  • What is there to see and do in Rabat Morocco? In this travel vlog, we experience more of our lockdown freedom to explore the capital city of Morocco.
When people think of Moroccan cities, they likely think of Casablanca or Marrakech, which are great! Rabat may not come to mind when thinking of places to spend a vacation or holiday, but we explore this capital city and show off some highlights that make it worth visiting!
This vlog was filmed during the reopening stage following the COVID-19 pandemic in Morocco, so unfortunately, many things still aren't opened or fully operating, but we still get some beautiful views and experiences that can only be better once things are back to normal (or close to normal)!
So enjoy our travel vlog following our lockdown freedom where we show you some incredible places to see in Rabat Morocco!

Adding an interesting history fact about the place where you are. In the 17th century, Salé was a pirate republic led by Murat Reis , aka Jan Janszoon a dutch turned muslim & pirate . He had a son with a moroccan woman . His name was Anthony Van Salee, ( Van Salee meaning "from Salé" in dutch language) . Anthony was of mixed heritage and muslim too. Later he migrated to what would become the US. He became an original settler and prominent landholder . His lands would become New Utrecht and Gravesend neighborhoods in Brooklyn . His descendants include Jackie Kennedy , Humphrey Bogarts and Cnn Anderson Cooper . Today, there are Van Salee families in the US, litterally "from Salé" lol

I would like you to search a bit about the Arab Muslim history golden age, specially, specially the history about the Arab (Moroccan) taking over Spain’ and other part of Europe ,that will give an idea that’s is the other way around when it comes to the architecture and other civilizations, the architecture in Mohamed 5 in Rabat and all of Morocco, most of it are Moroccan .
Yes we are in Africa, but North of Morocco have a great long interesting history.

Hi guys! It's the center of the city and that mosque is called "Jamaa Sunnah" and near of it , it's an old High school called " Lycée Moulay Youssef". It's one of the very good school, my dad and my sister studied there.
Yes, you may find some places close with the COVID-19.
Wow! You walked a lot to get to Marjane store👍❤
Agdal is more quiet neighborhood but there are many snacks, cafes, bakeries. Try to get something from "Madame Berrada " she's has Moroccan traditional stuffs, cookies, selou. I believe it's in Oukba street!!
That's cool! "Hassan Tour", I used to go at there when I was kid lol. Our first neighborhood in Rabat❤🇲🇦
Be safe and enjoy your stay👍🇲🇦❤🇲🇦

We do need to find Madame Berrada - we've heard good things about her! :) Hope you are staying safe and well!

@@BeckyandRyanTravel. Thanks for asking, I spend more time at home and I go just for groceries. NY is a little bit better than others states. I feel sorry for Florida and California. They have high numbers now.
Madame Berrada is on that street. I forgot the name lol. You know where is the taxi station! You make right and you go straight before you cross that big street. It's before "Coq d'or" ( they have delicious roasted chicken, the best).
Madame Berrada Traiteur (caterer), it's a little expensive but just try some of their stuffs because it's worth it.👍
By the way, if you're still in Morocco, try to go North: Chefchaoun, Tetwan, Tangiers, Asilah. The best beaches and sand. It's something different and pretty too.👍❤
