Super helpful, I’m 2 weeks post a massive tear of the rotator cuff. My surgeon used 4 anchors. I would prefer live interaction. Emails are my 2nd choice. However, I have not received an email. I did visit site and responded “Yes”. Whatever you do, please continue. I have started physical therapy at home, 4 passive exercises. Please provide expectation on passive exercises, pain level, demonstrations. frequency. My .$.02. Respectfully, Billy

Hey Bill, Thanks for the comments. With that size of tear it is difficult to predict where your passive range of motion should be. Pain levels are really patient dependent. Some people do well with a large tear while others have horrible pain with just a little tear.

I appreciate the you tube videos and the emails. Forgive me if you have already done this, but maybe a vid or email giving further description of the recovery journal and the supplement for post op recovery. I am almost 4 months post long biceps repair and x2 rotator cuff tender repair, bursitis etc. Now have a date in October for the other shoulder 😐

Anna, thanks for the comment. I can do a video on that. I am trying to be careful, I want to help but don't want to be too "salesy" if that make sense. Good luck with surgery number 2!

My nerve block just started to wear off ..this being my 2nd op I never remember it being this awful. And is it common to have PT 24 hrs after the surgery?

Ahh, I just responded to your first post. PT is sometime ordered. It all depends on what your surgeon did and what their normal protocol is. Good luck Rosie!

I had surgery almost 5 months ago..I am still in so much pain. My surgeon said a lot of my muscle had atrophied, I had a full thickness tear and it was a bigger than normal repair. I cant handle the pain and I still cant lift it more than half way. I'm beginning to think that I will never have use of it without pain.

Avalon, I am so sorry that you are still in that much pain. Please consider going back to your surgeon or seek a second opinion.

@@rotatorcuffexpert I just saw him and he said "its normal ". He gave me a cortisone shot and told me to come back in 6 weeks, and recommended 8 more weeks of PT. I'm frustrated, and tired of hearing "it's normal", because I dont think it is. Thank you for responding. Your videos have helped so much with this whole process.

Hey Trend, 2 wks after shoulder surgery it is very common to still have pain. Especially in the front of your shoulder. Always a good idea to check with your surgeon. I would assume you have a post op appointment soon.
