Hi Polly! How are you? Please, I am a new subscriber to you. I am going to get rollerblades when I turn 9. I am so excited and your videos really help. Keep up the great work! 🤗😁🛼
Hi Pollly! I've been hooked on your videos all day! You are a fantastic teacher. Also, is this in Los Angeles? If so, where exactly? Maybe you can share a list of paths in the area (besides the beach). Ty and much love! ;)
i'm really glad that there is no background music in the instruction; background music can easily become overpowering the narration for me! (i find that most youtubers make the background music too loud, such as at 2:00 in your video, and it makes it draining to try to hear your narration for me; the background music at half the volume would still give ambience. even at 2:50, the music takes more energy to try to hear your narration from underneath it, for me, than i would like ) i'm having trouble doing a good scissor. i wonder if you have a video just on how to scissor and the difficulties beginners have with it
Hi! I really actually need to do a scissor video! And THANK YOU for the feedback on the music. I never really know what’s best and really appreciate your experience with it!! 🙏🙏🙏🤗🫶😁
Speaking of heel brakes, one version of the Rollerblade Macroblade 80 is equipped with ABT (Active Braking Technology), which enables a skater to slow down by simply sliding their foot forward, thereby keeping all four wheels on the ground in the process. I don’t own this particular model, but I think it’s an interesting idea to help beginners learn how to use the brakes. What’s your take on this, Polly?
I just looked it up and I totally misunderstood what you were talking about. Basically a regular heel break, just much closed to the ground. Actually does look much easier to use
I will be saving this video to watch again. Thank you so much!
Your videos helped me a lot!! Now I can stop, turn, skate backwards and even do a little bunny hop!🤗 thank you!!!
That's great!🤗🙌🙏🩵
i find all of your videos very helpful, thank you so much✨
I am now learning how to do the spin stop and I would love a full length video on it. I love your videos and how you teach ❤
Yes! I will make one!! I realized when I was filming this one I need to make that one soon! 🤗💞🙏

You just sent me down a rabbit hole because that sounds fascinating. I wonder if it would be of a hindrance to use as a more experienced skater

I don’t use a heel break, I tried once it tripped on a crack, and I fell backwards!😂 I use the t-stop.
