Well it sounds like ya all should just allow kids to drive cars , by alcohol, cigarettes, gamble at the same age these people believe children should be allowed access to a handgun and ammunition, unfettere. It's a fine hobby???? This is what is wrong with this country. We aren't hunting to feed our families to keep them alive any more. The good fine movies and games and music aren't made up of references to hunting even a discernable amount compared to how much they reference murder ...with a gun. Driving is a fine hobby too. Do we hand a suicidal child keys to a car? When my son has struggles with mental health, he was around 30 years old, a father, been on his own, and I didn't allow him to drive my car because I felt a duty to protect him and others. I couldn't stop him from getting in any car, he's an adult, however, I wasn't going to be responsible for providing him heavy machinery when he was in a dark place. How any body with any humanity, empathy, responsibility, common sense could absolve these parents of culpability, is such a sad sad indication we are doomed and most people are too stupid to see that.
What’s sad is that this child murderer will be safer in jail than a snitch.
