    I think the first example can have two meanings (just a feeling)
    a) Did you work in last week? (any day; monday, tuesday, etc...) or
    b) Did you work last week? (meaning the whole week)
    Could you clarify teacher?

    Yeah, it's important to learn how to use English prepositions even though maybe it's a bit difficult to learn & get used to them.

    is that meaning some thing like command to some one as don't do it ?
    ex:,
    You are not to blame him
    You are not to hit him.

    You are not to take my pen.
    You are not to stay without coming.
    You are not to ask her to come.

    I can memorize these but i cant understant why?
    Because we can use both of shape in our main language.
    For example:
    We meet you this week
    Or
    We meet you in this week.
    But these details is not very important because of you now.

    You used a preposition in the eighth example; however, the sentence would work without the preposition if you didn't add in the specific time.
