Thank you very much for the help and advice on cleaning the control panel correctly on my alarm. I wouldn’t have known if it wasn’t for you, so once again thanks.🙏🏻. Bless you.
I learned how to do this today after my repair man change my keypad with sticky keys. I’ve changed several keypads over the years and now I realize I was wasting my money. So I kept the keypad that he removed, cleaned it and ready for next time live and learn. Lol
Is there anywhere can I purchase just the silicone keypad? Some of the numbers rubbed off on my keypad (prob from hand lotion). My keys are also sticking so I’m going to try your fix that you showed here. Thank you for this!

Thank you! ADT wants to upgrade my system at cost to me, nope, I'm going to keep this running as long as possible. Appreciate the guide!
Thanks. I've never sen this done before.
Ya, it's just one of those things you run into out in the field you do not see too often.
Check the new video !!! fun stuff
Thank you so much. Yes what I was looking for.
Glad it was helpful!
do i have to turn off the alarm system prior or is it safe to just do one of the keypads while the system is active, not armed but on
Yes, It will be fine to clean the keypad with others connected and powered up. But not when its armed

Sorry,, but you would have to replace the entire keypad, they do not make individual parts for the keypads
What about turning off electricity first - are these "live" wires?
yes, its live 12vdc, yes you can turn off power 1st if you like but the 12vdc will not hurt you.
