Caitlin Canty's Gibson Recording King Guitar brought me here to see Brittany's work on fiddle. I had a fiddle so good all you had to do was touch it - and it sang out the most beautiful "history" I've ever heard... it was a real gospel Bluegrass fiddle from the mountains at least 120 to 150 years old . Beautiful Work Guys...I leave Brittany a yellow rose of friendship 🙋♂️ PS the upright bass was fantastic
Soooo wonderful and good recording for a change. Thanks for posting! Saw them in Groton recently (minus Dominick) and they just blew everyone away. I thought Molly & GH, Bela and whomever, and Sierra H and her band could not be touched, but Hawktail adds a new dimension.
Let's be clear (having just discovered you.) THIS IS GREAT MUSIC!!! I can only hope you are attracting the following that you deserve. And Brittany's playing? It's like the morning, when the birds are singing . . . (so beautifully).
wonderful....thank you........perhaps a pay live stream in the future so as to experience it live when one cannot be there in person........one can dream................
@@thaddeusk4230 As I live in Nashville, I get to see them, collectively and individually, on a regular basis. I was referring to the festival as a pay live stream.......
These guys taking over where Crooked Still left off, I'm lovin' it! I'm hoping that maybe in the next life I can get a date with Brittany. She is SO good. PS: ANY chance you could come over & do a UK tour?
I think the tune about 30 minutes in could be heard as a beautiful piece of classical music . . . I don't suppose you folks have ever connected up with an orchestra? Anyway -- very fresh and remarkable!!
Just discovered this band and I think they are pretty wonderful . . . however, I wish they would add one more musical element -- either vocals or a banjo, for instance? But what they are doing seems to be really interesting, creative and beautiful. Still, listening at this moment, about 20 minutes in, I'd like to hear a woman's voice with the instruments. (Yes, I love Crooked Still.)
Ethereal one moment, than fiery the next. They really have no idea as to how much their fanbase loves this music.. Beautiful string music in a loud world. Where you seeing them on the upcoming tour? And if so, with Aiofe?

Thanks!
This is some the finest music there is. Thank you LTF!! I was there, but it is nice to relive the joy whenever I want!
Thanks for watching George!
This is killer. Just found yet another band to put in my rotation! Remind me of Grant Gordy..playing in that vein, but yet uniquely theirs.

By the way, I discovered this band because I wanted to hear more of Brittany Haas. Not disappointed!! Blown away, in fact, and very moved.
Not really impressed,Just because you like a girl doesn’t make the band worth a cr*p. I wouldn’t be standing up for this one brother. No offense.

PS: Sort of 'avant garde bluegrass'!!

Paul really is like a second coming of Edgar Meyer
The first coming of Paul Kowert. And it's a doozy.
