  • 17-year-old M’Balu Tucker lives in a poor village in Sierra Leone and could not afford to pay her school fees. But she has a new source of income, thanks to an IFC-supported program that leverages the demand for sanitation supplies during the COVID-19 pandemic to teach adolescent girls a skill: making soap. The project is implemented by World Hope International.
