@@Offroader451-rm5jzYeah, I know your pain! Grew up driving fourties and fifties cars and trucks. No power anything, and some of those old trucks were twin sticks. At least those twin sticks taught you how to shift good, or give up trucking. And I never thought they drove terrible, they just gave you an interesting ride! Just the same as riding a frisky horse.
Man I can still Remember when I very first Started Driving. I learned own a Ford like that. It seems like a Night Mare now but I Appreciate those days 😂🤣 now. I have a Brand New Truck 😅😁😁😁
Reminds me of my 85 ram drove terribly but wasn't the most reliable at times either, considering i paid $500 for it, changed the bettery fuel pump aired the tires up and it literally drove out of its grave from a field that it had been sitting in for 13 years, it was win 😂😂😂
By that shift lever, I believe it is an Allison transmission. They thought it might revolutionize the trucking industry, but it took patience to get use to. I never drove one, but one fellow told me you just stood on the throttle until you got to the speed you wanted to be at. He said that if you lifted your foot, it would shift so hard that it would buck you out of the cab.
I was wondering if you can get some work on my b model Peterbilt for me how can I get in touch with you is there a way I can leave my contact information to have you reach out to me?????????????????????????

Better put that on a trailer if you want it to hit 88 MPH.
Thats a back to the future reference.
congrats on the new house!
I used to drive a 1976 Ford L600 I think, gas job that shook until the tires were warm and then it smoothed out
Reminds me of our school bus! 😂
If it caught 2nd and shakes when driving then it's basically new and ready to be a daily driver!
I’ve driven a 80s model L8000 with a Cummins and a 9 speed trans that was fun
You mean when it gets the 88 miles an hour you’ll see some serious shit! 😮😂😂😂😂😂
Love those old fords!!
A company I drove for had many Ford model L's and C's. They got the job done. Definitely not a Peterbilt!
the power of dentist fails
Nope, he remembered something years ago that neeeds to be changed. 😊
It's older than most of your viewers.
Ok Doc Brown. Just remember, you don't drive that you point it where you want to go.
I'm not sure it'll even do 88 downhill with a tailwind
If he can, it definitely has different rear gears than the ones that I drove.
Feed we the corn !
88mph? You got some steep hills around there I take it?
