Hi Navneet! let's clarify what we mean when we say that your No-Claim Bonus (NCB) can be carried forward. Imagine you have a health policy with a sum insured of ₹10 lakhs and a 50% NCB. After two claim-free years, your total coverage would increase to ₹20 lakhs. Now, if you decide to port to a new policy with a maximum sum insured of ₹10 lakhs, your coverage will be limited to ₹10 lakhs in the new plan-not ₹20 lakhs. However, if you choose a higher cover, like ₹20 lakhs or more, your waiting periods on the accumulated NCB would be carried forward along with the sum insured in the new ported policy. Hope this helps :)
would have been great if you have mentioned both - abt external porting (one company to another) and internal migration (one policy to another of same company) So pls let us know the procedure for internal migration in a detailed video like this. Thanks for this one 👍👍
Hello Sir, I have one question, Let say I have health insurance policy from company A since 5 years and I want to port to company B because of better features, but I also want continue with policy of company A even after porting to new company in order to have two policies of two different companies for extra safety
This is like having 2 health insurance policies. If you’re comfortable paying premiums for both policies, then go on. But we recommend having one solid comprehensive plan which will come through for you during claim. If you’d like to discuss further, we’d be happy to help you. The link is in the description!
Ok what if I never had a PED during my first policy and I crossed the mortoraium period as well and I plan to port my policy after 10 years and at that time I have diabetes or BP - what will happen? Should I serve PED in new policy? Or considering I crossed the moratorium period with previous insurer, I will be given the new policy without any PED being served?
This completely depends on the medical profile of the person and the insurer. We can't exactly guarantee if waiting periods will be waived off when you port to a new policy
Unfortunately no! Bonus won't be carried forward if you choose to port your policy. Only waiting periods upto sum insured plus bonus will be carried forward.
Hi, try to provide multi linguistic language call advisory service. Iam sure it will expand your range, your service was good but your are restricted to educated place only.
@0:58 more clarification on carry forward of 'no claim bonus' should have been mentioned!

If I get no claim bonus of 50 lakhs in 10 lakh policy of care, can I get those 50 lakhs in new insurer like Aditya Birla or anything else?
Same doubt
NO.

at @0:58 they have mentioned what all gets carry forward, and 'no claim bonus' is clearly mentioned! so it should get carry forward then.
