇹❤️
De nada John!
Obrigado=boy/man; obrigada=girl/woman!
Teacher you did not catch my mistake 🧐🧐🧐
Lovely video!
So glad you liked it! X
Pronunciate???:) I've heard someone say this twice in a week... Gary Neville was the other one.
I love Gary Neville

Fantastic video! Very helpful and practical!
Yay! Hope it helps you get what you need at the market!
Bem cara as coisas 😳 passei mau...
Do you have an opinion on a hand held translator to assist?
If it helps do it! Its like having training wheels on a bike, just make sure you challenge yourself to use it less as time goes on!
Who is the guy at 0:25?
5 Euros o Kilo, a Lima? :-O
💯
Obrigada!
