- Light players have become "looked down" upon in this game, and it's time to change that. Today we are going to focus on balancing between our strengths of dealing damage and our abilities to protect the cashouts.
As solo queuing is still possible, it's definitely become difficult to climb as fast compared to playing in a trio or even duo team, but if you're like me, we still just want to solo queue, maybe you just want the diamond rewards and you're not interested in finding a team?

I know i already made another comment but the fact that thiixy isnt using the lunge attack on the sword makes me feel things i usually only felt while playing tank in overwatch competitive

I mained light back in the betas but quickly switched off of it when the game launched and i started playing ranked.
Honestly seeing it finally being able to provide utility for the team especially with the gateway ability made me give it another try and omg the lh1 is the best gun in the game again!

Ayyy yeah it's really helpful if you have the mix of not being able to play "hidden" with the cloak, by that not having the best exits or being overly exposed, the dash can help you out of those situations a lot! This was also before the nerfs so I'm glad this season a lot of my builds are pretty uneffected by the changes :)

U got any more ideas for live-streaming? They were fun however they weren’t exactly the most viewed so I do understand if u want to stop them. Great video tho and in limited practice it really helps!
My personal loadout is glitch nade, invis nade, stun gun and evasive dash with most weapons.
Yooo, yeah I mean I don't really mind views wise - again I'm no where near as big as these other creators, I just got lucky for a small period of time as people thought I was the #1 or something lol. I think I'll probably next be live when I host a tournament!

as a solo q plat 4 light who plays around my team and plays objective i find most other lights are legit being hard carried this season. they often play troll load outs like sword or shotgun and end up contributing 0. honestly if they wanna play like that i wish they would just play QC and stop wasting ppls time in ranked
Yeah exactly, and this is why a lot of the times it now ruins it for ranked lights that actually contribute, because even I'm like "ahhh ffs" when I see a light on my team, and basically prey that they have an understanding what a moneybox is lol
I do see your point however some players can be incredibly cracked with these guns. Overall tho 99.99 percent of the time these players are useless. I do main sword in pubs however in ranked I never play light and almost exclusively play medium or heavy
fr i get so much sh^t choosing light but then i go 12 and 3 and we qual and they shut up😂 its completely understandable tho as i do hate other lights too. yeah it’s typical skill issue octane wraith behavior but now in the finals😂😂😂
Can you still get the m11 diamond skin this season ? Or how does acquiring the diamonds skins work?
That skin was available to the players supporting the game back in the closed beta, to get the current diamond skin, which is the FCAR this season, you need to get diamond in ranked :)
Very helpful, I’ve always seen light as a griefer/ harrasser so their job is just to annoy the enemy as much as possible
Exactly, I like taking differant angles with things, which is why you see a lot of this across all my guides, these contestents aren't just limited to one role/idea! :)

As a medium player i‘m getting ptsd when invis lights run around me in circles just to stun me and killing me off in seconds 🙃

I struggle with actually LIVING if an enemy sees me. It's like a really fast clock ticking down until I die.
Hmmmm... when you play try to think about places of cover you can dash to, try to engage, chip, exit and only really commit to a full elimination of the enemy isn't looking directly at you or shooting you. If you need some more help I'll happily review your VOD :)
You should make a video on the ups and downs of Dmap and why it needs a buff and has strong potential
I do think controller players have had a bit of a hard time since the aim assist nerfs a few months ago, it was pretty damn strong admittedly, and I made a video on me trying out controller for the first time, was a fun experience. I guess that software stuff is great for helping people with disabilities, but of course there are some that can use it more than just the positives (recoil control)
I am a light main my goal is to support my team at best there's no way I'm trying to carry with 150 health!! I think this needs to be understood . 😅💪

Respect for that! I think it just depends on the way most lights currently play right now which is run around and farm eliminations, sometimes it’s better to do that on the cashout site instead of a random area of the map :D

I would absolutely love to find a team and play ranked but OCE gets no queues and high ping is very difficult in this game

My build generally is xp/Lh1 with stun frag and gateway as a non ranked player
Fair play! Yeah the frag is really useful especially in games like power shift if there's no APS haha
LH is recommended:
2 headshot light
3 headshot medium
4 headshot heavy
essentially a safer sniper.... the range is amazing
Yeah for sure, I don’t really recommend weapons on this channel because all guns can be strong, LH1 though getting a recoil nerf is great and does outshine a lot of ranged options

Yeah I recommended the double barrel in my solo guide I made, especially when it was so strong because you could use that + stun gun to stop cashouts lol
I know I’m pretty late lol, but am I the only one who hasn’t got their original stuff in the beta and had to start all over once the actual game came out?
Hey! Either you played the betas on another Steam account, or you aren't logged in with your EmbarkID. It's easy to fix, just contact their support - google Embark support or something like that and make sure you're on the official page, then submit a ticket, the team is pretty good at handling issues :)
I know light only got 150 health but sword need a lil nerf, when a light can solo a 3 stack without getting hit it’s crazy
Yeah I'll be honest, I know I spoke about lights extending the range when I'm stunned, but when the swords dash into me and around me it's really hard to stay on them hahaha
1 light soloing a 3 stack with any weapon is CRAZY. Even crazier that none of you guys hit him

Yeah it’s pretty wild haha, I used to main light in CB, since I got one shot by RPG I switched to heavy and honestly it’s way easier, I’ve only really been struggling against dash players, some invis players have been good but yeah, even in my team they just seem to always want to fight and not play objectives

People always say I’m throwing when I pick light then I drop 20 kills and carry them they shut up real quick i avg about 10 kills a round

The secret is to just not play light because this is a team game. Until you are going positive in kills do not que for tournaments

We only got 3 classes to choose and players are already getting saltt.
Hmm… I don’t know if that’s the case, I mean I think we will probably only have three classes for the foreseeable future, do you think they need a forth? Either way, there’s always going to be complainers in every game you play haha
They need to fix the movement speed to exactly like how it was in the beta and then the game would be too tier again.
If you don't mind, can I ask what actually changed? Because I hear they didn't change anything like that, and it was originally just a miss-communication because the FOV got reset - and people thought movement changed, when it didn't. I haven't noticed much change from that since CB, would be interesting to hear your opinion :)
it's actually exactly the same. a few animation tweaks and an FOV reset can change people's perception, which is what happened at release! the only thing they DID change is that vaulting doesn't fling you over as far because a few of us thought it was too slippy in OB

Honestly think lights need a nerf, they are getting abused.
Yeah I mean if you use light in this way, it's incredibly broken. ofc you can do well getting elims, which is strong for light, but sometimes these players over-fight.
The problem with lights is the random solos. They suck and never stick together, and Light's kit is too greedy and not team oriented enough.

The problem is randoms of any class doing that.
Thats just a random problem in general, had a heavy yesterday that was soloing teams of 3 and 6 while we were across the map defending the vault.

I think light is the most broken class imo
Light is suuuuper strong for sure, it's crazy that it's the player that's the weakness in ranked, rather than the class!
Man this game is becoming less and less enjoyable every coming updated and it's pissing me off. QOL is going down with each update. Solo queue is only mildly okay in quick cash. Teamplay is non existent in this game. It's supposed to be the main driving factor of this game but all I see are players craving kills with not a damn given for the objective. Ranked is just pure garbage. I have yet to get a single good match.
I'll give it a couple more weeks and then I'm quitting for this season.

I agree there should be a solo queue lobby but the player counts don’t support it I don’t think, but I also 100% agree that players are going for eliminations. Every guide I’ve made has been to try to tell players to play cashouts, so it’s a shame people still do it. But I am a small TH-camr…
@@THiiXY Mainly what I mean by QOL is the UI. Of all things, as the game has progressed, the UI has gotten more and more bugged. Like not being able to tell if an enemy team is capturing the objective or not. That's vital information and I'm not getting it. A bunch of times it's only when the cashout is complete that I've realized that the cashout was stolen last minute and I never realized cuz I got no indication. Other things like the "event announcement" (Low gravity etc) covering the scoreboard when I press tab. And in the latest update, when you're dead, the team scores on the top left and the compass in te top center of the screen, are glitched out like you got hit with a glitch nade.
The sound effects are going down as well. I now have a hard time differentiating between enemy and friendly footsteps. While spectating a teammate, they stop shooting and the gun's sound effect keeps on going. The sound effect of a teamwipe comes like 30 seconds after a teamwipe happens.
The ones I've mentioned so far are all problems that were not there in the open beta. Why is the game regressing? I don't understand.
I would hope someone brings light to these issues because I have a feeling that Embark is not even aware of them. They don't seem like the kind of team that'd ignore such problems.
I'm a massive fan of this game and I want it to succeed but it's getting too frustrating considering we're well into the season, and I have yet to find one match that I actually had fun in.
