I also made a Toshinden petition 3 months ago and for the big surprise here Tamsoft Corporation the company who made Toshinden games saw and liked my Toshinden petition :D My channel is all about Battle Arena Toshinden games, i'm a big fan of this Franchise and i know the games are far from perfect but i still love them anyway :) After all these years i still with the same opinion - Battle Arena Toshinden 3 remains the King game of this franchise
It was. The series itself always improved and evolved. Combat became faster, or they walled in the arenas, or had true combos. It was also flashy as hell. Lol. A beautiful series.
@They're trying to weaponize it true. The first two games weren't massively different, but the innovated a lot of changes in just a couple of months. Faster combat in 2 than in part 1, running dodge abilities, Overdrive attacks, etc. Between Toshinden and Toshinden 2, they realized they could haved done more. To me, though, Toshinden 2 had a totally different art style, which struck me as odd given their release timelines.
I didn't know any of these sequels existed after the original but 3 does look pretty cool. Looks like they tried to make it more complex, I see some efforts at parrying and juggles
The first one has the iconic soundtrack and the third one was a huge step up in every possible way - maybe because they could entirely ignore the other systems next to the ps1

This video has Ten Count! 👍 I never knew BAT had a puzzle game! Shame the Wii game is virtually unrecognizable as a Toshinden title. The early games had great OSTs.

@Kefla Yes but actually No, they aren't 100% clones, Toshinden 1 is good game but still behind of Toshinden 3 even in vote poll The third one has the best gameplay by far
@Kefla I agree. Ten Count was clearly a rip off of Michael Jackson and Zola was clearly a rip off of Catwoman from the Batman franchise. If tamsoft/takara were going to give each default character his/her own sub boss then they really shouldn't have tried to rip off famous pop stars or Batman villains because it just reeks of a lack of originality in my opinion.

BAT 2 was the bomb! I killed the game with awesome combos! I played Ellis as my main.
Toshinden 3 remains the king game of the franchise also the most fun one to play ever
