I like the steam workshop as it auto updates mods for better or for worse (usually for the better). I'm impressed that the author of the mod is still updating it!
This has the same vibe of the firefight mod in halo custom edition where you play as the Arbiter and fight both flood and sentinels and on the other base there's marines who also fight you

Does the spiker do much more damage than in the base game?
This map does need more enemy squads spawning though. I played this for 2 hours on legendary and it got a bit monotonous fast(i know its early but its great just a few things needed to make the loop of gameplay more immersive). The same squads spawn, and your allies bug out at times. Need a squad control system bad for this map. Multiple factions should spawn at points aswell. Other than each round needing more spawn variation instead of adding an extra juggernaut and some minor ai developments and tweaks this mod is absolutely worth the playing and is addicting.
Also, Skirmisher allies are pretty good, they constantly do well against the flood. They should be given a basic level of shields.
Maybe the reward system for squads could be overhauled so we get like 3 squads stored and(with cool down per spawn) be able to choose when we spawn a squad, to have them stored for vital moments.

these modders are putting 343 to shame. We have a new playable race before 343 could even do it.
