Maybe I am misreading your comment, but the comparison is the Tsar bomb to a piece of the sun's core the size of a house. So if the power of the "core of the sun" were shown, the Tsar bomb cube would not be visible. We have very very little power compared to the power of the sun.

It’s oddly ironic that if a sample of the sun’s core (probably the hottest thing in our solar system) were brought to earth, it would likely end with a small ice age. I get that it’s because the blast would sent material into the atmosphere, blocking the sun’s rays from reaching the surface, but still it’s weird to think about.

I love his videos. When I going Tennessee I watch his videos the hole way.
I always wonder how we know what the layers of any planet, moon or star looks like, because as far as I know, we haven't cut any planets in two yet
For planets, we can tell their masses and radii rather readily, and from that we can get their density. If we know the density of an object, we can figure out roughly what it's made of, and from there determine how those materials would naturally arrange themselves over time.
For stars, it's a case of fluid dynamics on steroids, essentially. That's just how a giant sphere of mostly hydrogen would behave under all the physics that we know.
