Only heard this song for the first time a couple of days ago as I just drove into work on the radio. It was about 6am and got in early. I work on the docks here in Dublin, Ireland. I parked facing east. It was a calm day, with the fog lifting and sun starting to burn through and just looking at the ship I am about to service and across the calm bay,, I just finishing my coffee i made at home and having a smoke before going to report for our briefing of the day on the quay wall and hearing this for the first time,, wow,, just beautiful. Just set me up for the day, I could not wait to come home and hear this on my headphones and just blast it out and trip to the beautiful music and vocials. Love, love, love.
Hey man you really took us mentally there.... must have been an awesome moment. I too stumbled on this song while driving (not in such a picturesque scenery though) and can relate. Peace
Dude. Texas is amazing. I don’t care what your political ideology is either. I’ll be the first to admit I’m a very very liberal human. Texans are the nicest people I’ve ever met. God I love texas.
I love the fact that its SO DIFFERENT. I am so grateful to have came across Leon Bridges years ago, and now Khruangbin. Please let me see him in concert! His music relaxes my soul.
khruangbin brought will van horn on as opener for their tour, leon bridges brought khruangbin for their opener on tour, and this song has all three of them :)
I drove across Canada with this beautiful tune on my playlist. Vancouver to Gaspésie. Previously it had been the song my roommates and I played before heading to the beach or the lake in Vancouver. Leon's silky voice always made us smile.
Wow, I always hear the reggae influences in Khruangbin and it was no surprise when I found out the bass player studied Roots Radics, Flabba Holt. But now I read this comment and you are right, there is a Tinariwen feel in there too.
My colleague from Milan was playing this as we were driving into Salt Lake City as the sun went down on the city and it was such a chill moment -> that I had to ask him who is this ?
This song came out right before I moved to Hawai'i permanently but it doesn't make me miss Texas. It makes me miss going to shows in Austin and Houston from 2002-2009
I found this on some spotify playlist next to Fleetwood Mac and Tom Petty. This is a great song ...great voice too. Its nice to chill out sometimes and let the anxiety reset.
Same as Charlie. I liked it right away and started liking it more. then i find out that's Khrangbuin playing with him! It's just the coolest guitar riff. Simple.
Favorite Lyric in this song: “Caressing you from Fort Worth to Amarillo” That’s a whole 5hrs and 8 mins of caressing. 🔥
That's just great haha
Someone google mapped this...
haha
Ha! I’d love that amount of caressing 🤭
Favorite bit to , it’s how he delivers the line also ,👍
Poetic.

Ooo. Your writing is so visual. I love it.
Ya bro this kinda song helps me through my days. I'm in Ontario Canada.
You are a writer, explore that talent! It starts with the mind, the writing can be learned quite quickly with some guidance.
You should come over here during the late spring, do a road trip through he places he talks about, and write about them. I'd definitely read it.
When a concert is so fckn chill that the bouncer can chat on his phone
Chitlins Laundry prolly because the way they play is literally hypnotizing
hahahahaa holy shit i LOL'd hard when I actually saw the bouncer chilling, leaning back looking at his phone
Chitlins Laundry, I was thinking why wasn’t he swaying to the song? Very hard not to.
that's a chill kill
@@dougg1729 Bouncer? I thoight he was selling ice cream
this song spoke to me instantly. Its rare I don't want to stop listening to a song after playing it multiple times a day for a fortnight.
Same here
Agreed, this song honestly could get me out of my chair no matter where or when you play it
🤙🏻
For a fortnight 🤣
Tears in my eyes
Cmon the bass player's outfit is gold !!!! this band are just huge ! love em !!!
The lead guitarist is dressed in gold Mark Speer the Female Laura Lee is the BASS player Hey 19 Detroit
what is her name?
@@haymonsworld14 Laura Lee..
Looks like Psychedelic Voltron
She’s just channeling her inner Bootsy Collins. Outfit is very funkadelic.
Two of the best together. So good. They need to make a full album together.
Sounds like both parties, and yet something new for each! Fantastic collaboration.
their 4 track ep coming out february 7th !
Amen! 🙌🏼🎶🎶🎶💕
I’ve never been to Texas and I don’t get how this song makes me so connected to it... looks like I’m booking a ticket
Same! 🤪❤️
Born and raised in Texas here, nothing sounds more lovely than a ride from Ft. Worth to Amarillo early in the morning cuddled up with your partner
Make it two sister
Old highway 90 from Del Rio to Marfa is the drive your searching for in Texas.
Dude. Texas is amazing. I don’t care what your political ideology is either. I’ll be the first to admit I’m a very very liberal human. Texans are the nicest people I’ve ever met. God I love texas.
Only problem here is that the song's too short. I could listen all day long....
I'll give you some advice: listen to it, then repeat, then repeat, then repeat.
Nothing like cruising on 6 into that big beautiful Texas sky every evening
I haven’t heard anything this good, ever.
I’m trying to find more songs like this. No luck so far.
I could drive all night listening to this! Right on!
Awesome, wonderful, soulful ...words can't express!
Me encanto!!! Ese sonido bien Country, te transporta al lejano oeste. El sonido del bajo y la guitarra es increíble. Me encanto 🙌🏼🔝👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🇦🇷🙋🏻♂️
Dude, I was there that night, I am getting Goosebumps again, thank you so much for this!
Came for the song, stayed for the bassist
This is the song, one of those songs that sings to your heart💕💕💕💕💕💕
I love the fact that its SO DIFFERENT. I am so grateful to have came across Leon Bridges years ago, and now Khruangbin. Please let me see him in concert! His music relaxes my soul.

Wow! Khruangbin going glam with the outfits. Love it!
Just happened to find this song as I was taking a drive....I was really feeling it. The music so soothing and cool. I kept repeating it.
Such a beautiful performance 💗
turned on and blown away today - I could play along for hours - love the change up- so lonesome
khruangbin brought will van horn on as opener for their tour, leon bridges brought khruangbin for their opener on tour, and this song has all three of them :)
Just so very, very beautiful in every way.
Just fabulous.....👌

Travis ... This upload is OUTSTANDING ... thank you for posting!!! 💖💖💖
Just heard this today! Omg his guitar work is very similar to Tinariwen! I love the everything about this song and that Lap Steel Guitar!
Just listened on WXPN-Philadelphia. I do agree that it does have a Tinariwen feel to it. Love the tone of it. The song is quite haunting.
Wow, I always hear the reggae influences in Khruangbin and it was no surprise when I found out the bass player studied Roots Radics, Flabba Holt. But now I read this comment and you are right, there is a Tinariwen feel in there too.
exactly
This song is an all time country driving song !
Que rico es escucharlos en vivo! 🔥
I love this song proud to be born and raised in Texas
You should be proud. A perfect song about your state.
Adorei! Já ouvi várias vezes e não me canso.
This murked, and revived me at the same time. Blessed be.

Total gold! Nothing but good soul music!!
She's stunning... Wonderful
And Will Van Horn on that lap steel.
Is it actually? That's so sick
pedal steel, for the record. Big difference.
My colleague from Milan was playing this as we were driving into Salt Lake City as the sun went down on the city and it was such a chill moment -> that I had to ask him who is this ?
I was there ❤️❤️❤️
Esa guitarra es tan identificable, es increíble la emoción que trasmite Speer
This song came out right before I moved to Hawai'i permanently but it doesn't make me miss Texas. It makes me miss going to shows in Austin and Houston from 2002-2009
The singer and the band are awesome.
Brilliant threads to go with a great tune
They need to make an album together!!!
Better & better all the time. I guess that the trick to getting complete lyrics from Khruangbin is having Leon Bridges join
Bassist stole the show. YOWZA!
Dan. P. She tends to do that. :)
Search a few more videos of her 👀🤩
thats what u call listening with yer eyes ;-)
Que musica perfeita meu deeeusssssss OMGG
Una de mis favoritas❤
I found this on some spotify playlist next to Fleetwood Mac and Tom Petty. This is a great song ...great voice too. Its nice to chill out sometimes and let the anxiety reset.
Thank God.
Same as Charlie. I liked it right away and started liking it more. then i find out that's Khrangbuin playing with him! It's just the coolest guitar riff. Simple.
Gold... i always knew who Leon Bridges was but damn this trio is really good. Just downloaded their albums 👌
I wish I would've discovered them in time to see them in Houston. At least I'll get to see them in Austin May 29th!
i'm still waiting for 24 hour version of this masterpiece...
My new favorite song! Love love this!!!💙
Perfect tune ! I hope the recording will include Will Van Horn's pedal steel.
Pure class.
❤❤❤
Sounds brilliant....
Beautiful music
2:01 despite being working, the man under the stage realizes of the unrepeatable eargasm he's experiencing and says: "Wonderful"
Beautiful 🙌🏼
Greetings from germany

Sounds incredible!
yes...yes........yes🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I hope they all tour and make it up to Canada
We can only hope for the day .
Texas Sun on repeat
Love that the bass is the loudest thing in the mix
How does this even work??? On paper this shouldn't even be possible, but in reality it is amazing!!!
Love it...
That shaggy looking white guy on guitar is a beast.
this rocks!!
Anybody got a live video of them playing Midnight? What a POWERFUL SUPERGROUP this is
Merveilleux
Barack Obama's curated Playlist on TIDAL brought me here. Glad it did.
Me too!
Laura Lee has great vocals and include the Spanish vocals she does too but man I wish this guy was officially part of the band
That bass player though!!! 😍
Love it
If they arent a perfect mix for each other

Does anyone have the key card to Laura Lee's spaceship? Pls IG me, stat.
I dig.
Nice share !!
That bass player is smokin’.
I'm jumping up on stage to give Laura a hug
This show was fuckin 'dooooooooooooope.
Great quality, uploader! What camera did you use? Audio is brilliant...
How the guitarist get this hollow tone in a strato?????
As if this soothing music were not beautiful enough, the bass player had to move those hips in such a perturbative way
😍😍😍😍😍😍
