Glorious angels in white summoning a savior to help them save the world and overcome the darkness. For Japanese, Christian themes are not religious per se, but cultural, the way we view Japanese memes such as Samurai warriors and Shinto shrines. I see this band as angels or superheroes, sent to save us from the darkness using only music as their weapon. Why not?

But it has a different cultural meaning. For example, in Tokyo and Shanghai you see huge holiday displays during the Christmas season, despite the fact that few people there are practicing Christians. It's just like we adopt some Japanese and Chinese cultural elements without becoming Buddhists or practicing Shinto. We find Ninja and Samurai imagery, or Tai Chi and Wushu "cool", without having been raised with the actual religious beliefs. Look at all the Asian martial arts imagery used in Western movies, without any reference to the underlying spiritual basis. It's all about people from different cultures mixing and sharing ideas, which I think is a good thing!
