All my working life I was a screen printer. Before I retired I owned a company that did, among other things, large format screen printing. Watching this video brings a tear to my eye. I now realise that screen printing is virtually obsolete. If I was still in business, I would have gone down the digital route by now. No more stencils, messy, smelly inks and cleaning up of massive screens. I started off in 1968 working for W.P. McCormick, the inventor of arguably the first practical screen printing machine. Oh how times change. We would never have been able to produce the quality of todays digital. I would love to see one of these machines in the flesh.
