Spain v Yugoslavia, Holland v France, England v Portugal, Spain v France, Italy v Holland, France v Portugal, Yugoslavia v Holland and even the final itself between France and Italy. On top of all the insane competitions, Zidane’s performances were absolutely wizard class. He was on his own level, but if any other player was playing close to his level at that time, it was Luis Figo. His performances at Euro 2000 for Portugal were just as influential as Zidane’s.
