So yes Hannah it is East Hight, the series takes place at the original East High. These kids are the "next generation" after the original cast. Their drama/theater teacher decides to put together High School Musical production. Throughout the TV series they're preparing for the production and just having a good time in high school.

So yes Hannah it is East Hight, the series takes place at the original East High. These kids are the "next generation" after the original cast. Their drama/theater teacher decides to put together High School Musical production. Throughout the TV series they're preparing for the production and just having a good time in high school.

AND every actor sang all these songs live on set. they pre-recorded them but according to the director, Tim Federle, they always ended up going with the live take. every single time.
this show is about students who go to the school where High school musical was filmed and they are doing a play on High School Musical now but there is a bunch of drama outside of the show and in the play with the characters you should defiantly watch the series!

this show is about the students who attend the school where high school musical is shot. the drama club teacher decides for them to do the play of high school musical to kind of embrace that the school is where it was shot. nina (olivia) gets gabriella and ricky (josh) gets troy.
