10'21" cracked up to "...turningnto ni, that's a mess!"😂
No they are actually the worst. They cry about EVERYTHING!
As another INFP with a massive movie collection I can say don’t get rid of your DVD/Blu Ray/4K cases. Those help protect the discs and make for a very aesthetic nice look on shelves. If you have the room to keep them don’t get talked into throwing them out. You will regret it. There is nothing unhealthy about enjoying a physical media collection on the shelf.
Love this channel and I usually don’t like anything
A question I’ve had for a while about extroverted feeling it does extrovert feeling and not to think about someone when they’re not there, let’s put it this way someone with introverted sensei extroverted feeling are they likely to just be focused on watching in front of them because that’s my experience is like they will be very attentive when they are around you and when they leave you just like they forget about you immediately is that true or my imagination?
Ne: "from one to multiple," goes off like a firework Ni: "from multiple to one," like a firework in reverse Now to figure out which one I use more often 🫠
As an ENTJ..you could’ve said i challenge you to (insert challenge) and i would’ve been committed lol.
You lost me at Karlian. Did you need to make up a word to set yourself apart. Nauseating.
Y’all are young and The World is new to You. Best Wishes to you both in your New Endeavors! 🎉
Fi child equals potentially enormous humiliation at emotional vulnerability, particularly when reaching out and not having that reciprocated. Like, literally 🤮🤮🤮
I’m an INFJ that’s starting to get to know an ISFP harmonizing subtype. How Ni and Se manifests in her life interests me a lot, especially in regard to the differences. Although she’s not yet super familiar w/ cognitive functions, I wonder how she sees my dominant Ni and inferior Se.
i feel so so UNDERSTOOD, this video put into words the things that i go through and i just couldn’t put my finger on it and the way i couldn’t tell the difference between what is my intuition and what is my emotions, i realized that i don’t spend much time processing my emotions in a healthy way, i just overthink how i can solve things in my life and myself and i am surrounded my many heavy Si users, so my insecurity about being impractical and realistic has really been taking a toll on me for a while.
Se is can also be addictive in behavior
This is kind of a misuse of the term empathy. Cognitive empathy, affective empathy, and compassionate empathy are different and none of those are the same as sympathy which seems to be what is being implied here as “empathy” from Fi.
Socionics shows only INFP has Te inferior. Observation & Socionics proves ALL mbti-SJs lead with a rational judging function. ALL mbti-SPs lead with irrational sensing. ---------‐-----‐‐------------‐------------- ISFJ (ESI) leads with FiSe = Relations enforced. ISTJ (LSI) leads with TiSe = laws enforced ✏️ 📝 ISTP (SLI) leads with SiTe = Sensory pragmatism 🔨 🛠 🪛 🔧 ISFP (SEI) leads with SiFe = Sensory mood 💋 💄
Thanks for this video 🥺 But actually i have another take on this. I know you have said that we can use aux Ne to actually grow, but in MY experience, it seems to not be working. Sure, i can dream of all the potentials that I can do in the world and explore possibilities and just explore the world more, but i actually feel that Ne just makes things worse. Especially for me, coz i will be dreaming about what i could/possibly do that i am just comfortable with the IDEA of doing, but NOT ACTUALLY DOING IT for its own sake. Actually i also think that INxPs might have the hardest time just doing things, exploring things in the outside world because they lack one CRUCIAL FUNCTION that EVERYBODY loves in this real, practical world. It's Se. In my experience, sure, i can use auxillary Ne to actually dream of what i can do, explore a broad range of interests and what not, but i have to be REALLY HONEST, it just doesn't even work if the INxP wants to do something impactful in the world, or just get their ass out doing things that they wanna do or should do. They just become stuck in the idea of doing what they could do, but NEVER ACTUALLY DOING IT. I personally think that in this case, purely using auxiliary Ne is not going to take you anywhere. I think they (myself too) need to actually develop our weakest functions; trickster Se and inferior Te/Fe. Without these functions, we are just only gping to be stuck in our Ne daydreaming and our Si comfort bubble that we have no chances of tapping into our potential. Sorry this is my opinion so i might be wrong :') but personally i feel i rlly need to develop trickster Se and inferior Te or honestly the world is not going to go easy on me....... And i also think that since you two have said in the video that INxPs might need to take things less personally from Si doms since the majority of people out there uses Si, this just gives more weight that INxPs should develop trickster Se. They need to accept the fact that many people are like this and not assume them as being childish or close minded. I have too many moments whereby i clashed so much with my Si dom parents that haiz i just wished that i can take their comments and criticisms less personally by just accepting this is their opinion, not mine. My ISFP younger sister seems to be very good at just accepting my parents' opinions while i kept wanting to tell my parents like "well, you're wrong and you are being close minded" kind of thing :')
In my opinion and after so many thoughts about this tertiary function topic, I think the way to actually open up the tertiary function is to develop the trickster. In the case of the content in this video, ISxPs need to develop trickster Ne. They need to start to know that their own subjective interpretations and ideas are not always just about them and the world is full of potential and other ideas and interpretations that the outside world presents. After I watched this video, I actually realized that probably it's not just auxillary Se which is going to help, but also trickster Ne. They have to actually work together to open ISxPs up.
You guys are awesome 🥲😍🥰 You really make me love myself so much more. Thank you 😊
Where are the stats where certain population are certain mbti type?
Who is still watching in 2070?
I'm fairly sure I'm an ExFJ, but I am extremely logical and realistic and have very high Ti. Is that possible?
esfj is likely to have higher Ti thanks to their Si parent ( more instropective ) compared to enfj, or maybe you are exfj who grew up with parents who happened to be Ti dom/ Ti parent
How did you guys record this? When I use headphones as opposed to speakers, it sounds like you had soundproofing while speakers sound low quality?
The education system was really a negative experience for me. I loved gym and science for the most part. Now as an ESTP mom of 4 I homeschool my children, not perfectly of course but I do love the freedom of it.
Are you guys still doing interviews?
Okay, new favorite typology channel. Love love love you quoting your sources
Maybe if you phrase external validation as “ noticeable somehow respect for/looking up to what they do” lol the te heroes might get on board with the concept of external validation 😂🧐 *runs away before I get beaten by a Te hero 😆. Also question, what would external validation look like for let’s say an Se user. Asking as a probably ISTP/ESTP not sure which lol. I think I do need some form of this but I am wondering if us and te users maybe associate the phrase “external validation” with like a very words of praise type of love style which I certainly do not identify with. But external validation can be something other than this , and in that way I think u could be right about that external validation& external functions correlation🧐 💭
Thank you so much for this indepth analysis on ISFP, your resolve to make this analysis as grounded on the function stack rather than stereotypes is heartwarming. I'm an a Isfp, who typed initially as Infp then Infj and later Intj, but it felt somewhat shallow as some functions hit home while others didn't. I never paid attention to other types, until I came across a channel breaking down functions and discussed what you have stated about Isfps mistyping as the intiutives that took me to a wormhole of finding my true type, with all its proud full and cringey aspects. Thank you for posting this content and how you approach it.
Ti can and does fix things IF THEY CARE ABOUT IT BEING FIXED lol. Jerry rigged doesn’t mean not fixed bruh lol. There is just not a need to do it “the only proper way or tools or whatever “ lol. Things can be fixed with a made up way of fixing it 😂I know this is hard for te to accept but … ya. Ur gonna tell me ISTP and estp don’t actually fix things when or if they want to? … hardcore disagree maam. Ti can cook “right” , can fix “right” we do things right lol I think it’s te who only views the most common standardized or societally a reputed or already know way as THE WAY lol. I think ti wants it done WELL , right, precise with quality at times , where te often sacrifices quality for speed and , can plug in any user and they can use this solution. Can plug in any user , makes for best solutions in CERTAIN SCENARIOS , it is not the best solution in all scenarios idk why te doesn’t seem to get this. Te style solutions are not always and wverywhere the best /most correct /better solutions. Lol why does context not matter so often for te users ehyyyy *cries ti tears 😂 Ti doesn’t accept that data is logic bec it’s not. Lol it’s not stubbornness imo it’s , if people are using or rather misusing the interpretation of facts and data or pretending that their interpretation of use of data could be wrong , lol even if they used data that exists , then why does that mean we are only using logic in a way that is “just our own opinion”. I don’t think Ti is being represented well here. Scientific studies for example , what you can acceptably conclude from a set of facts requires logical steps and interpreting and it’s how science and data is often misunderstood or misrepresented. There are limitations on what cannot and can be concluded lol from said facts. This isn’t stubbornness or arrogance lol it’s a commitment to the integrity of the logic involved. Te is very unconcerned with the logic involved and typically slaps broadly accepted facts or data on them to insist that they’re correct. The facts may be. The conclusions or way those facts are used to present ideas by the te person still may not be. Logic is taught in courses , its principles are objective not subjective. The subjectivity of Ti isn’t in the principles of logic themselves. Bec of English language I think these things often get conflated. The subjectivity … innnn my humble opinion comes with the individuals grasp of the logical principles they have learned , as per their individual brains and bodies and experiences and whatever they may have lived to identify somethings as part of their framework but I’d argue that the subjectivity comes with which parts and pieces and principles of logic they’ve identified , at that subjective moment in time , and whether they’re applying all the relevant principles to a situation or not. Bjt logic is logic lol like it doesn’t matter someone’s personal opinion is , in Ti land lol. And research isn’t necessarily helpful to Ti , te is often just looking around them lol to see who is the most celebrated credential and that is correct whatever that person says. Lol things like that it’s just not a good APPLICATION of logic but te is acting like their collection of the most popular facts , are logic. Ijsssssss
Efficient and effective are not the same thing and what defines the most effective solution may not include as much efficiency as the users always believe lol Ijs it depends on the nature of the problem the context etc
I think I’m ISTP or ESTP, I love these videos on functions IN A PARTICULAR POSITION. Soooo helpful. Do not love that song at the end of all the videos tho 😂lol. Anywho on to watch more ! ✌🏽
INTJ here. Re: Heroic inflation and "staying inside my head". When you say "you have so much to give" I want to believe but, TBH, exactly *one* of my long term plans/projects came to be; all others were derailed and so it really feels like the answer to _"is it worth it?"_ is no. Another thing is that I'm not really welcome outside my head, which isn't to say I'm constantly unwelcome (though that exists) but rather the lack; this would be fine in-and-of-itself, but continually I've found that suggestions for efficiency or mitigating future problems [in work/organizations/group-projects] are "treated with a nod, then dismissed". - In short, it feels like nobody actually values/wants what I do have to give. And, on the "be more social" side: I'm exhausted of being the [only] one to initiate, to put effort in. (Essentially little to no reciprocity.) - So, it seems like, socially speaking, I'm not wanted either. I used to believe that deferred gratification would pay off and be enjoyable, now I'm over 40 and looking back on life, I cannot readily think of one example where it did; I *really* want it to be the case... but I no longer _see_ it. - In short, my Ni vision of *"virtue, hard work, and perseverance is going to pay off!"* has been served a huge counterexample by experience: I've lost jobs because I wouldn't abandon virtue, I've had hard-work and perseverance taken advantage of and unrewarded, and the past two times I've been unemployed... well, constant and continual rejection eats at your ability to see "competence" in yourself (just like if everyone you meet says you're an ass, maybe you're an ass.).
Te = "game". You heard it first here
"Whatever you have in you Ni becomes your lifestyle" Great quote
4:58 but what if they don’t get it? What if using their extraverted feeling usually had let to punishments or so?
Nope, INTJs (and even ISTPs) know we are unrealistic for you, we just play on another level 😉 Being called crazy, weird or unrealistic is just another tuesday compliment to us 😂 Also injuries.. INTJs learn from mishaps consistently, might be a mistyped ISFP/INFP/INTP there...
As an INTJ I find ESFJs very useful to handle and set up all kinds of social functions, but how they can flat out ignore data in front of themselves because "somebody told me x and it is true" is so infuriating at times. ENFJs tho seem to be aware due to Ni aux and thus somewhat defensive about their logical capabilities - "No I am not stupid, me smarty smart!" Oh well back to work Pinky.
Fi is not Fake and Fe is not authentic. I’m an ENFP too but I don’t fake my bubbly side. Especially being Ne Dom, I get distracted from my negative emotions easily, and my bubbly personality came from my excitement to connect with other’s ideas or the idea of fun with people around me. So that may be why it seems like we are not true to our emotions, but you are wrong, we are true to our emotions. We are just happy at that moment, and forgets our sadness and problems. But when all the excitement died down, that’s when we remember oh yeah Im supposed to be sad, so let’s go sad. INFP would be different, they would pounder on their emotions way longer than us ENFPs, and slowly open up to their Ne for fun and excitement. But Fi is still authentic. That is why it is easy for Fi user to isolate ourselves or leave the group or just not care about the group harmonising vibes. Fe is usually more inauthentic. Because they pick up on other people’s emotions to dictate how they should feel, react and express themselves. Fe users are prone to being nice and smiling A LOT, but the smile mostly doesn’t reach their eyes. Because they only smile because based on how the people around them feel they need to reflect that, they need to smile to reciprocate the vibes. So it comes across as fake even if that is not their intention. So I think you have misunderstood ENFP genuine excitement for new adventures(Ne) for being fake with their Fi feelings. Unless the emotions is too much that I can’t get excited with anything, then I would gladly walk away from everyone, isolate to process my emotions.
2:45 not me being an estp and literally hearing you say that on 2x speed 😂
My fi feels like a caveman has it. “Me sad” “me frustrated”
You two could go on a weekend trip into the woods. It will draw out Amanda's demon and blind function, make those shine, which is excellent support to have for when you challenge both of your inferior functions. Because being out there, everything takes time. You need to set up camp, build a fire, prepare food, move to another location if you move from campspot to campspot. By the time you're done and you can relax all you want is to see the sunset, listen to the forest noises, breathe in the smells, talk about pretty it all is. Let reality wash over you in way you can't help but enjoy. There is nothing like it and believe me, Ne (and probably Ni I imagine) will take a step back. It's sensing and feeling when your out there. So you have your (eachothers?) second functions as a familiarity to ground you, but this time your sensing functions are in the driving seat. I wholeheartedly recommend it, if only as an experiment, if I want to fully relax my (supposed) entp mind this has been the way for me for 15 years. Probably take someone who has experience at this with you. Someone who typically wants to share the experience, and naturally instruct you, not educate you ... I think 🤔 ... We want to stimulate SF, not NT.
Just came across you two today. Appreciated your love-in for ISTJs. This week I will be 76 years young. YES, 76 Trombones... Will you need to Google that? Hope not. For decades I thought I was INFJ, but last year I studied 2 of Linda Berens' booklets and many other sources, and learned I am ISTJ, which was a surprise. I have a speech impediment and mild CP, but that shouldn't bother us. HOW MAY I ANSWER YOUR SURVEY? Thank you.
I love your videos, you are some of the very few who talk about all this without turning it into a caricature and providing some well needed nuance. It's refreshing well done 😊
Amazing video! Love how you both work together to create such powerful and deep videos! As a male ENFP, I could totally relate to experiencing a flood of emotions when I don't stay in tune with my Fi. Thankfully, I have a mentor and he has helped me mature emotionally and encouraged me to use my Fi more.
Thank god we are the rarest lol.
Hi I'm a female istp I'm 38; if you need more interviews. I've sort of lived a wide range of the estp life
If you don't have Ne nemesis paranoia then you're not a true INFJ.
ESTJ probably dont have the patience to watch this
I have an ISTJ sister who I get along famously with. We really connect over our Si gripes and how nobody does anything correctly, so I don't really get that hate for si users. Or, maybe I actually am an ESTJ like I kind of suspect. Maybe I'm ambivert. Thanks for the vid girls!
You're ENTP or ENFP?
I have gotten unknown bruises before, but otherwise, I have almost always made it a priority to be connected to my body. I have never thought others were boring, just that we have different interests and value different things in life. I also have finished projects because its fun to see accomplishments. I have a lot if interests and never get easily bored.
Esfj male here, if needed, for the project
