awesome video, the drone shots and editing look great. looking forward to future videos as well. I think you made an excellent engine choice, n/a induction and a healthy increase in power but not crazy power will compliment the original purpose for the Miata extremely well.
not gonna lie bro i watched the entire video without skipping, but when you got to the hood i got so sad. you some new good looking headers and and tuck some of them wires, and clean up the engine bay looks like its never seen a garden hose let alone any cleaning since 1999
Haha yeah I couldn’t agree more the engine bay is absolutely filthy! I definitely focused on functionality over cleanliness but for the engine swap I do plan to clean everything while the engine is out. Appreciate you watching and commenting! And yes, it’s a Honda K24.

Exciting k swap! Not that it matters if youre swapping the engine, but on the current bp4w setup, if youre still running MAF on the aftermarket intake (which looks like you are), the valve cover vent should have a hose connected to the intake instead of the little cone filter. Assuming you are running the factory ecu, it isnt getting the full atmospheric meausrement since your MAF is not aware of that connection anymore. Could be costing you a couple ponies.

Funny story -- I came across this vid from your fuel pump video since... I also have a black 99 Miata, withe same Harddog M1 rollbar, all blacked out like yours, AND my name just happens to be Brad! Pretty funny. Anyway, enjoyed your video, gave me some ideas. And, I'm interested to see the engine ur swapping in.
