Whats up! from way up north! Man Im making these as fast as my life allows! always good to hear from fans in our neighbor country. trying my best to get one out per week, but with my work and life lately its been tough. I'll be back at it soon though filming this week.
That's what I decided to do with my AC hose on the mark. Finally got turbo manifolds fitted. Getting ready for crossover pipe and getting turbo on. Then run oil drain and hook up vacuum. Still waiting on a few things, but Layla is coming along nicely.....
👍 Gotta say Mike, your a talented guy, job well done you seem to be able to do it all. Your car has came so far I love it, keep up the good work buddy. 🇺🇸
That joker is bananas. I'm so looking forward to buying a Mustang GT next year, since I finially paid off my truck. I'm so looking for a Fox Body or a SN95. Just to start my own channel. I love your car. I want to see more of the Torino. I missed that car. But, keep up the good work.
Thanks man! Hell yeah. Start up a channel, more fox channels the better for sure. My Torino is about to get more love. Had heart set on a 460 stroker for it, but now debating options.
Money...Thats the main reason lol microsquirt is cheaper. And my buddies love the microsquirt. MS3 offers more I/O options and I "think" . Differences are little in my option. You get a 4 bar built in map (44psi) vs a 3 bar map external GM sensor (which is still way more boost than I'll push) knock sensor and some other features. Microsquirt is feature packed, cant fathom spending almost double for these.
I'm really seriously considering running a microsquirt on my 87 GT, do you have to run a wide band O2 censer for it to work? If so do you need to run just 1? what brand do you recommend? Mine is stock for now but will go boosted soon but would like to get it running in stock form first.
You can run wideband or narrow, or both I believe. I removed my stock O2 harness, if I left it on the microsquirt I believe would just use those. You really want to range and speed of a wideband though. The Micrsquit takes any wideband that has a serial output. Im using an AEM 30-0300. Pretty cheap, comes with sensor and gauge. The guege itself has serial outputs on it, I just sent that to the MS ecu. MS ecu, has pre-set calibrations for a lot of popular widebands, or you pre-define settings for one....What I did knowing I was one day going to be bosted, I bought the AEM and installed and used it when I was NA. It was helpful, even before boost, and I knew I could use it when I got this kit.
@@HOUSEOFDULA Thanks for the reply! I'm planing on ordering the MS next week, since the engine is stock I may just run the stock 02's at first but will switch to wide bands, So the stock tune that comes with the MS will get the car running?
Nice car and great videos! Question: I have a built 347 with trick flow 190 11r heads, trick flow r intake and 80# injectors. Do you think the tune they send with the kit will be able to get it running?
Oh yeah. Easily. Soon as you hook it up, change the cc engine size to 5686 cc, and injectors to 840cc. This will cahnge the required fuel and set it up to your car...Calibrate your sensors and fire it up and set base timing. Then start tuning.
Hey, check out the perfecttuning.net/en/gauge/54-universal-gauge.html it works over the can bus lines and can show you all the info the ms can see. I haven't played with all the settings on mine yet but there are alarms you can set for quite a few options.
Cool. Yeah Ive seen these, you could also use a tablet and wireless bluetooth. But this is clean! Thanks. I'd be interested to hear how well you like it. Judging by the size on a 4-eye it could go right in the factory tach spot which would be cool.
I was considering the tablet route and would probably go that way if I had a bad cluster or putting a swap motor in. The gauge itself is the same size as your wideband gauge if you want to use that for a reference size or you could swap out your wideband gauge for this and connect the sensor wire to it, itll communicate with your microsquirt that way too. So far I haven't gotten to play with the settings too much yet because I'm getting my motor back in and installing my rear suspension now. Another thing you could possibly do later is run a electric boost controller, check for the wires for your canister purge solenoid (pin 31) and get it to one of the open outputs into your harness. Thanks for all the info on your builds, it helps quite a few people out.
Did the micro squirt come with any manual or wiring diagram that labels what each wire is and where it should go? Been thinking long and hard before you did your swap about running it on my NA mustang
It doesnt come with a manual but comes with some papers on installing it, wiring the MAP in. All the other info is online. There is a pinout diagram on the back on the ECU itself, and tunerstudio will show you the pin-outs and whats assigned to them. This kit with the fox harness, all the wires are labeled. Its pretty straight forward. It has pre-labeled output wires fir wideband, flex fuel sensor, tach and fan controller.
@@HOUSEOFDULA tunerstudio has a auto tune correct? Do you know how well it works? It would be nice to see a comparison on fuel milage but i know you cant compare but how isnyour milage?
Are these tunes able to be emailed, because I sure could use some help getting my fox to run right,I had to take my microsquirt out just to be able to drive
They can. You can datalog and email me the tune, I'll look it over, or I can share mine, BUT...you set the timing, set the required fuel (based on injector size, engine size, etc) these have to be set right or it wont start. If you did this correctly, you just need to work on the tune. There is just a lot variances, mine is tuned for my 60lb injectors, AEM wideband, etc..I dont consider myself schooled enough on it to really snd tunes confidently...so would be at your risk to get you close, or build from.
@@HOUSEOFDULA that would be awsome if you can share your tune, my car is undriveable so it's hard to data log I'm kinda new to this whole microsquirt tuning, and nobody around me knows how to tune , my email is ronron1466@gmail.com, any help is greatly appreciated

Hey Mike, we gave you a shout out in our latest video (PART 7), keep up the great videos and information, hope to race you one day!
Right on man! Will give a shout out back. Thank you sir! Down to race, will get my S# together.
Great videos Mike, The car is Beast. Time for some racing radicals on the back for more traction.
Yessir Brian. Looking at Micky Thompson SS's right now
That’s so sick!!

I love what you just said. That Torino is going to be nice.
VERY NICE,,,,, DOES THE MICRO SQUIRT REPLASE THE OEM ECU,,😁😁
Ha, yes. but you'd be surprised some folks dont realize how easy this thing replaces the factory ecu with that harness. Easy.
That's an awesome find! Can't wait to see what she's making to the wheels and hear that dump instal 😍🤘🏻🤘🏻
Cool light integration...looking forward to the electric dump video👍🏽
Before I make the purchase may I ask why you didn't go with a megasquirt3 instead? And what are the differences if you know of any. Thank you

I should of bought a micro squirt when they were 299. Now they are 475
Yeah. They've gone up. The On3 kit went up a bit too, its 1550 now was 1499, not much but I'm sure they will keep increasing as people demand it.
