The Watchhouse approach to bluegrass is the polar opposite of the traditional lightning fast licks and full throated harmonies- a kind of high ‘n’ lonesome sound that sneaks under your skin and raises some serious goosebumps! Andrew’s songwriting and delivery are truly incomparable.
It is refreshing to hear real music at a tempo that is so listenable. To hear real talent as a group and pull out the individuals, just good music. By obviously good people.
I'd say they're getting sooo good, but they've been for years now. Really hope they get out here again soon. Beautiful capture. Mix. Vid. Merci beaucoup! ☮🐉👁
I wasn't paying attention but the yputube algorithm played this and I didn't have my spec on so I didn't pay much attention until they started singing and my head shot up and of course the telecaster man played and there we are, it was Watchhouse.

I totally enjoy them, but it is not traditional bluegrass music. I much prefer this type of music myself. George in Montana
@deblane401 yeah I don't know about these folks (new to me) and this sounds great. It ain't bluegrass though... not even a little bit.
Saturday morning, a cup of coffee, and Watchhouse...

Nice.
Music with passion...So sensitive. Song for eternity.
Wonderful!
Definitely very original stuff here. Beautiful Composition/Writing and sweetness in song seldom heard.
Lovely work as usual. Keep on truckin'!
Shades of Arlo Guthrie!!😲👍
I'm gonna tell my kids this was Die Antwoord
Is the Marlin family growing a little more? 🙂
I was wondering the same thing. Emily sure seems happy up there.
Is that the same girl from mandolin orange??
This is literally Mandolin Orange. They changed their name to something way more boring, for some unknown reason.
They explained it. 'Mandolin Orange' was a meaningless filler name that they got stuck with. 'Watchhouse' meant something to Andrew.
