Why do you remove the brake caliper slide? Can you not just remove the entire caliper? Also did you unwind the hanbrake cog before removing disc? Thanks
You can do either, doesn’t really matter at the end of the day, but I do like to give the slides a clean and lube so I normally have them apart anyway. I didn’t have to back off the handbrake in this instance, but it may be required
