The end boss especially looks like is missing mot of his animations.
played always and only on play japan, I am amazed by the graphic detail of this second version. a clear step forward compared to the mediocre first chapter.

Battle Arena Toshinden 2 (video game) is a weapon based 3D fighting game developed by Tamsoft. It was released for arcade in 1995 by Capcom, followed by ports to the PlayStation and PC. It is the sequel to Battle Arena Toshinden, and was a departure in that it was developed for arcade first, whereas the original had been console exclusive. Battle Arena Toshinden URA (full title Ultimate Revenge Attack) is a Sega Saturn specific sequel to Toshinden Remix (aka Toshinden S).

Being a Toshinden sequel specific to Remix, I was disappointed the terrible story mode didn't come back. Shit voice acting, but nostalgic as fuck.

Looks like a good game but man the player has no skill.. Spamming the fireball isn't skill.
VGMStudios33 iv played BATTLE ARENA TOSHINDEN 2 for the ps1 and i gotta say, the fighting is very bad!, the characters move slow as shit, you always need to jump to reach your opponent, there is NO such thing as a combo sistem, unlike Tekken 3 which came out on the same console it played better it looked better, but i really like the TOSHINDEN cast of characters they most of them were OK, others were baddass and others were pretty owful. Now its an OK game dont get me wrong, but i think the game that had a better fighting mechanic was Eternal Champions on the Mega Drive/Genesis and it predates this over what 3 years? I recoment you buy or emulate both games and Eternal Champions and compair each other to see which one is really better.
@@drewblackmatter6669 Have you ever played Toshinden 3? It actually implemented a true combo system and the hit detection is much better than those 2. It has a 60fps mode which strips the texture details in exchange for fluid combat that's closer to Tekken 2.
