• Hasegawa TF-104G Starf...
That's a nice tandem manned missile, Maestro...
My grandfather's plane!!! Grazie mille!!! ❤❤❤
The Germans used to call this plane The Widowmaker, 116 pilots in Germany died flying this thing while it was in service.
"The Starfighter featured a radical design, with thin, stubby wings attached farther back on the fuselage than most contemporary aircraft. The wing provided excellent supersonic and high-speed, low-altitude performance, but also poor turning capability and high landing speeds. It was the first production aircraft to achieve Mach 2, and the first aircraft to reach an altitude of 100,000 ft (30,000 m) after taking off under its own power. The Starfighter established world records for airspeed, altitude, and time-to-climb in 1958, becoming the first aircraft to hold all three simultaneously. It was also the first aircraft to be equipped with the M61 Vulcan autocannon."
The weathering was perfect, not too much and not too little, just right.
You excel in the nuance my friend. The subtleties you put into each model separate your builds from your the average modeler. Well done once again!
Wow! I was just going to beg you to drop a second Starfighter video yesterday. Problem solved!
Really like the streaking tips with tape and silicone shapers. Superb build and thanks for sharing with us - I remember seeing the single seaters on occasion flying out of Sigonella in the early 90s.
Beautiful build, no surprise there. Thanks for sharing your hard work again with us!
it's a beautiful build!
Elinize kolunuza sağlık üstat. Her zamanki gibi eğlenceli güzel bir çalışma olduğu gibi eğiticide olmuş. Harika
Hello Rahmi! I've been waiting patiently for this one. 🙂
A debatable aircraft but (to my eyes) esthetically a very pleasing one. Especially this two seater variant...
With the greys you always have some leeway, especially when you represent heavily worn aircraft... The difference between FS36280 and FS36270 is not so big and the fact that the Italian Air Force pushed the resource of their Starfighters to the limit makes your model very realistic! Great job as always. 👍
Hi Radu, thank you so much for your valuable comment!
I have found that Hasegawa (and Tamiya) decals need Solvaset to properly settle, but you just can't flood the decal. Put the decal on with a decent setting solution and get out excess liquid/air as usual. After about an hour drying, brush on Solvaset, quickly and only once or of course you will melt and smear the decal. Let it dry for 24 hours, reapply if needed. The timing is the trick. If you Solvaset right away, the wrinkles will never settle, but if you wait too long (or use another solvent before trying Solvaset) the decal will tend to crack.
Thanks for sharing!
@@Scaleaton Oh, and since I didn't say it before, that is a beautiful Starfighter. I also appreciate the silicone brush and pastel technique. I have been trying to get realistic light grime smears with oil paints and it just is too heavy...it always looks like oil. That is fine, but the technique you showed simulates "lighter" grime very well. Thanks!
*A very nice model, the Starfighter specially its training version is not really popular among modelers, even if this plane is important in the history of the fighters. A lot of products for a wonderful result!*
Complimenti gran bel modello, ottimo lavoro
That sircwas a truly excellent build, and your painting and weathering was extremely well carried out, congratulations on a job very well done, best regards from Australia, Les
Great work!...FANTASTIC Italian fighter low vis!😊👍
Beautiful work. Thanks for posting. Great techniques.
Very great job! I like the way you made the weathering.
Sempre un capolavoro❤🎉
Stunning as ever my dude. Agree about hasegawa decals though. I built the F-2A and the decals were so thick. Nearly impossible to settle.
Love to watch this guy work. Fantastic stuff.
it's been months since I watched a modeling video -- a nice return! Great work. 👌
Hello mr a-thon!a nice little gem you have created.i also love your narration.also I appreciate ur efforts.thank u4sharing.i am happy 2cu unleashing your creative flows.i am looking forward2ur future builds.of course you deserve a thumb up.and I givehim to you.here in germany he is called "the widow maker"because of the many crashes of bundeswehr luftwaffe during Service.keep enjoying and keep the faith.with best regards and sticky greetings from sandy Brandenburg/germany.your fellow modellmate.christian
top build on the 104G
Awesome video again!! I have this one in my stash and I'm gonna build it this winter. Keep the videos coming!
Very great job! Just one thing, sorry, but if I've seen right, you installed the front and rear canopies rotated to 180°, it means that the side that has to stay with the windscreen is looking backward, the same for the rear seat.
Very great job again
Absolutely wonderful work 👍👍
Always stunning builds..Thank You
Great works as asual.
I'm surprised that you don't weight the nose. Thought it was compulsary for all three points aircraft. But F104 has so small wings...
Very cool!😊
Excellent built!
Amazing build as usual. Thanks for the video. I have a question though, how well does the Aires kit in the model? I know they're notorious for bad fit.
This one was pretty easy but the fuselage halves need to be carefully glued. Otherwise cockpit angle not match with the rudder angle from the front view.
Wow that looks awesome
Just some words for the old algorithm.
Great to see you back at it!
Wow. Gorgeous ❤
Beautiful jet Rahmi!!!
Thank you Daniel!
Good job. That`s Great❤🎉😊
Amazing build. One day my skills will be this good. Maybe. What did you use to rescribe those panel lines? It looked like some kind of blade with a plastic orange handle?
You are the best Rahmi abi
Widowmaker. Dream of my Childhood. It was a flying rocket!
Wie habe ich dieses Gerät bestaunt!
And my first airplane model too.
Is it me or did you glue the forward canopy in the wrong opposite direction? Good work though.
@@stevie65able no, I mean the back side is facing the front.
Indeed. After rewatching the video I think you're right!
(It's an easy fix though.)
Yes, you are correct. I just looked at it again. The forward canopy is the wrong way around. The taller part should be facing the rear.
Lol yes you are right. I am going to fix it. Also kit comes with two nozzles. Hasegawa marked the nozzle as "not use" should be use on the Italian version. So I've used the wrong nozzle but not all my fault ;)
According to Scalemates, the TF-104G is a Hasegawa kit based on their earlier F-104 molds with updated parts for the dual seats and other various parts to make it the 'TF' version.
That was and old rumor from 1990's. But yes Hasegawa made the fuselage and TF parts but wings and fuel tanks and remaining sections are from the old company mold (according to that rumor)
that's a really great build as always! such a shame the hasegawa model has such out of scale and unrealistic rivets on the wings, especially in 48 scale. the kinetic model has a way better surface details and if i were to build a f-104 in that scale i'd go for the kinetic.
Professional
Buenisimo !!!!!!!!
I miss your videos in my feed quite often as I don't spot a 'logo' or symbol; just a suggestion, make your thumbnail stand out a bit more with your ScaleTon Logo .. unless I'm just a bit blind of course, hahah
I love your stuff btw.
Thanks for the feedback!
Awesome😍
've been trying to get this Alclad 2 313 for a long time but no one wants to deliver it to Switzerland
Very nice video. Could I have your audience retention chart please? 80% of my viewers leave my videos after 30 seconds. I wanted to know if great modelers like you have the same thing or if it's my fault😆. Thank you.
Even though your question seems simple, it has deeper roots in social sociology and involves a cause-and-effect relationship. To answer briefly, no, it's not your fault that you're experiencing this. TH-cam's algorithm isn't showing your video to people who are likely to watch it, or maybe your thumbnail is misleading and people are clicking away right away. But this represents a very small percentage. If you're using the mobile app, you know that videos have been auto-playing for a long time, and as you scroll down, other videos start playing automatically. That's the answer to your question. Your subscribers are quickly scrolling down to see what's trending and usually closing the app to watch later. TH-cam could have adjusted its algorithm for this situation, but it hasn't. The reason is the competition it's facing with TikTok in terms of low-quality content. As a result of this competition, those who have been creating quality content on TH-cam for the past year have either stopped or reduced their production. In the last few months, all the quality, long-form content channels I know have started to quit. Throughout history, well-educated societies have been a thorn in the side of management and capital. Whenever something good and quality starts to develop, someone has sabotaged it and turned the masses back into fools for ages. TikTok, which is produced as a counter to an excellent source of information like TH-cam, is rapidly becoming an internet disaster. Unfortunately, TH-cam also seems to have decided to develop in that direction. Because the new algorithm is literally doing everything it can to prevent us from producing quality, long-form content. It doesn't even show my subscribers any videos in the main feed that I haven't given remix permission for, which are being plundered by creators of short, crappy content. I don't know where this is all going. :) The short answer to your question is: no, the problem isn't with you.
@@Scaleaton Thank you for the comprehensive answer. I have a similar opinion about the algorithm. Keep creating, I appreciate your work, thank you😉
Hey why the zippo fluid rather than enamel thinner? Is it way better?
I also use it to brew washes instead enamels. It dries in seconds. Give it a try ;)
