July 2017 - For this trip to Israel, my wife and I rented an apartment in Tel Aviv, Israel, and used it as our base to explore the region. From the outside, the neighborhood and buildings look a little old and run down, but on the inside, the apartment that we rented was superb. It was spacious, perfectly laid out, and what I especially loved, and I think you will too, is the outdoor terrace / balcony. The weather was perfect in July, a little warm in the sun, but in the shade on the ends of the day on the balcony it was amazing to sit outside.
I hope you enjoyed this Tel Aviv apartment tour and that it gives you a glimpse into local living in Tel Aviv. I found Tel Aviv to be a very expensive city to live and travel in. I rented this apartment on Airbnb for $114 per night for a very short term stay, that's why it was expensive, but rent by the month can also be quite expensive in central Tel Aviv. In comparison to hotels in Tel Aviv though, for that amount of space, I found them to be quite expensive and in high demand as well.
My wife, son, and I had a great stay at this apartment in Tel Aviv!

i live in israel all my life and i can tell you that living in tel aviv is one of most exspensive cities in here and in other cities you can find much beter houses and apartments for much cheeper. the reason that tel aviv is very exspensive is because the culture the beach and basicly the vibe of it. hope you enjoyed!

Great, upbeat tour of a typical Tel Aviv apartment. He accepts little inconveniences like four flights of stairs, enjoys the apartment's no-fuss size, and really appreciates what makes living there special: the sweet open air, clean water, and living outdoors most of the year. Loved that he didn't make the place look super tidy and shiny like a hotel. A little clutter makes a house (even an Airbnb) a home, in my opinion. Good post!

It's dark in the hall way because you have to push the red button on the wall when you walk through the front door. The lights will turn on for a few minutes so you don't have to walk to your flat in the dark. By not keeping the lights on 24/7, we save electricity.

Don't buy your food in Tel Aviv (because it's really expensive there indeed)
Take 10 a minutes drive to Bat Yam, Holon, or any other city around Tel Aviv, and buy it there, in half price

First. I really hope you've enjoy in Israel. I'm more an Jerusalem kind of type. And please come to visit it. I really in love with this city.
About the price in Tel Aviv
It's a fair price to rent by rental overnight.
For us. As Israelis it's cost about 2,200-2300$ for this kind of place.
It's in good area. And everything is close to you. But this price is not included additional fees and taxes. Like water bill. Electric bill. property tax for the city hall. i.e.
So yes. 114$/night is a good price

Te Aviv is part of Israel, not Palestine. I'm all for a separate state of Palestine, but it's ridiculous to claim Israel doesn't also have a right to exist a country. Jews have lived there since thousands and thousands of years, just like Arabs. This hatred will lead nowhere, just to war and more bloodshed.

There has been an Arab state in "Palestine" since 1923 called The Kingdom of Jordan whose capital is Amman. No more Arabs states , please!

This is a food Vlog - but there is no such thing ""Palestine"" - Mark made 12 great vlogs in Jordan last year ... Well Jordan is the Eat Bank and is approximately 75% of the Mandate of Palestine >>> The Arabs already got an Independent ""Palestine"" - it's called Jordan . I love your Vlogs .

Did you live in Tel Aviv for while? You could put a small bubble pool on your patio and also hang a clothes line to dry your clothes!
