Missing a jump is so annoying but Ember has grown up so much especially with his confidence and you are both looking better as a pair
thanks for sharing what the clickbait title was about, much better
He’s amazing 🥹
@izzyr3231 not clickbait if it actually happened 😂
I am in awe of how you Eventers remember dressage tests, showjumping courses & then cross-country fences. Being 64, suffering from "Fibromyalgia Fog," medication side effects & and post-menopause, I frequently go into the kitchen & I can't remember why🫣. I think you have done an awesome job with Ember. He looks fantastic & tries so hard. There was a marked difference with the new bit. Am sure 2025 will bring much deserved success for you both. Great job, Lucy (& of course Ember)❤
I’m 47, but I have the EXACT same issues! I wouldn’t even be able to remember where the different areas were (dressage, show jumping, and cross country), much less remember my dressage test and jumping courses! I get most of my steps in these days by walking back and forth to different parts of the barn, wondering why I’ve gone to the tack room, then making it to the office before I remember I meant to put my bridle away! 😂 Then throw in fibromyalgia and arthritic knees and spine, and NO WAY am I walking a cross country course multiple times AND riding three phases in one day! Someone would have to put down a crash mat so I could roll off my horse, and then carry me to the passenger seat of my car and drive me home. I’d spend the next week crippled and alternating between icing/heating my knees and back. Nope, I think I’ve aged out of attempting eventing! Good job to you young ones with your endurance and (mostly) memorization skills! 😅 I’m teasing, Lucy!
I love the fact you walk it, say its a nice curvy line, and still miss it xD
We've all been there
I KNOW 😂😂 And digging at myself for missing a fence last time 🥴🥴
@@footluceeventingwe LITERALLY have ALL done it! I’ve forgotten a fence in show jumping before! Talk about embarrassing! 😂
Wow! I remember leading you over a 60cm fence at Great Witchingham last season, when I was fence judging, now look at you go! Well done, and excited for your 2025 season! ❤
That's what I was thinking! Ember's come so far since then!
Missing the jump is annoying, but goodness how much Ember has improved! You look so much more "together" and Ember is clearly loving his eventing. Excited for what's to come.
Ember is looking very professional these days, huge changes since last year! 💖
Soooo much progress 😍
@@footluceeventing I think you've stolen someone else's horse!! 🤣🤣🤣
Well done Lucy and Ember x despite the disappearing fence you did an excellent job. Ember is looking mighty fine. Looking forward to seeing you conquer the Arena Eventing this winter. Keep smiling, much love ❤️ 🐎🐴👍❤️
To be honest don’t feel bad, I’m amazed that you have remembered almost all of them. When you did the walk around I was like “I wouldn’t remember the second obstacle”. You both did great! ☺️
I drove two hours in a friends lorry with a pure bred irish draught, warmed up with pippa funnell, so excited to be there that I jumped a jump in the wrong direction, eliminated......so with bell ringing I continued to jump various jumps in any order to get my moneys worth. No shame. I even got recognised burger van queue as the gurl who wouldnt leave 😂 Well done you. It happens to us all ❤
I LOVE this! 😂 Might as well keep jumping while you’re already there! 😂 I have a friend with epilepsy, and she took her medication too late the night before. So she went in to do her 80 cm show jump round on my sweetest horse, but could only see out of one eye! So my friend made up most of the last half of the course herself, including jumping the same jump twice! But she rode well, got great distances, and came out of the arena smiling and laughing! 😂We all had fun, and isn’t that one of the biggest reasons we ride and compete?
Im just so gobsmacked at how incredible Amber is looking and how well you are riding him and what a beautiful couple you make... Great editing VideO you made Molly laugh and your laid back attitude and funniness always wins the day.. bravO great end of the season he is a new horse.. 🐎💜💯
Ember lol
Fab vlog Lucy you and Ember are truly the best team sod missing the jump. Enjoy the ball and have lots of fun never be embarrassed just brush it off and start a new day .🤗🏇🤗
I love watching you two!!
His brave and your even more so🤣
Love to see how much fun you get from riding this little chap
lol not a boring moment!!!!
Oh no, LOL!!! Oh well, you pair look amazing together now and what a turn around from 12 months ago! He's loving life and looks stunning now, love his little belly 🥰 You should take him showing over the winter!
I love Ember's expression whenever he finishes a phase-he looks so proud of himself . You've done so well with him! Molly's filming is great, too!🧡🧡🧡
You both looked great cross country so pleased your winning with the control in the canter. I work with racehorses so I know exactly how Ember would feel to ride …. the word that often comes to mind is impossible 😂 I can see how he tries to evade you, you do an unbelievable job with him 👌
Wow that's a BIG difference since ,since swipe up and kick on. You and Amber have come on such a long way . 😊😊 s.j. well done is that one down ? C.x. well tried I addmeryou for sharing your journey . Take care and all the best .😄😄😄👍👍👍👍❤❤🐶
This was a treat to watch!! Your music selection is prefect! The loo scene 🤣😂!! Seeing the huge improvements with Ember is a big credit to you! The "oh well" moment is just one of those things i would of had too!! Just enjoying how wonderful the xc round was going and then boom "what the heck"!! Congrats to the team for a (almost) prefect season!
You have both come so far.. it is now more teamwork. You are amazing..both of you.
Bit of a heartbreaker for sure, but you two are looking fantastic! He's such a talented jumper and he's having some fancy, swingy moments in dressage! I love him and you do an excellent job with him. Onward and upward!
Missing a fence, we’ve all done it, no biggie! You made it around clearly and it was gorgeous. Well done!!
Congratulations amazing, just love how much Ember loves you and you him.❤❤❤
Oh Lucy! 😅. Let's all follow the numbers. It's been a great season for Ember. He has learnt so much, as have you. Love his flicky toe action. Looking forward to the winter activities and next season. Well done. ❤
Ember was flying over the cross country wasn't he? Straight down into the water at a canter, no slowing down. He is so brave. I think you are also very brave for riding him. He certainly is your Best Boy 💖💖💖💖
😮 Lucy! Lucy! Lucy! What are we going to do with you?! 😂 Ember went really well too! 😊 xOx
Aww what a shame, oh well a little blip and good luck for next season xxx
Loved you smiling up the final centre line. Made me laugh 😂
Ah it’s lovely to hear you won’t be selling your beautiful Ember X
You are such an amazing rider!
Ember is such a game horse, you've done a wonderful job with him! A little glitch, no big deal!
A much more even performance in all 3 phases, well done Lucy, big improvements. 👏🏻.
You're smiling and Ember is happy so a great day was had by all x.
Never mind, you should be so proud of how far you have come in such a short space of time with him, well done x
The teamwork has improved immensely. Mistakes happen! Next year is coming soon!
Lucy, Ember is,such a,sweet boy, so genuine! Every event, he improves. BTW, you saying " young people don't drink k enough water, cracked me up. Youth is such a relative thing LOL
Regardless of the E he looked still strong but more consistent in his cross country. He's going to be a superstar and you have both come a LONG way so far!! You should definitely be proud of yourselves!
So much steadier cross country. So well done 💜💜💜🇮🇪
I thought you both looked so good!😃
What an awesome venue to have locally.
I take the plaits out straight after dressage too for the same reason!
Records are for losers!! (Until you’re a winner 😂)
You & Ember look incredible xx
Definitely has steaded up cross country 👍, dressage 👌, shame to have had the one pole down, but how Well have you both improved, 🥂🍾💐👏👏👏👏👏, more too come next season ,🏇X
Ember was a good boy... too bad about the mistake, we all have them from time to time. At least I do!
Ohhh can't wait to watch what happened! I saw the live results! You were storming it until ?????
Lucy, you salute the judge at C first, and then turn your head towards E and salute that judge.
Thanks for clarifying, I wasn’t sure either!
What about Britney, oops I did it again? Ye looked fantastic and so well put together. He looks so well and muscular. It's all a work in progress
Sorry it didn't all go to plan but well done to Ember who went brilliantly! Better look next time! 😊
It happens and it happens - but you two are coming along great ... Be kind to yourself.
I have never ridden in anything other than a 60x20, even at low levels. It can be done, but I have never seen it 🤣 that would seem so small
😀😀😀😀😀
BUT you were brill otherwise, num nut. EMBER is such a wooden, well done on the training Nd shopping bits .!!!!😅😊🎉
He’s such a pretty mover!
I have had horses that start out tense, what worked for me was a lot of down transitions as opposed to staying in trot and staying in that tense situations? Also long and low. He was so behind your leg, he needed to get out there long and low and steady. good luck, lovely horse
Loved the vlog but the big question is did Molly get to the ball???
Nice extended walk and halt!
Easily done xxxxxxx
Ember has definitely come on a long way since you first got him. There was a real difference after you changed his bit over after the show jumping. Just thinking out loud here, would it have helped you in the show jumping if you had changed his bit over at this point? Despite the outcome, it was another good training/scooling outing. Keep up the good work Lucy and Ember. :D
Since when have you been lucy's trainer?
Commensurations.
Shit happens. Next year will be better.
No need for swearing!!
Make sure you have two reins on yr gag😊
Condolences?
