Reloaded had the best Smith lines, in my opinion. I also really liked the touch on their different suit colors. While the normal agents had the greenish black suits (due to normal „matrix filter“), Smith had the blue/normal black suit color scheme to highlight that he was different right from the first scene in reloaded. He was also the first and only agent in the first movie to express any feelings or opinions. (I discount the „fear“ the other agents showed while running away from neo after he destroyed smith at the end of the movie) Really made him stick out.
What Smith does is not possession. It’s actually overwriting their “code” with his own. He’s copying himself onto his victims by altering their code to closely match his own. He carries their code within himself, which is how he can access their powers and abilities, and also escape into people’s bodies when he overwrites their avatars in the Matrix.
I would say that the first thing to remember is that all connected to the matrix are agents. (Re Morpheus). Thus Smith is essentially copying agents. Then we need to see that Smith is on a journey to becoming more human, as Neo is on his journey to becoming more machine.

"If a single smith is compromised..." I don't think that's correct. Every Smith copy was destroyed in the end because Neo re-wrote the code of Smith's final version (so to speak), the Smith copied over The Oracle's RSI.
I want to see when he first discovered his copying power. I like to think he went home and got into an argument with his wife, and when he went to grab her to stop her leaving, he accidentally clones himself and loses her, so he decides he will just idk take over the world

The only reason she’s still alive is because of Riki Nathan - A 16 year old boy with a mission. What mission? To be the most annoying asshole on earth Yeah, there’s gonna be lots of juicy infection scenes too. I get turned on by it too!
