IDK why people get annoyed that PHD isn't on Die Rise its not like if you have it you wouldn't hit a death barrier and you have to actively try to die to fall damage in actual areas.
I believe it’s both about the lack or PhD and the lack of integrated design. So basically there should be less death barriers and more landable areas. Also why does it have the boring ass sweatshop area, almost vaguely racist now that I think about it. Like we’ve got this Asian themed map and need one more “biome” oh yeah a sweatshop everyone knows Asians and sweatshops are two peas in a pod. My only issue is it’s fuckin boring on an otherwise fairly attractive map
It’s not dying to fall damage that gets people. They don’t wanna be swarmed and have no health as soon as they hit the floor. Imagine your training a bunch of zombies and one spawns in a weird place forcing you to relocate, then while moving you fall off a ledge and take some damage, you are then a 2 shot to any zombie and if your on like round 50 any small minor mistake that you make costs you ur run. That’s the only reason phd flopper is a must on die rise🙏🙏
As a purely casual zombies player this is interesting. The things we look for in a map are wildly different as someone who just runs around until I die maps like Town are more fun because they are a lot easier to just jump into and play.
Ya, it's a hyper Zombies nerd opinion. They don't see the value in basic maps due their insane amount of time put into it. Can't really blame them at that point haha
@@1stKills if zombies isn't your main thing, then the survival maps are great for a session or two every now and again. People like Zombies TH-camrs main the mode (obviously haha), so they would never really touch those maps beyond trying them out once or twice when they are released

@@vryyyxthat’s true but there is also a fun simplicity in Town. Very easy to just play without thinking too much. It’s hard to figure out maps like shadows of evil. Especially with all the rituals, and beast transformations. Town is just a fun simple arcade experience which has its merits. I enjoy it, even though it is simple.
True, it put me off for so long because I thought it was completely different to the original zombies I was used to but after becoming obsessed with it last summer I see what all the hype is about
Absolutely true. At launch, I never played it. I got into def eisendrache and the rest, but basically ignored shadows. After picking BO3 back up again last December, I became obsessed with shadows. WHAT A FUN MAP!
I definitely played town the most with my friends after school because it's just your classic survive map with all the perks you need and pap. One of us training down on the streets while the others camped near quick revive...lots of fun runs!

For me it was bus depot. I'm not even really sure why I think the idea of only having 1 life is a challenge I welcome and whenever I play by myself I find myself getting a little better everytime
That’s very true. Most of my memories of being absolutely sick of zombies but unable to accidentally die are Kino. It’s probably just the boring dreariness of the map design, look at ascension which is one of the easiest maps OAT doesn’t have that issue nearly as bad

Just gonna suggest again: Buried the “Texas Red” Challenge. You can only use pistols, shotguns, bolt-action, and MUST get the Bowie Knife. No traps or buildales allowed. Perk order focuses on speed (stamin up, speed cola, and double tap come first as you’re the fastest gun in the West), with juggernog dead last. Figured this would be a unique challenge for ya Tim.
Do a ranking on the zombies mode itself, like which one you like playing the most, has the best mechanics, introduced the best perks, had the best maps, etc.

IX is an example of a map done right imo. I got BO4 in a bundle with my PS4 and didn't know what to expect. The arena area is such a good spot for training zombies and between the challenges to earn yourself a PaP'd pistol for free and all the weird easter eggs was pretty great. Not to mention the crowd reactions added a whole new layer

The only real flaw with die rise is having to wait for the elevators. You don’t need to know *how* to jump because all the jumps are the same, just sprint and jump in one direction and you’re set for all the ones you’ll need. I find for most people it’s a problem of *when* to jump and generally not knowing the map, resulting in a zombie hitting them mid-jump and falling to their deaths. Quite an easy map if you know what you’re doing, free perk every 5 rounds, trample steam to ease mobility and also kill zombies. Not to mention some pretty good wallbuys, PaP and jugg in fairly convenient locations (much better than other maps) and the best skybox in zombies.
I agree. I occasionally re-download black ops 2 just to play Die Rise and no other map. Die rise is too thight and split for a group, but you have just enough space to train zombies alone, also the sliquifier can help you do some camping. It has possibly the easiest training room ever, so the only problem will be sparingly using ammo with sliquifier, even if I just jump off after 40 rounds because I get bored. Who's who has an awesome jingle but it sucks, it would be much better if it would let you keep the effects of juggernog and quick revive to revive yourself faster and train zombies more easily. I don't mind the lack of Phd, I never used that perk in general
Die rise is one of my favorite maps. I find it so much more fun that the perks are random and the elevators are slow as well as the jumping being dangerous. It just makes zombies so much more challenging and fun to me. You have so much more to worry about than just the zombies. You have to actually think about how you’re going to traverse around the most efficient way. It’s just great. ( personal opinion)
die rise is probably my favorite bo2 map. it's far less of a chore to get setup on than mob and origins but isn't nearly as boring as tranzit and buried for high rounds. the shit people complain about when it comes to die rise just sounds like whining. i personally find origins to be obnoxiously tedious and the mud in the bo3 version is infinitely more annoying than fucking up a jump or missing an elevator on die rise. i'm of the opinion that zombies peaked with bo1 and has been going downhill ever since.
I’ve grown to like Five for the most part. I recently came to find out that doing this map on solo gives me a relatively easy tactic of running around the war room while a massive horde of zombies are trailing behind you. I’d use my sprinting sparingly in the beginning of higher rounds when some zombies are approaching ahead of me and quickly burst past them. So long as I had the right type of rapid fire guns &/or the Wolf’s Howl, it makes for a decent hit & run tactic for me at least.
I played yesterday, 2 players. I played with a random who stayed in the pack a punch room keeping the windows closed and I stayed in the corridor next to it killing the zombies that came towards us. We did 25 rounds cause he lost connection and I got trap as a consequence. Probably the first time I ever go beyond round 15 on this map
I have played COD zombies ONE TIME with my friends in high school. They took me into IX and gave me some of the greatest fun memories I’ve ever had in gaming as a whole. “A contender calls the champion of ____!”
I love how in call of the dead it has arguably one of the worst wonder weapons in zombies but ironically is literally the only way possible to go high rounds Ladies and gentlemen: the VR-11
Gorod Krovi, ancient evil and ascension are some of my favorites. Zombies is such an enjoyable game. It’s so simple at face value and it can get so deep with its incredibly crafted story. Man I love zombies. I also miss it too :/
I love these lists!!! It really goes to show that for zombies, BO3 REALLY nailed things, not only 3 amazing originals maps but then just spoiled the fans with the remaster of the previous gen maps in a rather late DLC pack along with the remaster map The Giant which was made even easier with the BO3 rebalance of guns and perk mechanics. Seriously anyone who likes zombies and doesn't have BO3. pick it up.
The only thing it was missing was a Buried, Nuketown, and Mob remake. The three maps on BO2 that people actually really liked (besides Origins but it was added).
This is probably gonna sound nuts but gobble gum as a system drove me nuts and was confusing. Didn’t like the gambling aspect didn’t like how many existed especially with the most mediocre benefits. Which partially ruined bo3 for me, even though I coulda just never used them
@theguycisterninoyelledat6272 you can't make the claim that any map is "objectively bad" because that is a completely subjective opinion... you can disagree with opinions and thats fine... but if someone says that they think die rise is a good map, there's literally no objective standard by which you could tell them they are objectively wrong... literally everything about what you think makes a map "good" or "bad" is completely subjective... for example you could say that the verticality of die rise makes it a bad map because its annoyingly difficult, and I could counter and say that the verticality makes it a good map because it presents a challenge that I find fun.
If this gets top comment I will do the zetsubou ee without gobble gums (besides anywhere but here obviously) edit: alr I’m doing it lol Edit 2: I died because of shitty rng trying to get the plane cog, progress is doing well! Also love ya Tim Okay ACTUAL FINAL EDIT: I can’t make a video on this since im on xbox and make videos on mobile, I can record my gameplay sadly, I can only post clips but even those suck
Though I do not agree to 100%, obviously. Your list still persists 111% respected by me. As you make everything SO CLEAR that the amount of quality that's been put into these very different but so very beautiful maps, is the absolute definition of what made the zombies gamemode so thrilling, inspiring, nostalgic ans just so much fun of an experience. Thank you Tim for the quick reminder as well as giving your perspective on the maps. Much love!
Isn't it funny how we all just keep watching the same videos for the past several years just because we cant let go of something we love, which is definitely old fashioned and we should probably let go.
Yeah I've kinda let go since, sure I still like to hear about it and still play the old maps. They just don't make it the way they used to, so in that sense I've given up hope lol.
Even though I understand they’re all barebone, Diner/Bus Depot aren’t on the same level as Verrukt or Nacht in my opinion but I respect you putting yours out there and I enjoyed the watch!
So let me get this straight the reason that most zombie maps are lower on the ranking is due to them being hard or ever whelming but the minute you reach the bo3 maps that consensus geos out the window ?
It’s not possible for something like this to be purely objective, so I’m not sure what you are looking for. I think he’s trying to get across the point that he’s not ranking them purely on which maps he prefers, but is trying to base it on somewhat consistent criteria that isn’t just “I have more fun playing this one”
@@AURush95the problem I have with it is that people are ignoring objective and subjective. “People don’t like this, so it’s objectively bad.” That’s not what objective means. As soon an emotions are expressed it becomes subjective.
This video’s making me realize how different some people’s opinions can be on zombies. There are some wild placements on here like Zetsubou at number six, but hey as long as you enjoy what you’re playing then who am I to object.
Buried at 16 is so absurd when this is literally where zombies begins if you know the timeline. Plus just the uniqueness of this map omg. It has Leroy for christs sake.
so happy that I was being able to grind bo2 and bo3 zombies with the boys. high rounds, eastereggs and reaching lvl 1000 back in the day. witnessing prime zombies first hand was so amazing before our gaming group fell apart
Zetsubou’s ambience, music, and setting are what makes it one of my personal favorites. When you load into the map and just take in everything and chill it’s so good and the skull room music takes you to another dimension. Very well deserved ranking.
I’m so hurt seeing the hate on blood of the dead, to me I find the Easter so cool even tho it is preettty challenging and the cut scene🥹 and the enlargement on mob of the dead aaaaand the graphics to me it’s slightly too difficult but it’s so good
shadows of evil will always be my favorite map, its literal perfection, the atmosphere, the gameplay, the map design, i've replayed it so many times and it never gets boring
I would honestly want see you rank non treyarch some time when you play the majority of them. I myself would want to do a retrospective of my favorite out of all of them which is iw. And with the final map ranked as Der Eisendrache I would honestly agree. De made so many things simpler so that you can setup without juggling the main basic like power and the wonder weapons. The bows add a more dynamic and honestly fun map where you can survive until you reach the max round or your game crashes. The transportation of the map with the jump pads also adds a more easier transportation than the god awful tranzit. And the keeper boss battle being the first ever adds a challenge when you finish the Easter egg.
At this point, I don't even care that it takes Tim a month or two to create a video. This is because, he's going through life, and needs time for certain things, so Tim, take as much time as you need, because every-single one of your videos is entertaining, funny, cool, etc. Keep it up, Tim.❤
Thank you Tim for not using the BS excuse of "Oh, well the devs didn't know how to properly make a zombies map, so objectively speaking the WAW Maps are mid-tier because they started the zombies franchise" and actually putting them where they belong; in the bottom of the tier list. Also seeing zets at #6 is fantastic! I'm glad someone with this much rapport in the zombies community recognizes how amazing Zetsubou is after you get good at it!
How is that a BS excuse… they’re definitely not the best maps but the feel of the maps give that zombies horror vibe to them. Verruckt to this day is still the freakiest map imo, Nacht has to get SOME credit because it DID start the franchise, like it or not. Shi is alright but Der Riese is always gonna be top tier. Yes they were limited & compared to what we have today (OBVIOUSLY) but putting nuketown remasters above the classics is a *sin* in my opinion.
@@adamxskg Think of it like this; if I were to ask you to rate the driving experience of every car (not the look, the feel) and rank them, nobody in their right mind would put cars from the 50s and 60s anywhere above low tier because their engineering was poor. Same with zombies; the engineering of the WaW maps is very subpar according to today’s standards. WaW maps just don’t play well in general.
@@VoiidAsp There's one problem with this though. The WaW ones were simple. The newer maps and such are very hostile to casual players or new players. I don't like playing treasure hunt for a specific thing to do something within the map, that can't already have used the money system like buying doors, or turning the power on and have characters vocalize what to do instead of hitting the wiki. One could argue that the car analogy isn't quite right either. Many modern new cars are bloated with many buttons and gadgets that makes it intimidating to many people. Cars from the 50s and 60s you could just put the key in and go like any other from that time. Not all, but most were more user friendly. Some cars nowadays won't even come with oil dipsticks, or a way to open the hood unless you want to void your warranty, and nobody in their right mind could call that "better" because it takes out a key step in an owners due diligence to make sure it's still road worthy and safe for the driver and passengers. Engineering was not per say "poor" back then either. Less technology advanced, yes, but not poor on the engineering aside from a handful of models. I can say that objectively a 94 nissan hardbody is better than a 2022 silverado for the simple fact that the bloated technology makes it objectively worse than the nissan. The Silverado thereof had a problem causing "limp mode". Look into it when you get the time. You cannot call that a workhorse if that or anything else happens that heavily takes away the actual uses of what the vehicle was designed to do....even if they wanted it to break down on you to extract more cash from the consumers. He has his reasoning for sure, but I think this is still from a specific perspective. Simplicity can go a long way, and rating the maps based on how much content they have would put Tranzit at number 1, or Moon or Shadows of Evil there. We know that's not true. Same for his low ranking of the WaW maps. He didn't even bring up the fact that the original Nacht has a different zombie AI that is quite different. It made it much more tolerable being in CQB. I agree with his Bus Depot placement because it's just a section from a much bigger and worse map, and kept "remasters" out of the bunch for the sake of the list not being too bloated with copy pastes. But with WaW maps, they are just cut up sections of the campaign. But nearly everyone can understand what to do and essentially complete what there is to do, while seeing how far you can get.....which is an entire point of zombies that seems forgotten nowadays. Kino is a timeless example. Simple enough that anyone can hop on, intriguing enough for hardened players, and can be replayed over and over, while not have you questioning if "thing A" could have been left out, or added in. I can say that in SoE. Like wtf are these bugs and aliens doing in a zombie shooter? How the hell do I open this door? Why can't this power be turned on? Why do the guns look like they vape and drink cyberpunk monster? It's not like the character monologs help with that. In MotD, the characters make that apparent, and they actually built a map that made the objective clear for most people to hop in. Sure MotD is still on the technical side, but it's not that hard since it is mimicking an actual irl event, but with a plane and has been a story cliché for a long while that most can relate or understand....unlike the Apothicons and Dark Aether storyline that requires a dregree in archeology. I'm still not saying that the WaW ones are S tier, but I'm not going to say they are F teir either. They are the good, no extra hidden fees gameplay good. Story relevance shouldn't be a concern for teir listing because it's not the main goal of the gamemode. You play multiplayer to kill other players, not work together on your team to find out the mysterys hidden within the map that could be related to the other maps to unlock a temporary camping spot after finding the 7 golden rocks and putting them in a garden to give out a killstreak because that's the story how Billy Bob saved Hawaii from WW4 fallout because the last map in the lineup hinted that Billy Bob was the chosen one or some shhh..... all while still fighting the other enemy team players. It's just not that simple to rate the CoD Zombies maps because it's apples, oranges and some dragon fruits we are looking at.
I personally liked bus depot it’s a deserved 30 or lower but last place I think is too low me and my friends would play this and town whenever we wanted a quick game cause we couldn’t afford any of the other maps
0:36 do a ranking based on how much they introduce. Example would be that the gaint (bo3) would be in F tier because it didn’t do introduce anything and a map like tranzit would be in s tier for introducing stuff like buildables, new characters, a new boss, and super easter egg, a wonder weapon, a bunch of guns, lava, new transport second use building spots and double pack a punch ( yes bo2 has double pack on the maps except origins and mob). Edit: you could also do one on challenges and based on how hard they are with stuff like the alphabet challenge (you use a gun that has the same letter/ number as the round) being like A or B and 1 box and 1 wall gun being like F or E
As someone who has only played BO1, BO2, BO4, and Cold War, I'm glad to see I had a decent assortment of maps. IX was very enjoyable, Kino was endlessly replayable, and I love getting a little masochism in with Town and Tranzit. Who knows, maybe BO6 is in my future.
I’ve been playing a lot of bo1 zombies recently and remembering what a genuinely great game it is. Five deserves to be higher. I could train the 2nd floor and get to a ridiculously high round if I had the patience. Biggest downside is that the winters howl isn’t stronger
I think it's also important to mention that Origins is the first map that every player gets a wonder weapon. One of the worst parts in a 4 player game is that you are very unlikely to get the "Thundergun", A good amount of Random lobbies consist of kids that leave the lobby when they don't get the wonder weapon. Origins changed that and is something that should appreciated.
@konombre965 buried only has the paralyzer, and only one person can get it even if you include the ray gun and the mk2, you still have one player who won't have a wonder weapon
I honestly really appreciate five now. You can train in the main area where you flip the def con switches and as long as you have mustang and Sally as a backup for the thief you can go forever really nice area to train
I am butthurt how much people dislike Cold War (or just think the other maps are better). It's literally the only game where you could run whatever you want because there isn't an unbeatable strategy. On all other maps, it was always; "spin the box, get the wonder weapon, survive 'til you die". But in Cold War, you could literally play anything you would want, and all would be the same power. Another thing I love about Cold War is replayability. Just like I said with the other maps, there is the optimal strat to follow. But in Cold War, where you can play with any weapon you want, you can unlock so many attachments and camos to differenciate your games. Other important things of note: - The Wunderfizz Machine update. Instead of rolling and seeing what weapon you get, you get to pick and buy your perks. - Triple Pack-A-Punch. As the game gets harder, there is still room for improvement to get to higher rounds. - Camos (mostly Dark Aether). Getting levels with a gun, and killing a certain amount of zombies in a perticular way, awards you with a camo. When you have all camos on a certain weapon, you get a 'golden' camo, which looks like scaly and dark greenish. Then if you get enough golden camos per weapon group (assault rifles, shotguns, etc.) you gain a 'diamond' camo for that weapon, which covers the whole gun in purple, metal looking camo. And getting diamond with each weapon group gives you the Dark Aether camo for all the guns you have gotten the golden and diamond camo on. Dark Aether camo being black and some parts (sometimes all) being an animated, cosmic looking camo. There is so much replayability, and stuff to do. Instead of simply surviving. Which is why I rather replay Cold War than Bo2 (MoB, Origins) as in the older games it was more like a Rogue Like (where you start a new game each time and get stronger) than a Rogue Lite in Cold War (where for each run you get stronger for the next run). But hey, that's just some stoopid swedes opinion.
Cold War is underrated now of days, I’d argue it was one of the best zombies we got. The only flaw it really has is the fact that there’s only 4 round based maps. I wish we got zombies chronicles 2 for it 😔
@@zaadus2 without a doubt, I find myself replaying those 4 maps very often. All of them are really good to the point where I can’t even decide which one I like most.
@@CiggyStardust27 Not only are the maps great, but the gameplay of BO:CW is just spectacular and very replayable. But my favorite is just the thought of getting DA on every weapon.
only thing that really pissed me off about cold war was how fucking long they took to release the maps and the fact that most maps were lacking that dark zombies aesthetic (except for mauer der toten) i wish we couldve actually gotten to roam around in the dark aether for longer or something cuz the aesthetic was way cooler
It’s funny. I stopped playing zombies after bo2 really because I started playing other games. Looking back, I hated transit. But years later the nostalgia definitely redeems it. Also about Die Rise, that map is dope
Farm was the first map I played. Played it 3 player split screen with my buddies late night. We had no idea how it worked and didn’t buy a single perc lol. That’s lowkey one of the best memories I have of the game. Farm is top ten 4 me. Possibly top 5 or three
I feel like town is perfect for just playing with your friends trying to survive as long as possible. Everything’s close and plenty of places to set up
Veruckt shouldn't be so low. The fact that you can't pack or train isn't a bad thing, but a good thing. It's a hard map. It restricts you on purpose, and it's up to your sheer skill and quickness to advance
I don’t even watch many zombies related TH-cam videos anymore but I seen our ho Tim pop up and had to watch it’s just too nostalgic 😂 thanks for the upload siiir
Hot take, Der Eisendrache is a worse version of Origins. And objectively, it doesn’t add enough to what Origins did to warrant it being ranked higher. Origins did significantly more for the mode and added significantly more than Der Eisendrache.
while true to some extent DE fixes the tedious nature of Origins. The mud, the extremely RNG easter egg steps, removes the generators (while a cool concept and works well in practice gets annoying after a while).
@@theguycisterninoyelledat6272 I don’t do Easter eggs so idk anything about either maps steps. The mud and generators never made sense to me to complain about. Stamin-up and jumping makes the mud easy af, and if you get cornered then just use your staff. The generators are also easy to handle because of the staffs too.
@@theguycisterninoyelledat6272 I agree it’d be better without mud, but without the generators then I wouldn’t be moving around much after getting a staff.
@burlyzulu True I just honestly think the Generator templars were a bad idea they are not challenging and really only are an inconvenience without them the generators would be much better.
A very fair and balanced list I'd say. I haven't played a lot of these maps so I can't give an honest opinion on them, but you were right on point with all the ones that I have played.
I’m so happy Zestubou is getting respect. I feel like the reason the map has such a long setup process is because there are no major threats on the map you have to prepare for. On the other maps in BO3, you typically have to prepare for a boss zombie of some kind, like the Panzer or Margwa, yet Zestubou has your only major threat be the Thrashers, which can be avoided by keeping a close eye on zombies that get close to spores. In a sense, the map is more relaxed than the other BO3 maps and encourages you to take your time setting up.
That’s not true at all. You encounter a thrasher when you open the bunker. Pretty sure it’s impossible to avoid. And when doing the skull rituals you will encounter multiple thrashers. Also thrashers just aren’t hard to kill during early rounds. Not a big threat at all. Also you encounter Margwas on pretty early rounds on Soe. If you know how to play the map well that is. You get one your second and fourth ritual I believe it is. Plus one after the pap ritual. I’m usually finishing all rituals by round 6 or 7. With classic gobble gums as well. You don’t really need to set up to kill the first Margwas. Same with manglers.
@Malik-xn8vj You actually have to kill every zombie inside the bunker fast enough or else one spawns. Yes it’s possible but the average player won’t kill every zombie fast enough. My point still stands anyways. There’s a lot of thrashers that spawn when doing the skull ritual.
I love how in Black Ops 2, the first 3 zombies maps were absolute SHIT. But then immediately after, they released what is considered the best map by far: Mob of the Dead
After Mob came out, zombies had it’s resurgence. Then Buried and Origins carried on that momentum. It is crazy that Buried was a Victus map because it is the only good one.
Rank the easter egg (or whatever lore stuff that happens in that map) probably based on the difficulty to complete, how intuitive it is, and how fun/repetitive it is to do
If you complain about Die Rise jumps, I invite you to look at your A button. It is one of the easiest maps out there. Having PhD would have broken the map due to a jump from the top to the bottom. I cannot agree with the opinion that Die Rise is bad when all complaints are easy fixes by players
Here’s some valid complaints. There’s no landmarks to navigate the map besides Buddha room and the roof. It’s a maze. The Easter egg for it sucks balls. The dog round is just re used novas that teleport basically. The characters suck balls. The elevator system was unironically just as bad as nuke towns and it’s very ugly to be honest as well. That being said if I only have an hour to play some zombies I’d choose die rise over mob as setting up is way quicker
Tips for tranzit: kill every zombies until round 2, keep one alive, then buy the wall buy next to power, turn on power go to town and rack up points for jug, then do whatever you want
For me, the lava on town is very fun. It forces to push even more buttons per second which i like and it creates a special feel of momentum while jumping to your spots you need to go

Good thought!!!

I like random perks on nuketown as well
Its terrible but I get your point
Die Rise is so awful that I considered placing it below Transit smh
die rise is probably my favorite bo2 map. it's far less of a chore to get setup on than mob and origins but isn't nearly as boring as tranzit and buried for high rounds. the shit people complain about when it comes to die rise just sounds like whining. i personally find origins to be obnoxiously tedious and the mud in the bo3 version is infinitely more annoying than fucking up a jump or missing an elevator on die rise. i'm of the opinion that zombies peaked with bo1 and has been going downhill ever since.
@@DougWarner25 TranZit and Die Rise are fun. I'd rather play a map than play no map at all.

@@seaweeb2258 I ain’t reading allat 💀
I aggree with every bit of this tierlist ❤❤❤ and i bet tim was shaking and sweating while he was postong this video😂😂😭😭
I personally liked bus depot it’s a deserved 30 or lower but last place I think is too low me and my friends would play this and town whenever we wanted a quick game cause we couldn’t afford any of the other maps
nacht, farm, verruckt.. was like *punch punch punch*. i love them
0:36 do a ranking based on how much they introduce.
The giant introduced the annihalator and the easter egg to get staminup or deadshot
I'd like to see you cover survival mode from MW3. Its not zombies but still a decent take on a horde defense mode
Buried
@konombre965 buried only has the paralyzer, and only one person can get it
even if you include the ray gun and the mk2, you still have one player who won't have a wonder weapon
@@sora5061 What about the Remington pistol?
Other important things of note:
- The Wunderfizz Machine update.
I wish we got zombies chronicles 2 for it 😔
@@CiggyStardust27 But those four maps are really good. Mauer der toten is my least favorite but it's a beautiful map.
"No nostalgia, pure based list....30 minutes later... der riese, the most nostalgic, best camping spot!!!" Bruh so inconsistent
Farm was the first map I played. Played it 3 player split screen with my buddies late night. We had no idea how it worked and didn’t buy a single perc lol. That’s lowkey one of the best memories I have of the game. Farm is top ten 4 me. Possibly top 5 or three
"This ranking is pure objectivity"
"So number 1 is Der Eisendrache"
Ah yes Tim's pure objectivity strikes again!
it is the best
Someones mad origins aint #1
@@drewberotti7782 bro it's the worst out of BO3. Not bad but just the worst. (Aside from zetsubou)
Perfect location, wonder weapon, Easter egg, story and enemies. It is kinda the best
@@paperclip6377 This is just a wrong opinion
I feel like town is perfect for just playing with your friends trying to survive as long as possible. Everything’s close and plenty of places to set up
Veruckt shouldn't be so low. The fact that you can't pack or train isn't a bad thing, but a good thing. It's a hard map. It restricts you on purpose, and it's up to your sheer skill and quickness to advance
It's mostly based on how primitive it is
I don’t even watch many zombies related TH-cam videos anymore but I seen our ho Tim pop up and had to watch it’s just too nostalgic 😂 thanks for the upload siiir
yo bro i feel like we have never really seen your opinion on easter eggs before so why not do a every easter egg from worst to best
The thing that makes kino so scary is the fact that it's a sunny day on the outside yet you feel so trapped alone against the zombies.
@burlyzulu It not challenging it just a hinderance and after you play the map over and over it would just be better without it.
@@theguycisterninoyelledat6272 I agree it’d be better without mud, but without the generators then I wouldn’t be moving around much after getting a staff.
@burlyzulu True I just honestly think the Generator templars were a bad idea they are not challenging and really only are an inconvenience without them the generators would be much better.
used to watch you when i was 14, i’m 20 now! hope life is treating you well tim
I know we all have our personal opinions, but putting Nacht Der Untoten as #35 is completely outrageous…
@@OldBenKenobi2318barn
That map is ass.
@Malik-xn8vj You actually have to kill every zombie inside the bunker fast enough or else one spawns. Yes it’s possible but the average player won’t kill every zombie fast enough.
My point still stands anyways. There’s a lot of thrashers that spawn when doing the skull ritual.
Really well done video essay 🙌
Might be one of Tim’s top videos
Also.. ima have to disagree with the blood of the dead placement 😩
So nacht is apparently worse than maps like transit, die rise, blood of the dead and is right next to bus depot? What kind of crack you smokin?
Well, yeah, it is boring AF, being nostalgic and the first in the series doesn't give it a divine status
Pay attention to what he said about how he’s rating these maps .
I am so glad u mentioned how rewarding shangri la is if you're resourceful my fav bo1 map no doubt
Whos here before the vid turned public (its unlisted rn)
For me, the lava on town is very fun. It forces to push even more buttons per second which i like and it creates a special feel of momentum while jumping to your spots you need to go
