My theory is they were hoping to keep Cooper Healthy for the season in the chance they made it to the playoffs. They’ll probably have him turn the burners up so they can make a playoff run
@@trudaGame-uh7fn I totally agree. The Rams did enough to win the last three games. McVay didn't want to show any of his great plays only in the playoffs. Good Rams!!
I’ve been saying this for the longest. Even while Kupp and Nacua were out I’m seeing he’s not running his whole offense/ playbook. That way when they make it to the playoffs he can unleash his best plays. I think people underestimate a season long adjustment/ strategy. I think that 1st playoff game they will dog walk their opponent. Hopefully it’s the Lions
In 2 other situations like this, McVay rested everyone. He doesn’t play starters in preseason. He doesn’t play starters in games that don’t matter. He’ll rest everyone.
McVay pulled out all the stops on offense in the game with Buffalo, so you know McVay can go toe to toe with anybody. However the three games since the game with the Bills, McVay has played conservative to say the least on offense. I expect to see McVay open things up on offense again in the playoffs, like he did on the Buffalo game.
I agree. That’s why it seems they all play to their competition. Exclude the Eagles game bc he played musical chairs with the o line against the best D in the NFC
You can tell they are haters, because all they do is talk about the offense SINCE we beat Buffalo. Lets talk about that DEFENSE. No respect? Gave up 40 points in 3 games. Guess we don't need the O to carry us. Sorry it does not help your fantasy team.
Kupp is fine. Cooper Kupp is a 1st rate #2 wr. With Stafford being slightly immobile and the Rams RT, Rob Havenstein, being either hurt or missing the last 4 games, Stafford hasn't had enough time to find Kupp.
Rams need to acquire more weapons in the draft/free agency. A burner/ vertical deep threat, an hybrid deebo-type running back to increase unpredictability and more o line depth that to improve the run and pass blocking. I think they're a year away
Rams already have a better version of Deebo in Puka. They do need the big burner vertical threat. They also need to throw deeper routes to Tutu and Robinson early in the game now that the line is healthy to stretch the field to open up the underneath and run game.
I didn't have a problem with Kinchens taking the INT, rather than swatting the ball away. You never know where a swat on a jump ball like that will end up. I do wonder why he gave himself up so easily on the return, though. Looked like he could have got much better field position for the offense. I think Stafford and Kupp are playing through injuries, for sure. As well as being sloppily executed, the first half playcalling has looked suspiciously bland, almost preseason-like. It'll be interesting to see if that happens in the playoff game(s). Is McVay merely protecting his beat-up stars or hoping to catch an opponent off-guard with some innovations he hasn't shown on recent film ? Worth noting that every possible first round opponent is led/coordinated by a former Ram coach, former NFCW coach , or a team he's played multiple times in the last 2-3 years.
lol 😂 how come it’s a surprise to anyone out whole o line and both wrs were out the first five weeks we got healthy and bullied everyone!! and people doubting the rams is just dumb we beat the viking and bills and they get called super bowl contenders all the time 😂
Anyone who watched that game knows the rams aren’t doing shit this year. Basically got dominated the whole game then lucked out at the end all with no James conor 😬
Wish I could make you put your money where your uninformed mouth is. You sound like a seagull or 69er, or house of cards fan. Watch the real teams in the playoffs. You may learn something.
Lets go Rams , Rest starters. !

Let's Go Rams! Showtime with Jimmy G!
Mcvay might not want to show anything new before the playoffs.

From 1-4 to clinching a playoff spot (with help) before the final game of the season. Incredible.

The biggest blunder was not running it. 1st down on the 5yd line with 2 time outs??? I couldnt believe my eyes when i saw them throw it. 😅
Remember when they drafted Fiske?? Gave too much 😅

@joeyyoung8796 pukas great but he's pretty much the whole offense. They used to have a 1 2 punch with kupp but he's clearly washed now

I watched. Watch us win. Now cry for your scrub team, that did not make it again. Watch us roll when it matters, sweetheart.
It's amazing how many times the Rams "lucked out" this year. 9-2 since the bye, win by 1, win by 30, all count the same.
I recall Connor coming in for a fourth and 1. Turnover on downs.
Rams are not contenders they’re getting bounced first round
Rams Nation 🎉🎉🎉 Super Bowl 59 Bound . Rams all the way !!!
