Neat little tidbit about the 3D Cobblers, walls that you copy by [L]ooking at them will retain any modifications they have like being wired or piped. The wall in Ezra behind Yla and Sixshrew that the wire comes out of is actually a power generating wall, not just a wired one, and will act just like any other electricity generating device like, for example, the fusion generator. You could theoretically build a house out of this powered fullcrete and have power anywhere you need it. You could also use it when defending Grit Gate if you manage to get them early enough. Turrets that you place will draw power from any grid they're connected to, so you can even go without power cells. The cobblers remember what you've set them to, too. You can look at a wall, deactivate them, then recoil somewhere and when you activate them again they'll produce that last wall you looked at.
Yes! You can also use it to copy the gem infused walls I believe and make a bunch of extra cash! The power system in Qud is pretty obscure, so it’s a fun thing to mess around with :)
@@Rogue_Rat Cobbling the gem infused walls is genius. Wish I had thought of that the last time I found a whole floor of a historic site chock-full of emerald walls.
Gas Tumbler + Corrosive Gas + Gravity Grenade + Va'am's Lens lets you make a hyper-dense little fart cloud you can push onto things that deals upwards of thousands of damage. It's pretty fun.
@@Rogue_Rat I wanted really bad to try it out so I spent a lot of time between Grit Gate, Ezra, and Yd to maximise my chances of getting the data disk for it. If you're use the world map to travel, each one should easily restock between delving caves and historic sites. Getting lucky with an abundance of schematics drafters at the stilt also contributes.
Caves of Qud 2: The Recoming Never seen the ooze with the device any other place than the bottom floor, same level as the mopango town. I haven't verified, but I'm guessing that the +hit bonuses on off-hand weapons would only affect attacks made with that weapon. If the off-hand triggers (from the % chance or from Flurry or whatever), it makes a to-hit roll to see if it hits, and the bonus would help with that. Precision Nanon Fingers are indeed additive. If I recall, they actually add twice the base value of your odds. So in your case every pair adds +10% crit chance and +12% delimbening chance.
@@Rogue_Rat I wonder if it's random and you just had bad luck. You got a couple of Zetachrome shanks (from memory) even with the teeth equipped. Otherwise, maybe it picks the one at the top of the equipment list (the alternative view to the paperdoll).
I've never needed mumblemouth to find them before, so I plan on just getting lucky haha. The only one hard to find is Shug'ruith as they can be anywhere on the map
I am genuinely curious, with all the loot that could be broken down into bits in the tomb, is there a reason you just leave it all lying around? There were some pretty good bits in there, saw some 6's and such. Is it just to save time for your videos or something?

I always wanted to do this, but I never find gas tumblers when I'm running corrosive!

Herododicus sneakily planted a few fungal spores in the oesophagus to discredit Resheph.

I just got the cheevo for giving the device to each of the four. Every time I've found it, it was on the first floor.
Yeah I've only ever seen K Goninon on the bottom floor in the catacombs, too! It's okay, I'll likely go back and find him at some point :)
good vid as always, honestly u could get anoither nearby slot and try chiral rings, ive heard they can also dismember so that could be cool.
Yeah I'll give them a go until we get something nicer :)
@@Rogue_Rat awesome sauce :D
I kinda wonder if Shank goes by the most recently equipped item?
According to my testing, no :( It almost always defaults to a face item bizarrely

It's mostly to save time, yes! I'm going to head back in at some point to grab the mask, and I'll probably go around and grab/rip apart the rest :)
@@Rogue_Rat Cool, I was wondering if I was missing something very obvious or if at some point the bits were just useless for further upgrades.
