Each project has 16 banks, not just 4. Each bank holds 16 patterns, and 4 parts. Each of those 4 parts holds settings for each of the 8 tracks and 16 scenes. So that is 16 patterns per bank, 64 scenes per bank 4 parts per bank

Great! I have a problem when changing my parts, i work with short samples and flex machines, with different effects, and as i change parts on the run there's a sort of bug with sounds, sometimes a mute of some sounds...you don't have the same ptoblem....is this because you're using samples starting on the first trig?
Thanks! Still alot to learn for sure, but after a couple weeks with it, I felt comfortable enough to make some beats and jams with it. Having the A4 before helped with the learning process.
So question since each back has 4 parts, are you treating the "Bank" as the song with the "Parts" being the variations? then when transitioning songs, your switching banks?
This machine is so not able to be fully functional as it could be-such a terrible system of files-parts-patterns. Samples are so not utilized for variety. I would pay for new firmware
