I find it funny that while Dryya uses her fairly small nail with both hands, Ze'mer wields her absolutely massive nail as if it were as light as a feather
@@forkgodsdescendant2503 Honestly I felt like Hegemol has the best animations of the bunch. It's difficult to get something that big to move easily but it feels like his motions are rather fluid and normal.
It's not a music drop, it's an entirely new piece. If you listen at the end of phase one, the music actually cuts out. There's a pause. And the new track starts when the second phase starts.
@@troytab6089 I know! I was talking about how the second phase's track intro at 0:25 is a build up for when the big attack at 0:38 happens exactly at the drop of the intro part in the track.
IF this form of Ze'mer was actually the one that shows up in-game, I would have no doubt that she could kick Pure-Vessels butt in a one-on-one fight. She swings one of, if not the largest Nail we've ever seen around with one hand like it's a paperweight! In my personal headcannon she could have maybe even trained Pure Vessel to fight specifically with the nail in the first place.
They did a great job with this fight, but... I really really would have liked to see their take on the Pale King as a kind of Radiance-esque final boss to the pantheon.
I don't think the Pale King is a fighter in lore. He's powerful, but if he had godlike COMBAT power, then why would he need the Five Great Knights? Or armies? Or the Watcher Knights? I think, when he she'd his wyrm body and became the Pale King, he became entirely focused on leadership, not combat.
I thought the final boss would be the pale king not a harder zemer but it's fine Imagine if after beating zemer in the pantheon tiso appear as the true final boss
Some tips: If you hang to the wall at the beginning of each phase you can avoid the first 2 attacks. You can parry zemer’s sword shield to not take damage at the part in which it encircles her. After zemer does the vertical moving strike attack you have to shadow dash through, she will always do her sword throw or forward dash. Forward dash is always telegraphed by a “demos” from the boss Any other tips? I am REALLY struggling with this boss.
She always dashes after the first big slash but can do any move after the second, unless she does two big slashes rapidly, in which case the dash comes after the second. The telegraph between a dash and leap is very similar so I usually jump and try to parry the leap (not always successfully, but I'm reasonably consistent). Anytime she does a dive attack she's going to dash but it might be the rapid 5-6 dashes move (I generally just assume she's always going to do it). In late P2/P3 after a sword throw she often does the smaller slash beam move, so generally do 1-2 hits and double jump the beam (single jump doesn't get enough height). There's probably more but that's what I remember right away. Good luck with the fight!
I noticed that the telegraph for the dash and the leap were almost identical, but for the leap, she says a voice line before she does it, and for the dash, she says "demos" after she does it.
She's really quick but there are tells for attacks and some of the braver folks parried even more attacks than I did. I made a ton of mistakes learning the fight but once things start clicking you start seeing how to react and get some hits off.
There was a moment, when just one parry covered THREE hits in a row. An incredibly short row. That's both impressive and scary because of how incredibly fast she is...
Keep in mind the first time I fought her I did die and then practiced attuned until I could consistently win. My CC clear only took a few tries but I had practiced the overworld fights until I got a radiant/nail only win on them as well.
