    Wear and tear and operator error, failure to properly research your purchase, all of those items are on you as a buyer. I am not sure the point here.

    So because of some discomfort in the seats, noisy cup holder, rattling speaker, and not enough RGB = ownership nightmare? lol. Like you said at the end, car is fantastic and what you mentioned are MINOR issues, no car is going to be perfect. If you're going to keep the car long term, an aftermarket tune would remove the rev limiter. 034 Motorsports is right down the street from ya ;)

    Thanks for the positive greeting. Now let's get serious, this is not something people care about. Let's start from the wheels:
    1. Audi has a plethora of different models of wheels for you to choose from, you can also go after markets like BBS, MOMO, and tons of other brand names out there to make the car look cooler.
    2. The seats are made to be that way and designed to keep you in the seat while taking highspeed turns, I own an RS5 2023 and the sits look fantastic, I believe the lubricant you use for the seat makes the leather material soft therefore will stretch and look that way.
    3. The Armrest, this car is to be driven holding both hands on the steering wheel, I am 6.2FT tall and I prefer to be sitting as low as possible in my car, I won't rest my arm in the window, I need to feel the traction and the direction of my car. Of course, those are preferences. Yes is bumpy, RS5 and mainly most of the RS and S series are bumpy and things may need some extra attention
    4. To prevent the phone from overheating, there are some products in the market where you can rest your phone elevated in the charging station Audi offers and keep the phone from overheating. It is an Apple Issue.
    5. I don't mind the breakfast on the wheels if it's stopped, i dont mind at all. When you use performance drilled & slotted brake rotors expect to see lots of dust.
    6. Last but not least, the overall issues with the RS5 are zero to none, I much rather have a noise cupholder than an engine issue that you see in the majority of other car brands, The RS5 is an awesome car and brings in the table all the needs from every user group.

  • @curtdragon
    @curtdragon 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    LMAO come on bro.. wheels? You bought them. Buy another set, no car manufacturer is going to be able to put anything on a car that everyone likes. Curbing them? Any car dude. Color? You bought it that color. Bolster issues? Don’t but the extra sport version of a car lol. The other stuff valid gripes, and under warranty can get fixed. As for the wireless charging, it sucks for every car unfortunately. Nightmares lol

      Yeah I agree I have a B9 S4 (Prestige trim or no go!) as my winter beater and it's a great all around car. If Hondas had serious performance and refinement that's really what Audi delivers. A practical car but also a strong contender in many other out of scope categories. No over the top styling but still sexy AF. Etc.
      I have a BMW E64 for the summer for sheer speed and performance and a Quattroporte (yes with the F139) for the performance luxury saloon rides over distances etc. I don't shop in either of those or go through the carwash and have to worry where I park and on and on... GREAT cars and turns heads can take to shows etc.. nowhere near as common as an S4... Store winters b/c high HP and rear wheel drive. No winter driving is even possible.
      BUT... when you make a huge list of things to grade a car with, the S4 can go down the whole list. Those other two cars have to cross off a lot of items b/c they simply don't apply at all.

    Sorry if this is a dumb question, but over the dozen cars I've owned, they were all NA and I've always done my own fluids and general driveway care, brakes/rotors/water pumps/belts/plugs.
    If I buy one of these, is any of that still reasonably possible? I guess I'm most curious about any added steps to an oil change in a twin turbo.

      @Wayn3z mate for sure great driving car. Even with the motor placement. Decent build quality too though still some minor annoying things. I think most annoying for me is the moonroof, still haven’t figured it out but my guess it’s the liner around the light rather than the actual moonroof. It’s a lot worse when you driving the car hard but seems like it’s an a5 lineup build line issue. Funny enough was also partly considering an s5 sportback but decides to go full send with the rs 😅

    I have a 2yr old RS4 and Yes Audi have issues. Interior rattles (Dash and door) that drive me mad. Creaking driver seat. Both sorted with silicone grease and sound deadening tape.
    Ride is firm. But it's a performance car.
    Gloss interior/exterior panels look scratched. Can be sorted with a polish such as meguiars ultimate compound.
    Find me any car that doesn't have issues and I'll find you rocking horse shit.

    @DMCarReviews 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I got to drive the new RS5 a few weeks ago on some trips. I could not be in those seats for more than a few hours, they are so tight and exhausting, on top of the super stiff ride. I had an S5, an it was similar, but much softer on the suspension which helped. It's a great driving car and has good power, but I wish they made the ride smoother. Possibly with the base rims it isn't that stiff.

    • @antonio_medici
      @antonio_medici  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Any M is definitely a more raw of a car that would be funner in certain driving situations. But new gen RS is a well rounded refined product. Aesthetically appealing & just overall is a great total package. For me, when you are choosing a car especially if it's your one and only daily, it comes down to not solely fulfilling a functional checklist but also it needs to match your energy & personality. So decide for yourself but I think on the used market they are great value. Nowadays I'd look at a pre-facelift 2019 model if you are okay with it. The only reason I personally went with a new car is because I bought mine during the recent market madness and the stretch from used was insignificant.

    Here are some actual nightmares of cars I own.
    B9 S4 - Rocker arm assembly - catastrophic engine failure (preventable with money)
    BMW E64 - Premature rod bearing wear - catastrophic engine failure, Vanos line failure same result (preventable with a lot of money NOW. Wasn't possible a while back)
    Quattroporte S (with the Ferrari F139 engine) - Variator issue - catastrophic engine failure (preventable with a pain in the ass tooth pull with Maerati to get the parts kit $3,900)
    Those are "ownership nightmares"
    What you have is a car you own that is issue free. You're essentially citing build quality.

    Ok… you made a video for that, so why you didn’t choose an american car then? Maybe you would have 10 times more complains. Mustangs are beautiful, but there is no comparison in term of design and quality. Your Audi has a 5 stars interior and exterior, no doubt about it!!. No cheap plastic, superior leather quality, and a « German savoir-faire » that most of the american and japanese cars cannot achieve. You have too much dust on brakes? Why not choose the ceramic brake then? I can tell you it’s much better,! You complained about the alloy wheels? So why you didn’t choose other Audi Sport models? For your other issues, go to Audi dealer if the car is under warranty. There is no 100% satisfaction as you said. But I can tell you, after having my third Audi RS, you should consider yourself lucky to be part of this club… You are driving one of the most sophisticated and powerful car Audi has ever made. So I don’t find this video very useful… Sorry to be honest.
