6 months ago i couldn’t walk without a walker. Today thanks to your exercises and following workouts with Lacey at The Shed Movement on TH-cam i am walking up to 2 miles a day without assistance.. Thank You! 😊
Thanks! My favorite and very helpful low back exercise first thing in the morning is to lay on my back, knees bent, legs together, and slowly shift my knees from one side to the other. Repeat 10- 20 times.

Hi Dr Rowe I need some advice as i'm not sure what to do... A month ago I used my plastic (somewhat spiked) roller, whilst on the floor on my back. Started from my shoulders and worked my way down my back rolling on it. After I rolled down to the base of my spine, the next day it was terribly achy. I then had an intense week carrying camera gear (as im a cameraman) and now my lower back is incredibly stiff and achy. The only way I've been able to alleviate the pain is either taking ibeprofen or doing some of the lower back exercises from your videos. I'm not entirely sure what I've done to my lower back and unsure what the best course of action is to heal it. I don't know if I've bruised or damaged something at the base of my spine by simply laying my back on and rolling on the roller. Would you happen to have any advice? Warmest regards Dan

I would say not necessarily. If you're not active, your back and other muscles will stiffen. Stretch a few times a week. If you're overweight, back pain can be expected. Stay active. I've been going through phases since I was 30 where I get lazy for weeks, and back aches come back. I get back to my stretch routines and other outdoor activities to feel better. I'm 52, and still going through these phases.
I have a bulging disk in my lower back - will these exercises help the pain associated with the bulging disk? I’ll definitely give these exercises a try. Thanks!
After 35 years of back problems, this is what did it for me. Do the yoga Child's Pose for 5 minutes 3 times a day. The other is done by lying on your back with your thighs perpendicular to the floor and your calves parallel to the floor (legs at 90 degrees). Rotate your knees in a circle in ever increasing size 5-20 times. Reverse direction of the circles and circle your knees 5-20 times.
awesome exercises and some new one which I never tried. On the last one, i do the same except i also stretch away left leg then the right one, sometime as it stretch i hear a “crack” which gives relief, is this good?

Someone should invent a 'morning belt' for us, that sucks, kneeds, heatsup the lower back and gets things running. I don't like money, so there a free idea for someone to invest in. :) But I wouldn't mind a free such a belt when get to make one. ;)
Dr, pain in left hip near waist.Feels like a tight muscle that just won’t release. Causes pain constantly even in my tailbone making sitting quite uncomfortable. It does all seem connected. Been doing your stretches. Any idea what this could be? I do have arthritis in my low back. But this feels more like an entrapped muscle that just won’t release. I need some help. Thanks

Is it okay to do bench presses with feet on bench, hook lying, while performing a posterior pelvic tilt to maintain a flat lordosis?
For me, my back feels best first thing in the morning. My back feels worse as the day goes on.

Unfortunately I can’t do 3/4 of these due to a baby belly. If you have the opportunity, a back pain relief for pregnancy would be amazing.

Do you get the same pain even if you skip the coffee? If not, eliminating coffee from your diet might not be a bad thing 🙂
Maybe it's because of the acid content in coffee 🤔 I sometimes get more pain in my joints if I am more acidic than alkaline, based on my diet..
