I believe the number of stat slots is determined by RNG and the refiner talent about "stars". just conjecture though. so the actual most important stat to roll is... number of stats.
The slots are hard to explain over text. But simply weapon types are different. Fenix for example have 5 max while drako and ortez have 6. Random weapons rarely have full slots or durability. I'm guessing cause it's a freebie item. There more there to get stats or refine. There's much more to it but that's the jist of it.
What damage type bonus works for the "Special" category of weapons, like the Pipa or the Fan? They tend to have the Melee Damage Bonus, which seems weird.
@@Digital_Disco I think my question wasn't worded right. What damage bonus, aside from the generic "damage bonus", would benefit weapons like the Pipa? I don't know if it is typed as melee damage, ranged damage, or neither.
@@Rumaan3012 Its honestly not clear enough for me to be sure. I believe ranged applies to the xbows and melee applies to melee weapons, putting those weapons in a weird spot.

The weirdest ones tend to be power and bonus damage for the biggest increase, if I recall correctly
