True....After 20 years of suffering God put me in a place I needed to be without me knowing...to get my own personal inner happiness.... did not go out looking for it but it found me... It might be temporary or permanent I don't know yet. Just to be touched , be loved , accepted, kissed nothing more....just that.. But I had to choose to just be happy even if it's one minute to heal. I don't understand society's obsession with having people live together even if they are not right for each other, and even if there are other people out there who might be better matches for both parties. I have been listening to Sister shivani since 10 to 12 years. There are solutions to almost all life issues. The bottom line is meditation, asking for forgiveness from the souls around us and accepting that all souls have their own sanskars. BUT but I am in a similar situation. If you don't settle your own mind and keep looking for love outside yourself, you will keep chasing the feeling. The trust issue is so true to the core in my case. I have watched parents' display of hatred for each other, constant negative outpouring of one parent of the other, one being so verbally and physically abusing us the kids for petty things shattered my belief on marriage or love or trust anyone else in the family.
What about pre marital affair which was carried on for 36 years even after marriage. Is my husband not cheating on me. I have been listening to Sister shivani since 10 to 12 years. There are solutions to almost all life issues. The bottom line is meditation, asking for forgiveness from the souls around us and accepting that all souls have their own sanskars.
BUT but I am in a similar situation. Ive been meditating asking for forgiveness from my spouse soul since 6to 7 years. The the extramarital relationship is full on, I do understand its a karmic account etc etc . But it takes a lot A LOT of emotional torture which is hard to handle.

From certain observation, I would also say destiny has a huge hand in retaining a relationship in its true meaning. It does happen that man proposes and god disposes. Relationship is a 2 way street and in many situations ends in abuse, mistrust , disrespect from one partner ; though there is everything related to love and positive energy from the other. Like you said , there is basically rejection written all over from day 1. At one point one has to give up trying too hard to please the partner and find peace, or let them find another person of suitable choice.

Relationships became dull after years of marriage and when people tried to find attention and excitement outside from their marriage they cheat. Most people do that just bcz of boredom most of the time it has nothing to do with humiliation or neglecting someone.
