It's crazy how interesting events that took place in a digital wasteland landscape really are. I've heard someone say it before but 2b2t's map literally is an art piece with a piece of history behind every block.
I'd also like to add just how vital that spawn teleport module ended up being. That one module alone changed the server's history, yeah, x0XP had it first, but once it went public, it allowed the entire group of Valkyria control over spawn which eventually led to the events of this video: th-cam.com/video/dcMR45CnqCU/w-d-xo.html
Little more context, I think it went public after I told Tristan/pyro in public chat about teleporting to the square root of imaginary numbers. Basically you teleported to Math.sqrt(-1) and for some reason the server would put you at what it considered to be the set spawn location. I don’t actually know why this worked though.
@@xZeRoXP probably the same or a similar reason as to why you default to that location when you respawn without a bed or joined for the first time back then.. It's just the default location Minecraft uses for certain things.

Better to not check the code prior to downloading it and instead download the code and compile it yourself; release artifacts don’t need to originate from the source.
