    I’m a INFJ who is a 1 w2! I’ve been married for the last 25 years with a ENTJ who is a 6 w5! I love him with all my heart! I think it works because we have the same morals and values and we’re willing to work together to better our relationship because we respect and love each other! Being so sensitive, it’s easier now that I know his type.

    I was introduced to MBTI a couple years ago and really appreciated the opportunity for self-discovery. Only very recently I heard about the cognitive functions and it’s so cool how much it deepens the level of understanding. Looking solely at the 16 personalities can feel very general, and honestly, sometimes I get a little annoyed when people box you in your 4 letters. So thank you for explaining cognitive functions, it all makes a lot more sense now and I look forward to continuing learning more. I am an ENFJ according to MBTI and my Myers-Briggs expert friend who introduced me to this topic. I’m from Mexico and I’m available if you’re still looking for volunteers! 🙋🏽‍♀️ well done with these videos, I love them!

    Predict future of external reality is more what Ne tries to do, as it's about patterns in the external world (which are complicated to predict so Ne is never sure - and neither could it be). Ni does not really predict in the common sense of the word, but rather tries to bring a certain vision outwards (bring out what is in there)

      Hi there! Thank you for your comment. :) Predicting the future has been associated with intuitive functions. In Psychological Types, Carl Jung wrote of Introverted Intuitives that "Had this type not existed, there would have been no prophets in Israel." This is why many people believe that Introverted Intuition can actually tell the future or is prophetic. The argument that was presented in the video corresponds with what you're saying in the sense that Introverted intuition is used to bring a vision forward (a vision of efficiency for the ENTJ or a vision for harmony for the ENFJ) However, my larger argument as it pertains to Introverted Intuition is that the function does not actually have precognitive abilities. Neither type is literally telling the future, no matter what other sites may tell them.

      High intuition its a uncommon trait people have it can't be taught and it depends on how your mind works

    I feel like anyone who says "you are not a real (something)" is very presumptuous. What a person "is" and what they choose to share with the world can be very dissimilar.

    Interesting. As an ENFJ I don't think my intuition is based on the people around me, rather I am good at adapting to new situations (Se) with using my intuition. I can see how the situation is going to play out from different perspectives - it comes natural but takes willpower. I view the team as a whole, like a big picture, and think of what everyone can do for the efficiency of the plan. I also get mistaken for an ENTX a lot given I use a lot of Te/Ti functions. Meanwhile Fe function is more like a necessity to me, that's how the world works. Now that I think about it, in social situations I ask a lot of questions about the insights I get from what a person told me or from their behaviors. That could be Fe-Ni working together.
    If that's what you meant then sorry for getting it wrong. Have a good day!

    I would argue entjs make up 15% of the population while estjs make up 40% because of data, but my own personal experience says entjs are actually more common than estjs. 😂 I attract entjs like no other. Best gf friend growing up was an entj and had two entp close gfs as well. Love my intellectuals 😆

    So you said the stereotype of INFJs is not having room for feelings about themselves? But it does not play out that way in actuality. Which makes perfect sense but leaves me with the question. What are those feelings about themselves like? In that introverted intuition process that is lengthy how does the INFJ fit into the world from their own perspective then?

    • @TypeCastHeroes
      @TypeCastHeroes  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey there, thanks for the question! it can happen in a few ways. When we cover the shadow we will go more in depth, but their personal feelings are not at the forefront of their thoughts. Sometimes they don't handle their own emotions well, which can lead to all sorts of negative actions. it's important that INFJs take time to have some space and sort that out.

    It’s odd to me that people say intj are rare because everywhere I look there are intj men. They are on dating sites, on tv dating shows etc. intj men also appear to be more feelers. Maybe because I’m a hardcore introvert I see them more online idk. entjs seem like they would be the most rare I never see them maybe it’s because they’re extroverts... I used to like INTJs at first but as a INTP female I realize I bump heads with INTJ men because they can be very stubborn. My issue is they already have their minds made up about something after their thought process and they don’t allow any input even if it could be relevant. This could be a male thing though.

    ENTJ here.
    I really connected with the part about deep forward thinking and struggling to explain it to people.
    I find that I'll arrive at an answer that I sometimes cannot explain without further explanations of every single element and "how those things tie together."
