Bro…..the friggin nostalgia but the funny thing is this is the first SMG4 video I ever watched (with no knowledge of the characters aside from Mario) I had no idea who SMG4 SMG3 tari meggy and all the non Nintendo characters where I didn’t understand what was going on but I was laughing my ass off at the first few seconds of the episode and ever since I watched every SMG4 video and will continue watching till the end so thanks SMG4 for making my life a lil better!.

I like how when smg3 attacked belle for talking back to him, the entire anti-squad stared angrily at him (except whimpu because he is physically unable to be angry and melony because melon). Even anti-shroomy, who is literally a demonic and destructive entity of chaos, was upset at smg3. This team cares for one another, like the normal crew, but unlike the normal team, smg3 doesn't care for them. Smg4 sees the crew as friends, smg3 sees them as tools.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand old SMG4. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Mario's dumbass outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Old TH-cam poop literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE.
