Lions fan here: I cannot be more proud and excited for this showdown against the Vikings next weekend. These are two entirely deserving teams competing for the #1 seed, from the same division. This is monumental and perhaps the greatest playoff implication game in the history of the Superbowl era. Love from Michigan, and may the best team win.
Bills fan here and REALLY looking forward to that game as well. EPIC situation and I can't wait for it. Best of luck to you guys.
Vikings fan here, excited for the matchup. No matter who wins I think we will be given a great game!!
Detroit fan here, but I'm a 38 year transplant in Minneapolis.
I'm going to have friends over for an epic game!
Winner gets the next week off
And the playoff road goes through you
Such an important game
lions should rest today .... 1 seed still in hand with a loss...
I'm a Packers fan and we are going to be a 12 win 7th seed. The NFL absolutely should NOT change its playoff seeding method. The division system is such a huge advantage over other leagues, it keeps way more fanbases engaged far longer into the season. While the NBA's playoff seeding method was so boring and excluded so many teams so early that the NBA has had to add a "play in tournament" to try (and fail) spice things up.
Without the division system this years playoffs would've been pretty much decided a month ago, so this would've been all but the fans of the 7 NFC playoff teams checked out of the regular season by the start of December. Last nights Commanders Vs Falcons game would've been totally meaningless rather than deciding the fates of 5 teams. Think about that, the fanbases of 5 teams were glued to their screens hoping and praying for a certain outcome, with the division system no one would've cared.
I agree. I also just think it’s generally more interesting this way. I like that a “lesser” team gets a chance in the playoffs as long as they win their division. Unfortunately some years you’re going to have divisions that have 2 or 3 great teams like this year and it technically isn’t going to be fair for 1-2 of them, but hey. Should have played better 🤷🏼 lol ultimately you just have to win your division and it doesn’t matter anyway. You get nearly half your season to knock the other teams out anyway.
💯 on the fan engagement. It keeps 4 whole media markets involved when they would otherwise check out.
Agree, mate. Plus, if the NFC South hadn't been so terrible for so long then nobody would be talking about this.
I think it would be a system where you are guaranteed a playoff spot for winning your division but then they seed them 1-7 regardless of division
I can buy into the argument that each division winner gets a playoff bid, but not an automatic 4 seed or better, with its home field advantage. Give them a wildcard berth, but nothing more. In a league where the thinnest of arbitrary tiebreaker rules can keep a team out vs an equally qualified team, receiving home field advantage over a team with 3-4 more wins just makes no sense. Particularly when their division opponents have a combined 14-34 record.
Always fun listening to these two go after each other as they OVERREACT, to everything... it's too much. Fun!
Here’s my Overreaction Monday Overreaction:
Sean Payton should have gone for 2 and the win late in regulation
or done any clock management in OT. Bengals had 3 OT possessions lol i
Not an overreaction. If you're the road team, going up against an elite QB (Burrow), you don't even give him a chance in OT.
Absolutely 💯
The only thing that guy should go for is retirement number 2.
@@TheLumpyOne Exactly! Like when Burrow did against the Ravens...Oh wait...crap
The nfl does not need to mess with seeding. The nfl is the only sport where divisions matter when it comes to seeding and it’s clearly better than all the others. If you change the seeding to nba style like people think they want just because a 14 win team is gonna go on the road then get rid of divisions
💯 no point even playing your division rivals twice at that point.
Nah... The happy medium is division champs get into the playoffs, but no guarantee of a home game.
Absolute minimum they should ignore seeds after the wild card round - so they all get their one home game then it's best records for home field
@@tanktronic the higher seed automatically gets the home game. Cardinals beat the Eagles in the NFC Championship fame
I think they could still have some sort of record trump where a 14 win team doesn't have to be on the road all playoffs. not completely mess with all the seeding but have some sort of trump rule for teams who have a certain win threshold get to host at least one playoff game over 9-7 teams in a terrible division
Or how about just leaving it alone if you want a home game win your division stop complaining about going on the road just because you 13 or 14 games and not win your division
Saying "Eric Dickerson's record has to be broken in 16 games" when OJ's original record was done in 14 games is just silly Rich, stop it.
Also if he does break it, it would be in less carries. And he definitely could’ve got another 50 yards if they played him the majority of the 4th quarter yesterday
It was stupid then and is stupid now. Saquon can set the 17 game "record", but nothing is being broken.
Heck and the previous rushing record before OJ was done in 12 games. This whole conversation is stupid. For all we know if those guys had extra games they could have gotten injured. A record is a record. That's like saying Motorsport records can't be broken because the engines and technology are better today.
I look at it in terms of carries, not games. OJ got to 2,000 in just 332 carries. It took Saquon 345, and Dickerson took 352 carries to reach 2,000. Jim Brown reached 1,863 yards in just 291 carries. If he had played another game he probably would have hit 2,000 on about 320 carries. All major accomplishments...not an easy feat.
Well, it wasn't Freeman McNeil or some other Jet.
But seriously, yeah, any back who can get 2,000 yards in a pass-happy league is incredible. If anything, it's more impressive now. Teams ran 53% of the time in 1963 (Brown's record year). It's about 45% now. Also, different eras, rules, playing surfaces and technology. Just enjoy what you're watching.
Thank you guys for bringing up the short week issue. Honestly it feels like 7-8 teams this season have had to play 3 games in 10/11 days whatever it is. That is so insanely destructive and a real disadvantage to those teams. Please just introduce a second bye week and prioritize rest after short weeks.
I will never understand how Mike Vrabel is still job hunting.
Probably much like belichick, wants more control than the only teams with coaching openings want to give. Along with the allure offensive minded coaches give to owners.
It’s probably why we ended up with Raheem. Willing to just slot into Arthur smiths spot rather than change some things around.
You guys gotta show the original clips when looking back at previous overreactions. The whole beauty of this show is watching Rich and Chris talk it out.
LOVE!!!!! RICH'S SANCTITY RANT OF WHAT THE NFL MEANS!!!!
The nfl honestly has the least broken playoff formate tbh, divisional games and rivalries actually matter in the grand scope of the season. Even when a bad team sneaks into the playoffs Im gonna watch cause the bad team could pull off a miracle!
Nah, there should be changes. A wild card should be the ones with the 5th, 6th and 7th best records. Not the 2nd best record.
Also, the playoffs should not be a set deal. The highest seed should always play the lowest seed. i.e. the packers at 7 beat the Eagles at 2, the packers would play whoever ends up being 1 between Lions and Vikings, but if the eagles win they would play the 2nd lowest seed remaining and the lowest seed remaining would play the 1st seed. Essentially, recreating the playoff bracket after each round.
@itsRiske11 Vikings and lions play for the 1 seed this week, if they lose then they have no one else to blame. System is working just fine.
@@Btwixed whoever loses should be the 2 seed, not the 5. Having the 2nd best record in the league shouldn't mean you play on the road the entire playoffs.
@@itsRiske11as a Packers fan, in the division. I want the divisional games to matter for more than just bragging rights. The wild card seeding, just getting in the playoffs works just fine. The NFL isn't like baseball or basketball who play 100 games a season. I don't want there format
@collinbradford8866 the schedule can still remain the same. The lions vikings game should be determining the top 2 seeds in the playoffs, not 1 and 5. You shouldn't win 4 more games than someone else and have to go play in their stadium.
No more games on short rest can be accomplished by having a second bye week for every team and then schedule teams on Thursday (or whatever) who had a bye the previous week
Then you get the super bowl on the Sunday before President's Day, which would be awesome
I believe the players union voted against that. The nflpa has to be one of the worst unions in professional sports.
@@dkb138 They could always start a week or two earlier
When everything is said and done? "When everything is said and done, there's nothing left to say or do", Daryl Dawkins (Chocolate Thunder). An all-time great quote I can't avoid every time I hear, "when everything is said and done". Thanks, Daryl. There are several teams including all three NFC North qualifiers with a completely legitimate shot to win the Superbowl.
I'm so excited for the Vikings vs Lions rematch. This is what a late game divisional game should be at its peak. Heavy playoff implications between two playoff clinched teams that could decide the entire race to the SB. Getcha popcorn ready!
Always love these ORM's!!!
Perfect Super Bowl matchup: Vikings vs Bills
Keep in mind, I'm a skins/commanders fan. it's not realistic to think we can make that long of a run.
Vikings and Bills are the 2 teams who are 0-4 in SB's, so how great would it be for those 2 fanbases to know that one of them is finally guaranteed to get off the mat and be victorious. I would enjoy that matchup a lot, both teams are explosive, so it should be a great game to watch.
I actually very much agree with this train of thought. In addition, you'd had the much maligned Sam Darnold with this years rebirth potentially winning a ring to prove his detractors wrong vs the Josh Allen "next years champion/MVP" discussion. Whoever wins, we all win because its new blood in the SB.
If you wanna talk long-suffering fan bases, a Lions-Browns Super Bowl would be the ultimate. (I realize that's not happening this year.) As a fellow Commanders fan, I've felt a lot of goodwill from other teams' fans coming our way. They seem to sympathize with our decades in the wilderness.
what about the lions though.
Another low key HC for NE is Brian Flores, arguably the most successful branch of the Belichick tree. He's also a phenomenal talent evaluator. As a Vikings fan, I will hate to see him eventually leave, but he deserves another shot as a HC.
There are guys that can only be Coordinators. They are typically GREAT coordinators. But they cannot transition to HC. They are 2 different skill sets. I hope Flores realizes this.
He's not hc material. Ask any miami dolphin fan or player.
@@JustinPartlow-m6z I don't disagree. He wasn't HC material then, although he wasn't horrible, but he deserves another shot. Some great HCs didn't work out at their first stops. Again, I hope he stays the Vikings DC for the rest of his career.
@@JustinPartlow-m6zso you’re saying Tua is a franchise QB?
@@burgersworth4870 The offensive line has been trash in Miami. Tua is pretty good when healthy.
No way saquan sits out the last game to break the record against the team that let him go
Its so great to see patriots fans go through what the majority of nfl fans have to go through and them crashing out cause they’re not used to it
@estebantoledo411 I was prepared for the team to go downhill fast after Brady left. It's a tough pill to swallow, but at least we get the No. 1 draft pick out of it. Unless the Pats find a way to screw it all up with a win against the Bills of course...
You're telling your age without saying it. Patriots were the doormat for many years before Brady years
@@j_trav9480 There's always that chance! I'm old enough to remember that the Eagles seemed to have locked in on the misery that was being a top pick in the draft. A win or two later, OJ Simpson goes to the Bills and the Eagles drafted a bust in Leroy Keyes. Those fans were beyond pissed they won those meaningless games...
Patriots fan. The stands at Gillette are half empty right now on gameday. Jarod Mayo can't recover from that.
Winning fixes that. The question is if Jarod can explain and sell to management/ownership, his "plan" to fix the team.
People said the Lions season was over when Hutchinson got hurt so this was not expected like this.
Excellent division argument by the one and only Rich Eisen.
Lmfaoooo Washington going the farthest 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Here’s my overreaction take-Saquan Barkley’s and Derrick Henry’s success this year proves that the workhorse running back is back!
I think it proves just how unvaluable a running back is. The Eagles were better two years ago than they are this year with a no name running back in Baltimore were way way way better last year than they were this year.
I almost blew coffee out of my nose when Chris said he thought Drake maye was Josh Allen, Justin Herbert, Jayden Daniel's kinda player... they won 3 games and got "last in the NFL"😂
tell me you've never actually watched Maye play. -Brockman
We'll see by this time next year
The NFL is the only league where divisions mean anything. Maybe it's silly but definitely a great part of the NFL and it's why division games are great no matter what teams are involved.
Mlb it matters. Obviously alot more games so they're not as meaningful but like the nfl, mlb division games mean almost 2x as much as another game
NHL too
Divisions only mean nothing in the NBA. Division winners in NBA and NHL get an automatic playoff berth and home field/ice advantage. Division games in the NFL “mean more” because every game in the NFL means more cause there’s so few of them.
Absolutely stellar discussion topics from CB
Awesome. Thank you!
The idea that any of the playoff teams are worried about the Bangles is hilarious. They are 1-7 against current playoff teams. 😂😂😂😂😂
The only people who laugh at this know nothing about how this regular season played out for the Bengals. The majority of those games were coin flips. The playoffs are one and done. It's perfectly logical
As a chiefs fan, the bengals are always dangerous for us even when they aren't that good. They're not the biggest threat but i wouldn't overlook them either.
Bungles
Finally someone who has some sense. They literally just beat a bunch of nobodies and people are hyping them up 🤣
26:44 OJ Simpson holds the record for the greatest single-season for rushing take his average and prorate it forward for another two games and it's clear that he had the greatest single season. Its not close. He 2k in 14 games his average is crazy
Exactly. If he had two more games that year the way he was running, the record would be totally out of reach for anybody.
They should never do away with the division winner getting into the playoffs by right, but the seeding should be on win/loss merit.
As a Bills fan, the thought of Cincinnati still having a chance to make the playoffs absolutely terrifies me.
That game in the snow where Cincy whooped em in the divisional round still in the recent memory? Cause yeah if the bengals make the playoffs they’re playing with nothing to lose
That made me feel a little better, hearing the thought that KC probably doesn't want to see Cinci either. Will be interesting to see if KC goes to a very vanilla pre-season like play calling on Sunday to help avoid winning, ensuring no Burrow in the playoffs.
Lol, the Bengals have no defense. If anything, the bills fans should fear the dolphins match up
@@Asteroid-rp2jg McDermott has proven he's got McDaniels' system figured out. They have not proven that they can stop the Bengals though, so that's a tougher match, 'cause Josh can't slip up on offense at all.
As a chiefs fan I can concur
Dickerson set the record in 16 games, beating OJs record he set in 14 games and there is no asterisk beside his record. Saquon has a chance to break the record in less attemps. Thats the thing.
There absolutely is an *. If you need 16 games to beat a 14 game record or 17 games to beat a 16 game record, you get an *.
@RageDaug Then why does nobody talk about it. Why is it just Dickersons record?
@@RageDaugIt’ll be in less attempts so no. No asterisk
@@wtcher2060 It's more. OJ averaged 6.0.
OJ got to 2000 in 2 less games AND with less carries.
If they want to keep thursday games, it should be mandatory the team is coming off a bye, which means there can't be any thursday games after the last bye week. (Would maybe consider allowing it if team played previous saturday, when saturday games kick in). It may be a scheduling nightmare, but if not done it cheapens the product
100%
I wish they would move off of Thursday games and move it to Saturday night. This last Saturday night game was amazing
25:30 Rich, it happened last year in the AFCCG, Zay Flowers fumbled it into the endzone and it killed the Ravens' hopes of coming back. The rule is fine, the offense has more than enough help. Protect the ball at the endzone.
You mentioned The Gambit! Oh la you do the Channing so proud.
Chiefs aren’t resting to eliminate the Bengals lol they aren’t scared of them. Geez. It is a coincidence. They were resting players no matter what
Sure buddy
Let the bengals cope bro. People have greatness fatigue.
@@oskarfahsholtz7765Considering the Chiefs have won the last 3 meetings including a post-season win, I’m not sure I agree with your take? The bengals’ entire identity seems to be “we beat Mahomes in the playoffs once.”
@@oskarfahsholtz7765The chiefs are gonna win with backups anyways. If that happens it’s going to be the dolphins that make it. That’s good for the Chiefs bc we are really scared of a team that has the worst defense in the league and has beaten one team with a winning record 😂
I think the superbowl should be played in all weather conditions as they do in the regular seasons.
Kevin Oconnell coach of the year definitely
if he beats the lions who don’t have a defense he’ll get it, but thats harder then it looks. it took mvp josh allen to beat them by 6
@@bradpattan9300 How would KOC need to win a 15th game to win coach of the year? The vikings were expected to be 6.5 game winners in the preseason. They've more than doubled that.
@itsRiske11 lions have had the worse injured defense most of the year and they're still winning. I would say KOC if it wasn't for that but if Dan Campbell gets the 1 seed and clinches the north, and sweep the north with that broken defense, then it should go to him. It went to stefanski last year who made the playoffs with a broken offense.
Dan Quinn should get a nod too
@drumms22 it went to stefanski because the browns weren't expected to do anything, similar to the vikings this year. A team that goes in with great expectations and matches those expectations isn't worthy of a COY bid.
The fumble into the endzone happened to the Chiefs last year, and it didn't change.
The rule is fine. Hold onto the ball.
I think they should make it tougher. If you fumble it out of bounds anywhere then it's a turnover
And it happened to jefferson vs the eagles I believe
Saquon's best revenge is sitting on the sideline in a t-shirt for the Giants game saying, "my new team is so good, I didn't even have to prepare to play you today".
Brockman was on point in this episode.
Joe B. Is definitely MVP. No question.
Welcome back rich !
For all the arguments about the rushing record, there is no disputing that neither OJ,SB, ED (all truly great) were as good as Barry Sanders or Walter Payton.
My 3 year old and I listening to you in the car after pick up. She heard your voice and said "I think that's the grinch"
As a Broncos fan, I wish Cinci getting in didn't have to mean we were out because man I want to watch Burrow in the playoffs
I watch these just to count how many times Rich says "the flagship show"
NFL records: Since the number of games played in a regular season changes over time, NFL records such as rushing yards should be calculated in "per attempts" and not the way they are now.
"Kelsey's playing himself into shape." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
On the territory analogy - after winning that home division territory, the division winner deserves the opportunity to defend their territory.

That cause no one prepare to gameplan for him cause he suck, that why he is not MVP.
No they're not
He’s not even the most valuable player on the Vikings lol Jefferson and Aaron jones are more Valuable to the team IMO
I love Sam darnold but he hasn’t had a better season than burrow Jackson or Allen. He might not even be the mvp over saquon if those qbs weren’t ahead of him.
I agree
Overreaction Monday should be in the next Madden
A1. I will say though for those four teams in that 3 to 4 day turnaround. That was insane. I honestly want to believe that when it came to scheduling, they were like: okay yeah two games on Christmas. they just were, you know, out of sight, out of mind doing the scheduling. Without realizing when Christmas fell.
Hearing that the next couple of Christmas' are Thursdays and Fridays gives me hope that that will be okay going forward.
The AFC South. The perennial powerhouse!
Josh Allen Gets his MVP/His first 💍/Superbowl MVP! This is his year!!!!
Unlike the NBA, the NFL teams do not tank because no one wants to look bad on film.
I think there's more incentives too. You got young players who even starting a full season might guarantee them a bigger check. The NBA a player casually misses 40 games with a hanged toenail and it hardly impacts their bottom line. I could be mistaken about that.
So we are going to point out that Saquon had 1 more game than E.D. to break the rushing record, but omit the fact that E.D. had 2 extra games to break the previous record, AND currently has about 40 more attempts than Saquon at this point.
Let Saquon break the record, and shut down all these haters.
Love it I wish these stats were talked about more I never knew this and it makes me respect the amount of yards he has even more
Don't forget about O.J. He did it in 14 games.
Its not hating to say you cant break a record when you have an entire extra game. Also the fact that OJ is psychopathic murderer is probably why people dont care about ED "breaking" it. Nobody brings up OJ ever. Its a unique situation.
I agree with Chris. It's bad enough most games overall this year have been less than crisp, adding a game with four games rest adds literal insult to injury.
100% on board with no TNF after Thanksgiving.
NBA. Have your Christmas Games. You’re mid-season.
Thanksgiving is the playoff push. Stop the short weeks.
King Dunlap former lineman said it on the Raw Room podcast, that 4 days between games is not enough and that players like him were still recovering from the prior game and later in the season it matters more.
Divisions are important for the teams, the NFL and, especially the fans. This year seems particularly extreme, BUT it gives every division and their fans a shot at the SB. The happier the fans, the happier the NFL wallet. For teams, it gives them their first goal of the year and something to be proud of if they make it.
I'm a Bengals fan, and I get the idea of "Burrow should be MVP if they make the playoffs" but I still think Saquon should be MVP this year. Stick it to all the devaluing of RBs and he's definitely played at that level.
Plus we can give Joe that extra motivation in the playoffs if he doesn't get MVP. Although the way he plays, I think if he got MVP, he'd be like "well I better win the whole damn thing then" and still find some other level to elevate his game.
I agree short week games are bad late but the reason for them is because teams like their salary cap going up and these games make a ton of money
"Some of these divisions are terrible!" -- Chris Brockman. He's not wrong!

Oconnell or McDermott are more deserving than anyone else. The coach of the year should be one of those two
Just a reminder its been 726 days since the Bengals beat Mahomes. Not a soul in Kansas City is changing their week 18 plans to account for them.
Terry McLaurin might have ruined my championship aspirations. Worst game of the year from him. I’m up by 7 points against Jameson Williams tonight :/
No one cares about your fantasy team
I feel your frustration. Has the worst game of year when we needed him the most.
AJ Tyrell was all over him last night.
At this point there is a depth of Running Backs available in the next Draft. I think the Patriots should trade the Number 1 for the best combination of quality present players and Draft choices. Then take the best RB still on the board when their first turn comes up.
24:38 on the topic of number of games, OJ has the real record here with the year he went over 2k yards in 14 games in 73. That’s the highest average per games in season rushing yards in a season ever.
Have to agree, number of games doesn’t matter as much as yards per carry. Saquon has 101 fewer yards through 16 games than Dickerson did, but he’s got 35 fewer carries so it’s easy to argue his season is already just as good if not better than the record season.
I totally disagree with Rich Eisen on Saquon Barkley, He should go for the record. That record is not only a RB record, it represents his Offensive lineman and the entire organisation

Not a ghost of a chance. When you win the Superbowl and are the preseason favorite to repeat its kinda hard to exceed expectations. Its laughable to even mention him given what the leading candidates have accomplished with what they had to work with.
Because everyone is sick of the chiefs getting every call
If it is anyone from the Chiefs it should be Spags. He's the best DC in the league.
I would love a Chiefs/Vikings rematch!
McDermott doesnt deserve COY possibly? team that was picked to finish 3rd in the AFCE, lost a bunch of starters, captains, bunch of no names on offense. sure he has Allen but thats quite the record they have, beating the Chefs and Lions.
Andy Reid lost his No.1 and 2 Wr's. No.1 running back. Left tackle, right tackle, no.2 DB and just got his edge rusher back, and still just wrapped up the number 1 seed.
If Andy isn't even in the running its a meaningless award.
@@TrinityMThomas To TR75's point, the Chiefs were still picked by many in the preseason to reach the Superbowl. That said, they were riddled with injuries this year (much like the Bills), and I can definitely see an argument for McDermott or Reid to get it based on what they have done with the resources available.
To me it should be Dan Quinn. I saw his no fear on 4th down early in yesterdays game. That team was...despicably bad the year prior. But I think its going to be hard to keep it away from O'Connell.
Also the KC point by Trinity is a bit of a wild take. That team was still considered at worst a deep playoff contender entering the season. We're talking about coaches that have beaten expectations. They weren't picked 3rd or 4th in their division. Sure, they won a couple more games (whether fans want to accept it or not) then probably expected. But not in the same vein as teams like D.C and Minnesota. The former of which is greatly indicative of a culture change.
27:00 Rich, the reward for winning the division *is* a playoff spot. That should be plenty enough.
My proposal: Division winner #3 gets a home game no matter what. #4 only gets a home game, if #5 (best wild card team) has same or worse record.
I’m with rich. If you can’t beat the teams in your own division, you do not deserve a home playoff game. Packers clobbered the league but couldn’t get ahead of their own division. Rams had a tough start, but dominated the West. That means more to me, and thus they earned a home playoff game.
They should change the rule that Any fumble out of bounds is a turnover. Force offenses to be responsible for maintaining possession.
Vikings vs Lions gonna be a shootout in the dome
Ukraine deserves all our support. Just like the NFL fans deserve high quality games the league also wants wants to look good in all the games the last 2-3 weeks of reg. season ending, and playoffs are set.
I just marked it in my calendar that Chris mentioned the Chiefs without an additional "luck" statement.
Rich, don't break an ankle jumping from Lion wagon to Minn's. Should stick to your convictions, Lions roll at home after demolishing SF. One pride
Saquon is saying to the Giants by not playing "I don't think about you at all".
Yes, this is what I came to the comments to say as well. Saquon's best revenge is sitting on the sideline in a t-shirt for the Giants game saying, "my new team is so good, I didn't even have to prepare to play you today".
As a Denver fan, I desperately want us to make it. But if there is any team I’d miss it for, it’d be Burrow and the Bengals. Bro is a controversial PI on 4th & 16, a 2 point conversion and a muffed hold in OT away from beating KC in Arrowhead and sweeping the Ravens despite a terrible defense: he’s playing out of his mind lmao
Chiefs fan here. Bring on Burrow! It s just like when the Chiefs were battling Brady as a Patriot. To be the best, you gotta beat the best. Was losing to Brady hard? Hell yes. But it made winning eventually that much sweeter.
Saquon is breaking the record with FEWER carries. This obsession with 16 games is absurd. Dickerson Brooke OJ's record that was achieved in 14 games, but nobody talks about that. 🙄
Saquon is 5th place in YPC. 4 players have finished their record breaking seasons with 6.0 YPC or more. So yeah, whatever metric you go on, Saquon's only record would be total yards and he needed extra games to get it.
@RageDaug alright Giants fan. Reaching really far for a reason to bring a man down.
Carries is what matters. If you notice, saquon has almost 30 carries less than dickerson had at 16 games. Essentially an extra game worth… i think it’s worthy to get it then just sit since it’s the new jersey giants.
